I had the best experience ever. Rosalyn in customer service had me with smiles from the start. She was amazing. Love how clean it is here, and unless you come the day after or immediately after they've restocked - the store will be out of plenty of what you need. Lately the cashiers ahve been okay, but usually, some of the cashiers and sales people out on the floor are pretty rude or out of it in general. The toy dept (electronics/dvds) section is fine and the staff that work in that area are pretty knowledgable but can hardly ever be found when you need them. Usually you've gotta wait forever. I bought an iPod there but the guy was such a little bitchy old lady! I guess that happens when you deal with the general public tho, so he's forgiven. read more

I like Target. A lot. But this one is just mediocre to me. Don't get me wrong, I've been going to this one for years, but since the one on Capitol and Mckee opened some years ago, I usually go to that one. Or the one on Coleman. I feel like this Target is smaller and has less to offer. God I love Target! All Targets are cool, but this one is theeee best. (Maybe I'm a little bias because this one is literally down the street from my house? lol). Anywho... Reasons why I LOVE this Target: - Clean and organized - Parking is cool (I've been to other Targets where I've had to park and walk very far lol; I'm pretty lazy) - Every worker I've encountered here has been helpful and very kind (The ones at the registers especially- super friendly) - Lines are never crazy long - Not ghetto And last but not least, because of Yvette (or Yveth?). I believe she is a team leader or supervisor. Super helpful and super friendly! I made a mistake today and assumed to have had more on my gift card than shown at the register. After addressing my issue to her, she took the time out to investigate the issue, pull up my record without me having the receipt, and explain to me what had happened. And even though it was a misunderstanding on MY part, she dealt with this problem from beginning to end with a smile on and with a great attitude! Love this Target! ... Spoke to some lady from Guest Services this morning between 930-1000am for a merchandise locate. She was able to find 5 candies for me Item #055081347. She then said that it will be on hold for me in the Electronics Department until closing time. I called the Electronics Department at around 8pm and the guy said the candies weren't there and to call Guest Services because it may have been moved. So I called Guest Services and asked if the items were still there for me to pick up. She looked and did a search but they couldn't find it. This Target is closest to my house so I come here all of the time. San Jose no longer distributes plastic bags which is a very good thing. People who are not from around here do not know this though. Today my mom was at Target and this young women was in line in front of here and did not know this rule. When the cashier was done ringing her up, he did not ask her if she wanted a bag or inform her of the new regulations. This women was stuck not knowing what to do and the cashier remained oblivious to the situation as he began to ring up my mom. He did not ask her if she wanted to purchase a bag and she was left to struggle out of the store with her purchases. Though my mother had a good experience here, this women did not. I have never had a problem at this Target before until today. Usually, the cashiers are good about making sure that people have bags but today was obviously not the case. I know that these rules have been in place for a while now, but people should still be asked if they have or need a bag because these rules are not the same everywhere. read more

This is my favorite Target in San Jose near border of Milpitas because it isnt always crowed. I typical go here to just browser around the store and looking for any latest toys for the nephews. The food is a little expensive compared to Cosco. It is target so I dont know how I can give them any negative reviews for now. The store is great in a good locale but the employees have got to smoke their cigarettes in a different location. Nothing against smokers but you got kids, elders and preggers walking in and the smoke gets blown from the north and the door is just a few feet from there and i feel sorry for customers that don't smoke to inhale second hand smoke. This target is in a convenient spot right off 680, on the boarder of Milpitas and San Jose. Just recently moved to the area and although the shopping center was a little sketchy the target was clean and up to par. The store had the typical lay out with clothes, groceries, home goods, electronic s, etc. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. I'd continue to shop here! read more

This Target is not as big as the other ones around that opened up in SJ and not as new, but it's the one that I grew up going to. I love coming to this particular target, because I know where everything is located and can get in n out if I'm on a mission to get particular items. On top of that, who doesn't love a one stop shop? Toiletries, office supplies, snacks, garden, electronics, books, toys, you name it, you got it! Well, almost. The aisles are big (this is one reason why I prefer Target over Wal Mart any day), the wait time in lines are never long, it's not ghetto (compared to some other places), but sometimes items are not always stocked. Especially if they are on sale. If you can't find something here, don't fret there is a Walgreens in the same plaza and an Asian grocery store too! That's why I miss this Target so much compared to no Targets in SF and 3 Targets within a radius in south city, colma, and daly city, but all are always packed. I'm done with this target and possibly any target at that. My daughter had a high fever and I needed a fever reducer fast. I tried 711 but they were all out, and our local drug store is not 24hrs. The Morrill target is right across the street from me and I saw that they were open for black Friday. I knew they would be packed but I figured they would be considerate of a sick child. I was VERY wrong. It seems to me all they care about is profit because I was denied to step infront of there enormous line even though I explained my daughter was ill and all I needed was a fever reducer. I could care less about all there sales that were going on, I just wanted to help my daughter and I think any caring mother would have done the same. My poor baby had to wait because I had to drive across town to a 24hr walgreens. Now walgreens will be getting a 5 star review from because they were very helpful when I got there. I love Target, I always have. I go to this one because its the closest to home. This Target is not so bad, I wish they opened a Starbucks like the Holger Way location..then it would be perfect! They just opened a grocery section up..which totally rocks because I can find a ton of different snacks for such cheap prices...(Wal*mart is probably a bit cheaper..but it beats the drive, looking for parking, and the excessive long lines!) Anyways, I'm amazed to find Target selling alcohol. Really? I don't drink as much anymore but its nice to see they sell it. My mom and I just came by here tonight and they had their after Christmas sale stuff going on.. I love finding great deals..too bad we didn't come here the day right after Christmas, but regardless we still had a cart full of stuff..Christmas cards ranging from .50 -1.75!! Christmas tags-.25 and wrapping paper .65 cents total score!! They ran out of all the character wrapper but no worries I don't mind picking up some next year..but items were so cheap..I also love their selection of frames, house decors, clothing, shoes, pjs, and childrens wear!! They are cute yet cheap! Really tho whats not to love about Target!? Another great thing are the short lines, whenever I come here they always have a ton of registers open..compared to walmart where it seems like I'm waiting forever to check out! This target is subpar compared to the many others in the city, but I was nearby when I had to grab a few things yesterday. I bought GT's Kombucha Gingerade from the refrigerator and when I went to drink it, I smelled something strange so I checked the best by date. Lo and behold, the expiration date was March 19, 2016. I love this place. I over did it with my Black Friday shopping thinking I won't be returning anything. However I got to the wrong sizes for my husband so I had to do some returns without receipt. Usually returns without receipts you never get the actual value you paid. And I didn't expect to however I really didn't want to return I just wanted to exchange. David was the manager on duty and and I requested to be helped by a manager after the customer service person wasn't able to to explain policies to me in a way that I understood. David not only took the time to explain everything to me but also looked up my items and helped me to find similar ones that came out same sale price as I would be getting back. I feel like my needs were taking care of above and beyond by David and I feel he is a excellent manager. Not only was David helping me out at customer service desk but while I was doing my shopping he was walking the floor and was there to help me with some price checking too. read more

i can spend all day in target. just not this one. lol this target is always kinda messy and parking is a bitch. when i was checking out.. the lady in front of me and the lady ringing her up were having a conversation. thats cool only if they didnt stop to look at each item that was being purchased to discuss it! over in the next aisle a customer with a full shopping cart was done before the lady in front of me with just a basket full of things. i took my stuff and went to a different register and my original one still wasnt done. one good thing about this location is that they seem to have more of the clearance items than other locations. i wish they would get rid of those people who sit outside and ask for donations. greeting me with "hey wsup girl" is not gonna make me want to give u money. read more

I have been going to this Target for what seems like years and years. The layout of this Target is good. Unlike some stores, they don't change the layout too much over the years. So everything is easy to find. The prices are good for all products. Food items like cheese and yogurt. Batteries, Household items like detergents, etc. The lines are never too long. Love the addition of Starbucks (get your shopping done and have a coffee on your way out, especially on a rainy day). I just wish they would add a bakery section. read more

this is based on PRISCILLA!! she is absolutely terrible! She will treat you like dirt if she notices you have any coupons. I had a few coupons I wanted to use today and was being helped by the cashier. Priscilla noticed I had coupons, and came right over and started to scrutinize every coupon I had.She accused me of using a coupon that was not even mine and even made the cashier show her on the register that it was not even mine. She said to the other cashier she is going to try to get all this free and I'm not going to allow it. she threw one of my coupons away and that was the last straw.. I told her to give me back my coupons and i left.I called the corporate office and based on the reviews her name is mentioned more than once on this website for her behavior. Target accepts coupons and she refused to even scan them... Based on my experience I want to go above the regional manager because,, they have not done anything.. Me and Target are the best of pals. This location isn't the best/my favorite but hey, it's the closest one to home. Every time I come here, I leave with a smile with all my goodies and a slight twinge of guilt for having spent my earnings on an extra bit of this, one more box of that.. usually it's not too jam packed, so I'm able to come in and out without too much frustration. The Targets I've been to (this one is no exception) excel in their organization/layout, and I have never failed to spot an employee re-stocking, helping out a customer, and/or placing items in their rightful place. Most are friendly and willing to lend a hand, which makes the experience that much more pleasurable. Prices...sometimes when they have sales/online coupons, it gives WalMart a run for its money. Like the Giant (I think) brand blueberries during certain times of the summer. Great tasting too. My top products also include ELF makeup ranging from $1-$3 and the ~$1 oat revolution 5 packets oatmeal in Strawberries&Cream to name a few. Nice bargains! Other than that, it's not too bad on the wallet. Great selection to boot - they have everything in stock that I could possibly need to survive. Loving the concept of the cafe - they have everything from popcorn to pretzels to salads that are quite alluring. Clever move, seeing as how shopping can make people like myself even hungrier.. I like. One little ding - return policy is a nincompoop sometimes. Some don't ask questions and give you refunds in an instant, but others can be stricter. I used to come to this location when I was younger but don't frequent it as much since there is one closer to me. Their stock isn't the best but at least the store isn't messy, or at least the times I've been there recently. Now as far as customer service goes, most of the employees I've encountered we're nice but yesterday during checkout, I had 3 target web coupons that I wanted to use and the cashier had to call his manager Pricilla over cause it wouldn't go through which was fine with me but from the moment she got there, she was completely rude to me and said that I couldn't use the coupons even though I got them from the target website. I asked her why and all she said was that they weren't valid, giving me an attitude asking which items do I want then and just rushed me. I know how retail can be dealing with customers that don't follow rules or try to get over on you with something on sale or what ever, I've been there since I used to work in retail but I was in compliance with the coupon limitations and guidelines. This manager needs training on customer service and should read their coupon policy. read more

This is normally my go-to Target because it's close by and I know where everything in the store is. It can get busy at times but the lines are usually manageable and go pretty quickly. However, the last time I was in, there were only maybe 4 lanes open and each line was equally long. Of course I had to choose the line where a customer was having an issue. I didn't mind waiting, mostly because I didn't have a choice. When I finally got to the front, the cashier questioned me on a coupon that I received from Target in the mail. She dug around my shopping bag that she just filled until she found the applicable item. I was already tired of being in line for so long and didn't understand why she was claiming the coupon doesn't apply when she hasn't even scanned it yet. I pointed out that she could scan it and the register would confirm whether the coupon works or not, and it did. That kinda made my recent visit there unpleasant. This is the target I was born into. I have been with this target my whole life and I can say that though it isn't my favorite target, it completes the job. I am pretty much at target at least once but mostly 2-3 times a week. I have an addiction here that involves just roaming around and grabbing the coolest thing I can find. I would say a big portion of my paycheck goes to target co. and I am honestly fine with that. Target has some good stuff. Half my clothes are from target. Where else can I find watermelon oreos and fill up on my weekly keurig run? Target is the best, especially when you find that holy item with a red sticker on it. WORST TARGET! I purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter ~ wrong size.. So, I had the receipt however the tags from the shoes were missing... I was told by the rude boy working @ the register that I could not return the shoes being I had already returned them! Why would I be there then? So, first he said I returned them to one store, then another. I explained to him that no, I never returned them ~ I had bought two pairs of shoes the same day but never returned any. He was able to confirm the shoe came from Target then said he would only give me $3.00 for the shoes! So, I aksed if I could exchange them for the right size, afterall that is what I was trying to accomplish. Impossible! He called the store manager at my request and pulled her asside saying I had already returned the shoes. She then formed her own oppinion and said the same to me. OK... I had my receipt, with in the guideline of returns and still impossible. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS AT THIS STORE. My suggestion is... SHOP AT WALMART. Friendly staff, caring, never hassles. I love Targets merchandise but they are so difficult when it comes to returns. Also, do not sign up for registries.. Their was this cashier Yumi Young she was an extremely great help she showed me where my items i wanted to purchase thanks to her i had an unforgettable dinner with soe people that took me in i am homeless man trying to get back on my feet thankyou so much yumi for listening to my story and asking how my day was no one really does that no more it feels good for someone to notice.
