As always, my happy place. New (to me) location I stopped at to pick up carrot cake ingredients. Store was well stocked, clean, & had some really great Bullseye finds including a $1 glow in the dark fidget spinners. What I am also super appreciative of is Target continuing its inclusivity. Target (nor anyone or any corporation will make every one happy) does it's best to make people happy & including plus size women of all colors & ages on its advertising online & in stores, makes me happy. To make me super duper happy would be to see even more plus size in stores. Otherwise, I'm happy overall. Would come back to this store if I was in the area. This is my go to Target on this side! Easy to locate, lots of parking. There are other stores and restaurants surrounding this location. Stopped here for a few things and they seemed to have a lot of sale items on a number of things, which were flabbergasting Perfect spot to grab road trip items, household items and might I add, cute clothing for kids. I found cereal bowls for .50 (yes, 50 cents) which, are perfect for kids... in fact, I may return to grab the matching cute plates that go along with the bowls also .50 My only problem was, having to get this tall guy to grab items for me as I didn't realize how short I really am, until trying to reach the paper towels. I went into this particular store a week ago to ask if they would be carrying the " John Derian collaboration". I was told they would not have it. I didn't feel as though the person was very informed so I went into the store yesterday, one day prior to the collaboration release and asked if the store was going to have it and this time I was told yes but they would not be putting it out. I would have to buy things online. this is a national collaboration and the release date is today October 19. I bought things online I went this morning to pick it up at the store and It is not ready yet. It'll take two hours. I go back to pick it up and the kid that went in the back to get it brought out the pillows just like they were and threw them in my cart with no bag nothing. Terrible attitude. One of the items was damaged and i asked another one and he said oh we don't have any when in fact, it shows online that they did. Saw another lead telling a shopper to leave and today I saw the same manager who yelled at an employee previously , be extremely rude another employee (young employee) They are racist to colored people as well. Tonight there was only one (1) cashier on for the entire store (@ around 6pm); even then he couldn't be troubled putting the bags into the cart 18 inches away. There clearly was no manager to be found, no leadership or organization, just trouble shooting the self checkout lanes. Which by the way, are my purchases going to be discounted if I do the work for you? Target is now simply one of many retail outlets. One which has forgotten whatever it knew about customer service. Ignore the tictocs that joke about dressing up to go to Target. Target is nothing more than another version of Walmart, so keep your sweats an ratty tshirt on... just expect higher prices. I looked everywhere and I asked two employees and both sent me off on a wild goose chase. I ended up leaving the store; I got tired of searching everywhere and finding nothing. This is not my usual Target and I am shocked. Bathrooms were a complete mess. Store was chaotic looking. Then I get to checkout and the checker with short dark hair wouldn't greet me or look at me. I do know it is a holidays and obviously there are a lot of other people out shopping during the holidays trying to buy Christmas gifts and other things for their families. Trust me I understand that. Okay first of all... this target is very well stocked and is very well taken care of. I'm happy to see there were also employees near by to answer questions if needed. We were greeted upon entering and offered a clean basket. We were also asked twice while shopping by two different employees if we needed help. Thought I would use the online system to try to do a pick up order thinking that would be convenient for everyone involved. Placed an order for a mouse that I needed for my computer and a refill of some shower spray for shits and giggles. Received an email telling me that my order was being processed and one follow up telling me that my order was ready. When I entered it into the app it said they were two left in the store, and I want to suggest a replacement just in case which I did not. That's all I received. I showed up at the store to be told the mouse was not available so they'll be refunding it. I told the gentleman that I was not told that and he said yes it does in the app and proceeded to show me that it showed "canceled" in the app. Absolute bullshit will never be ordering from target again. This particular store on Talking Stick smells terrible and everything in it smells terrible. We purchased linens and towels that had such a bad scent in them that it would not wash out. I tried washing the linens 5 times with different products to get rid of smell and nothing worked. It was so bad that we had to throw out all the linens. The same thing happened with some towels we purchased. Yesterday I had ice cream delivered. The first thing I noticed is that the ice cream containers smelled of the same scent!! The smell is so awful that I had to throw out all the ice cream. We have now wasted hundreds of dollars in this store because these items had to be thrown out. I could not even risk putting these items in my car to return them in case they contaminated my car. I will NEVER purchase anything from this Target on Talking Stick again. This kind of smell is a VOC (volatile organic compound) and not only is it dangerous but once it gets into your home it will contaminate everything and you won't be able to get it out. I have not encountered this issue in other Target stores so I don't know how this store got contaminated but beware. If you have any kind of sensitivity to scents then stay away. If you don't want to get sick in the long term from VOC's, then stay away! read more

I usually enjoy shopping at Target. Some are nicer than others, but the racial profiling with one particular employee at this location is no joke. I typically visit Target every other weekend or so for a handful of everyday items, and it's always fun to peak around at the random items Target has to offer. I've lived in Scottsdale for years, and this location itself is very clean and has a huge parking lot. The only issue I've ever had here is by an older male named Harold who mans the self-checkout area. Every single time I've shopped here and used self-checkout, he always makes a point of standing directly behind me (I can see him watching me in the camera), with his arms folded and eyes glued to my screen. When I entered the store today, I glanced over and he immediately saw me and literally glared at me directly until I was out of view. I'm not quick to pull the race card, but it's honestly the most bizarre thing. I've never run into this issue with any other employee in the store. read more

We came here the other night to roam and return a few things, when we were at customer service returning the person who was helping us seemed to be a little annoyed with her shift. The shift manager, I'm assuming, kept speaking to her and telling her tasks to do, as she was helping us. She seemed to handle it fine, was able to get us on our way quickly. We roamed the store for wine but forgot that this location does not have alcohol due to being on he Indian Reservation, which just led us to roam in general. The store seemed to be shopped through since there was not much merchandise available and the walls were pretty empty. Overall the store was clean and most of the staff was friendly. Would recommend if you're in the area to roam, but wouldn't recommend if you're looking for something specific- unless you checked the Target app for if it's in stock. read more

Zero stars! I am very disappointed with the service at check out. Went to a lane with light on. Got there, didn't see anyone so I looked up and light was indeed on. I looked and he was either on break or talking to someone and I started putting my 2 of my 5 items on the belt. He looks at me and turns off the light. I look at my items and just put them back in my cart and as I am doing this, this idiot cashier decides to let me know he was never open anyways and steps away but is still just standing around. How disrespectful and how rude! I tried to let it go but this behavior is stuck in my head hence this yelp review. I went to the Target on Talking Stick and I had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER... well ... my day went from an F to an A because of my new BFF EDDIE! I was looking for a VERY SPECIFIC curtain panel. I had 3 panels and just needed oNe more! I was in frozen foods and happened upon EDDIE! WOW. He not only scanned my one curtain panel....he went ALL THE WAY to the back from frozen foods ...(at least a mile) and just when I was losing hope about the curtain panel and settling on a Lean Cuisine..guess who appeared? ??? The self checkout area is quite handy and I liked the $1 or should I say $3-$5 section. It was pretty well stocked.
