Target is Target and this Target is about as sub par as the rest, but let's be honest. We all go to Target and rely on it for the discounted prices and essentials we need. However, this Target stands out for me because of the grocery section of the store and most importantly the produce and meat. I was pleasantly surprised with the meat selection here and not just regular cuts of meat, but pre-prepared selections with garnishes, cheeses etc. They even had bacon wrapped steak! I think I might start frequenting Target for not just my household needs and bath products, but for my groceries and meals instead! Maybe not all the time, but it's definitely worth keeping on the list for food. read more

My boyfriend and I have been a frequent customers of this Target for years. This store has everything we need and it's super close to home. 90% of the time there is someone available to help when needed. The cashiers have always need very kind,friendly and efficient. The store has been partly remodeled and for old as this location is it is very clean and organized. Hope this helps. read more

Who doesn't love Target? This is not my normal location, but I had to stop here to run some errands. Clean, well stocked.. it's Target.

Bad customer service. Goodluck finding a worker or a product in the right spot on the shelf. You can only find workers at the checkout section. It's not my fault that everything in the baby section is in the wrong spot and how was I even suppose to know that? Especially with no workers ever around. I bought a pampers swaddlers diapers box that was in the $24.99 section for $35 and baby bottles by phillips avent that was in the $14.99 section for $19.90 and to top it all off when I told the cashier the price I seen them at the shelf the supervisor Nicole made me walk her all the way to the back of the store to show her where I found the product and where others of the same kind were still in the apparent wrong spot but she didn't care and refused to honor the price on either item. What really got me mad is she made me walk to the back twice since I didnt realize the 2nd item was also a different price than I had originally seen on the shelf until after I came back to the register. Horrible online service ... shipped part of order to my house... shipped the other half to the store ... then they never Notified me that it was at that store ( I thought it was backordered). It took 2 people to figure out what was going on .... then only halve my order was there ( went back on shelf today) Checkout is always horrible. For the most part a standard Target. The Pharmacy Staff is great. The staff has been generally nice and helpful.

This location specifically, the staff are extremely nice and helpful. I occasionally use coupons(not one of those extreme couponers), but I want to spend my hard earned money well. the staff always make me feel welcoming, not like the location in North Scottsdale, sorry for comparing but it's the truth. I think they just have a better management. I have not seen one cashier here that makes me feel uncomfortable. Also, the new target app works like a charm. The new searching engine is so so easy to use, super accurate on prices as well as store locations and availability. This is the closest target to my home, so I like to shop here often. Target often advertises "deals" on diapers. Yesterday's "deal" was if you spend $100 on diapers, wipes, pull ups, etc you can get a $20 gf. Well that's not the case, its a scam and simply a way for Target to get you to buy more, not to save. This has occurred before at this same Target. I purchased $100 worth of wipes, diapers and pull ups, but the "swim" diapers were discounted so the amount was 15 cents short of $100. The manager wouldn't issue the gf and told me I had to buy more. Insanity!!! YOUR STORE DISCOUNTED the item, not me!!! In addition, the items weren't even on the shelf. Myself and several other mothers had to pull boxes and open them off of a loading cart, because no one had even restocked the items. I will not be shopping here and will order online or go out of my way to shop at other retailers. read more

This is by far my favorite Target store in the valley. I tend to be a difficult customer in regards to looking for specific sizes, items, and dealing with returns but tonight Thomas (who mentioned he was still in training) checked me out and he was the most pleasant employee I have EVER dealt with. Not only did he initiate meaningful conversation, but was virtuous enough to walk my bags after check out to me on my side of the register...this is something luxury retailers such as Nordstrom's provide, and I would have never expected it and was pleasantly surprised! This review is not entirely about this particular store, but rather the very unethical practice of how Target refunds in general. So the review is for entire company. This was the most shocking experience I've ever had with such a large retailer. Unethical sums it up perfectly. I placed an order online for a stick vac. I went to the store to pick up the stick vac and the young man at the customer service counter said it had not been processed yet. I was in the back of the store and saw the stick vac back on the shelf and I put it in my cart and walked back up to the customer service desk. The same associate said, " I will ring this up for you and then cancel your online order. He told me since it has not processed yet it will just cancel and no charges on your card. I then paid for the stick vac at the register with him. No problem. He had a little handheld phone and I saw him looking for my order to cancel. Next morning I see a new charge from Target on my credit card for the online purchase. A few minutes later Target emailed me saying they were sorry I canceled, and they will refund me in the form of a store credit (gift card). I called Target and was on hold for so long I had to hang up. I went on to their chat and that took 45 minutes. The result I got from that chat was that it is Targets policy to refund in store credit (I print screened the entire chat for evidence). I fought for my money but could not get them to budge. I finally called back to another number they gave me and was on hold for another 20 minutes. I Plead my case, and still no refund to my credit card. Let me be clear- I did nothing wrong here! I paid for my purchase at the counter where the associate told me he was canceling my order and there would be no charges because it HAD NOT PROCESSED YET! Then I was charged for the same order the next morning. Then Target refused to credit my credit card even THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. They insisted that If I want my money back, I need to spend it in their store using that store credit. This is unethical folks. TWICE I paid for the same item, and now they force me to spend my refund in their store??? If this review seems unreal here is my case number Ref 46921725 I also have a complete copy of the chat that ensued for 45 minutes, and I have the receipt for paying at the register. This is real folks. Target is SCARY! And if I ever get my refund- I still lost 3 hours and got so incredibly frustrated I should be compensated for triple that cost! But I will never see a dime of that refund, and I wont step foot in a Target again. The next time I see an article about them closing a store, I will understand why. read more

I feel like this location is one of the worst now. Employees are soo unfriendly and rude for no reason. Went last night and Elizabeth was the cashier. I couldn't believe how rude she was. This review is in regards to the Red Card. I have a debit Red Card, so the card is tied into my checking account. I recently made a return, and noticing the money hadn't been put back into my account after two days, reached out via telephone to their customer service. The gentlemen, once I told him the situation, said he could not help me but would transfer me to someone who could. He then came back on the line and said the department was unavailable but would be in an hour. Huh. I asked him what department it was, and he said disputes, which I found odd as I wasn't disputing anything. I then asked if anyone else could help me, and he asked if I would like to speak with a supervisor, I said "sure". I was confused as to why he didn't tell me before that there was someone available who could help me. He put me on hold and a gal came on the line who was immediately defensive with me, which I found to be odd. After being mildly antagonistic with me she told me that it could take 2-3 business days for the money to hit my account once they receive the notification from the store to send an ACH to my bank. It would have been easier for her to just tell me that in the beginning of the call instead of seemingly trying to simply insult me for most of the conversation, or for the gentleman who answered to tell me right off the bat. The way my call was handled tells me that they frequently receive this type of call, and probably often have unhappy customers when they are told what the process is. When all is said and done, it probably takes about a week to get your money back into your bank account if you make a return on your debit Red Card. read more

I usually am super happy with the service I get at this target. Today was not one of those days. Dealing with Linda at the customer service counter was anything but pleasant. I had an order I had placed for pick up and went to see if, since I had got to the store early, there was any chance it was ready or that I could pick it up. What I got was a lecture on how it's coming from target.com (which yes it was through the app but it was I stock in the store which is why I opted for the pick up) and that if I wanted her to get it while I was there she would charge me for it. I guarantee when I drive away to head back home my item will be ready and being someone in a service based business I know it doesn't take that much to allow him to go to the isle , get the product, and have them process it the same way they would if it were 20 min later when my item is due for pick up. Target store, Scottsdale, AZ, Pavilions 11/20/2016, 9:30 AM I was OVERCHARGED for item on sale. I took the item back for my discount. I waited ten minutes at cs counter while the lady looked for a customer's item that had been purchased online. After my exchange i asked if i could have an additional discount for the inconvenience of having to return to the store and waiting ten minutes for her to help me. Ignoring me she gave me the return receipt and said have a nice day. A few minutes later i decided i didnt need to buy these items at Target. I could buy them at other stores, so i decided to return my total purchase. Again after waiting at cs counter i asked a cash register clerk to speak to someone in management. She said she didn't know any and directed me to cs counter. I asked the the cs to speak to management again they did know of any in the store but said an lod (i believe that was the term, or something like that) would come. The young lady that came barely knew how to make my return, couldnt get an authorization code and did not respond to any of my questions. Apparently, customers are not allowed to speak to management if they complain. read more
