A Target that's in a nice area of town, and yet is filled with employees who really don't care about anything. As I type this I'm standing in the toothbrush aisle waiting for someone to come unlock the toothbrushes. I've been standing here for 15+ minutes and nobody has come by despite me spamming the red "Help" button on the wall. Does the button work???? I have no idea..: but you can't seem to find any help in this store for much of anything. If you need a quick deodorant or a bag of chips, come to this location. If you actually need help with anything more??? Do not waste your time. Go to the Bellflower location or heck, go to the Torrance location. Anything can and will be better than the customer service you're getting at this store in Signal Hill. read more

This is just to update my review from Target. Located in Signal Hill the border of Bixby Knolls literally across the street on a huge lot that also houses Chick Fil A on the corner. Please see my prior reviews for more complete reviews on other items. Todays visit is for Target drive up I love the drive up app it's easy to use and most often 95% of what I want or need is always in stock at this store and whatever isn't I have shipped or delivered to my house at no extra cost they bring your order to the car you show the order number and boom you're out of there. Tell the app you're on the way drive up and enter your parking number the wait isn't long but at peak times the wait time is longer. I shop inside the twice a month my the last visit in store I found it clean well stocked and the staff were helpful as always the line wait is too long for me most often and I prefer the self check out. I most often need monthly dog care items potty pads, doggy tearless shampoo house items such as toilet tissue paper towels, antibacterial hand wipes although I have noticed Wet Ones wipes (20 pack) have shrunk and the price is higher I bought the generic Up&Up brand I will let you know how the two brands compare. I also bought an Ever Care ultra sticky pet lint roller and bought a generic brand Up&Up pet hair and lint roller I will let you know how it compares to a non brand. Long lines at the registers. It's been getting worse and worse over the years. It's frustrating cause you see a lot of staff walking around yet only two registers open with about 10 people waiting in each of the two lines. Came in excited to get some #BHM Merch because Target does it UP yearly with the merch! This particular Target did the #BlackHistoryMonth Section so wrong! First off, why is it all the way in the back of the store in a far off corner!? *i'll wait* Normally, Target stores have the #BlackHistoryMonth Merch in the front of the stores where it can be seen and neatly displayed. Placed an order for Drive-up and received an item that had a terribly damaged box and some liquid splatter all over. Upon opening the item to ensure that it was "just the box that is damaged" the product itself had also been used. Horrible quality control at this store and this is not the first time. read more

*STARBUCKS REVIEW* Drove just to get a Carmel Frappuccino I want to order and was told that they were out of ice?? Starbucks out of ice?? I was shocked. yeah only Hot drinks only and she turned her back on me. since I made the drive, I decided to shop on target maybe pick something up didn't end up getting anything. On my way out I seen one of their Starbucks employees order a huge drink with ice in it once again I was in shock?? so I went to the counter and asked her if they had ice now?? then she told me they got that ice from the target ice maker? at this point she knew she had effed up and said she would go get me the ice from the Target icemaker. WTH . I will be calling to talk to a manager as soon as New Year's is over. FYI if they say they're out of ice, tell them to get the target ice. I guarantee they won't give you that option. I always come here! I'm nearby. I like this location compared to the Lakewood mall location. This one is chill in the morning, busy during the day but always has what I need. I'm here now. The self check out is closed but I like when it's open. Otherwise I like the Starbucks here it has seating! read more

I'm not gonna give this five stars only because the parking is complete trash and I hate the fact that there's only one entrance in this damn target. But it's raining right now really bad as we all know this is winter season and I am walking outside with my basket full of things that I purchased and my basket end up blocking on me in the middle of the street while it was raining and the nice employee was so nice, he helped me to my car help me put the things in my trunk. I love the drive up, pick up service, because I've been in this store and witnessed lots of shoplifting and nobody cares. I do recommend the drive up pick service but be sure to check your order before you accept it. I have been giving the wrong product or opened the product at home and instead of two items in one box I recd one item. read more

Love this target. Parking can be hectic but they have a good variety of everything you could need once you get inside. I don't typically write reviews about stores like target, but today My husband and I were looking everywhere for hand warmers- literally went to three different stores (Albertsons, Cvs, target) to find them. We were about to look for an employee to ask for help when someone named Salazar spotted us and actually asked us if we needed help. That never happens! Not only did he look on his phone/scanner to see if they had the item in stock but he also asked another employee how to check the inventory in the back to help us. Unfortunately they were sold out but before we left, he walked us over to where we can find them in the future. He was so friendly and thorough that I wanted to give him a shoutout. Went to the exchange counter to exchange an item because it didn't work once battery was installed. Gave lady at counter the item and the receipt. She rang it up and said the credit card will receive credit in three days or so but they don't do exchanges. Excuse me, but what does that sign behind you read? And she wouldn't give me a receipt. It took the involvement of her manager Justin to accomplish that. He confirmed that they don't do exchanges. He tried some bs excuse which we both knew was nonsense. Lying Target does it again. Their so-called "exchange" department does no such thing despite the foot-high signage claiming they do. Why won't they do what they say they will? Granted, the amount of money they're floating on isn't significant (what in Target is?) but when you multiply that over thousands of customers at hundreds of stores it means that you can do A LOT of floating on other people's money. It really adds up! Just another "semi-legit" scam to pull on the public. read more

Honesty first, even tho this is a nice target inside, it feels very unsafe. There are tons of sketchy characters hanging in the parking lot as if it was a swap meet, taking a few spots with their comforter, paintings, Jesus in a cross wooden 5" foot-decor, selling chicharron, selling tamales. Then you have 3 people asking for donations on the sidewalk. It's hard to find parking due to the street sellers taking so many spots. I literally got out of the car, shopped, left, and my husband found parking. I told him just to stay in the car because we just back from Ross and I didn't want my car broken into. Will only shop here out of desperation and necessity. The employees I encountered were very nice!!! read more

After so many years, this Target has finally remodeled. I'm very impressed with both the new exterior and interior design. There's more self check outs now, there's alcohol, and even an ulta beauty inside. The only downside to coming to this location is the parking still. read more

If I could give this GHETTO AZZ Target a zero I would!! I picked the drive up service to get a few items. One of them was an 800 count pack of BABY WIPES. Wait until I show you what these BUMS brought to my car! What in the RATATOUILLE IS THIS??!! I wouldn't wipe off my dog with these! Had a horrible experience at the Starbucks in the store. The girl at the register was being extremely rude. Heavy set young woman had an attitude when I asked for drinks. She was snarky when she said we don't have the caramel, asked for chocolate chip cookie and again with the snarky attitude. I sincerely hope she is having an off day and hope it gets better for her but she works in customer service so some pleasantness comes with that title. Hope Target checks up on their employees from time to time. I ended up getting a drink but the quality was just not there. Starbucks and Target get it together! Get it together!!!!!!! Review is mostly for their beauty section. Better selection than other locations, and there's plenty of good stuff to pick from. Impressed by this the most. The dollar section looks better stocked compared to other locations too. Not bad. Took out a star because it's to find parking mid-day on a Thursday. It is currently under construction so hopefully it'll be better after it's done. First time here so I don't know what the parking situation is usually, was just more hectic than I expected on a weekday. Cashier was friendly and quick too. read more

This is for the Customer service lines & Drive up. They never pick up their phones. I don't know if they just let them ring! Usually shop in store but today I couldn't personally get off and shop. I placed an online order indicating pick up would be ready same day. It never was ready drove up to the drive up and asked for information. 3 employees were walking out together for one order. Hanging out it seemed. Talking about they are super backed up and that I can just cancel & shop in store Lol I would if I could've smh Not everyone is lazy. There is a reason I did drive-up.
