I have shopped regularly at Target and found a good selection and pretty reasonable experience with support and checkout. We just moved to this area, and have to say our local Target is bottom of the barrel. The selection is pretty well picked over, with some shelves empty or a fraction of the normal product or choices. The food items we kept having to check the dates - for instance, the potato salad was to be consumed by the next day! And the checkout was unreal. There were only two lanes in the entire store open, with probably over 10 customers waiting. I thought not too bad, only 4 people in front of us - but I was soooo wrong. The cashier was moving in slow motion and took forever, constantly confused and trying to figure out how to scan items. And we were in the faster line, the young lady working the other lane ran into trouble and was still waiting 10 min later when we left for a manager to fix her register. Next time we will drive to another Target location, couldn't be worse than this one. read more

Customer service here sucks! I am sooo disappointed here. Right at this moment - I've been waiting for more than half an hour to make a purchase in their Electronics department. Why? Because they only have ONE Tech Mobile personnel who can answer even the most simple question like - is the product available? No answer! This is my local Target and I come here to avoid going to Walmart. Unfortunately I feel that things are slipping. Not enough cashiers and some of the groceries I came for were not stocked. Also the bike racks being near the shopping carts is not ideal. On the flip side when they have sales on Lego, they are comparable or better than Amazon. One thing that is not the fault of Target is the homeless in this area. They have pretty much taken over a small part of the parking lot near the street. This place is my guilty pleasure. I love shopping for cute food socks here. As well as my shampoo and conditioner keratin by hask, they usually have them instock. As for my aveeno daily face scrub I wait for them to go on sale because sometimes they have a really good deal and an additional offer. However, my face wash is not always in stock, can't blame them when it's really common. As for the organization target receives an A-. The staff here are usually friendly, even at the self check out. One time, one of the employees informed me I still had a tag on the flannel I was wearing, ugh that was embarrassing but if it weren't for her I would've gone the whole day wearing it. read more

This Target is only not-remodeled one I've been to in the South Bay Area, so that sucks, I like the new grey & customer focused vibe. However, my overall experience was exceptional. They don't have a lot of carts inside, but outside to the right they have rows and rows. Today I was shopping for small household items & found everything I was looking for(except one major thing). A employee, I think her name was Gemma (sorry if I got that wrong) she helped me so very much. I was looking for the market pantry 16oz-24 pack water bottles, because these water bottles are the only water bottles my family drinks and unfortunately this store DIDNT have any. Just a huge Home Depot cart full of other water bottles blocking where they should go. She apologized for the inconvenience, checked via her gun & even offered to check another target location. This on had a nice furniture selection and had the lamp i was looking for on sale. The store is clean and organized. I went in today to purchase an iPhone 7 plus. The tech for the iPhone department was extremely rude and unfriendly. If you don't want to be here pick another job. His name is Richard and he needs a lesson on customer service. Whoever hired him missed that part of the interview where customer appreciation is important to the success of this facility. I have been shopping here for 18 years. For most part it's been a good experience. Since they upgraded it a few years back to include grocery, it became my go to store for one-stop shopping. But recently they have lost majority of my business if not all. I was purchasing an electric kettle using the self checkout and it just wouldn't fit the shopping bag. So after scanning the item, I had to place it on the floor next to me. Then a Target employee approached me and asked me what it was doing there. I said I put it there because it wouldn't fit in my bag. She then asked me whether I had paid for it. I said yes. She asked to see my receipt. I said I don't have my receipt yet since I was still in the process of checking out. I assured her I had already scanned it so it would be paid for but she insisted on seeing my receipt before letting me leave the store. I can't believe she had to audacity to insinuate that I was trying to steal a cheap electric kettle when I had given them thousands and thousands of dollars of business over 18 years. I will now buy most of my stuffs from Amazon. No one there ever accused me for stealing. read more

I have always been a big fan of Target. As a matter of fact I've been going to Target my whole life, but sadly to say I won't be going to this Target ever again! They have the worst customer service and their employees seem not to care about their shoppers. They don't put many cashiers and to hire less employees they put a self check out. It takes forever to use one and it is super sensitive. Not only that they have an employee watching you like you're a criminal to make sure you do everything correctly and when you mess up they go up to you and treat you like you're about to steal their merchandise. If they see someone mess up they should help you not interrogate you. I don't understand why they don't just hire more cashiers. Even the people they hire to stock things don't do a good job. They leave endless piles of boxes everywhere and make it hard to go around the store. They should seriously hire better employees! read more

i've spent many an hour wandering the auto, home office, then electronics area of this target waiting for my wife while she went shopping. i can't blame her, she loves finding a great deal. why would i take that away from her? as many newlyweds / new couples eventually learn, what keeps the wife happy keeps the husband happy. one thing i like about this target is the food area they have there. sad, but true. i ordered a hot dog there on a wheat bun. the girl there, who was cute, said 'we serve wheat buns?' 'um.. yeah, it's on the menu, but it's cool if you don't have it (why frustrate cute girls, you know?) There are only 2 targets that I mostly go to and this one is one of them, located closely to le bf house it is our go to spot for all of our needs. This location is a bit smaller but still sufficient enough on their stock of products we tend to use up. It is definitely a convenient part of the neighborhood to be around and surrounded by everything you need as well. You can never get sick of Target, its always fun to even just stroll in there especially if a holiday is coming, they have such a fun spread out in the back with the holiday treats and decorations. I go to Target quite often as it is more convenient than going to Walmart. I find the prices are a bit more expensive than other places but I still shop here very often. I buy my groceries here and quite often for my lunches, I buy my stuff here to make for when I have school. Anything I need, I come here; whether it is for food, clothes, toys or electronics. I like how they have sales on video games as I can find the same video games here but on sale for roughly half the price or 3/4 of the price elsewhere. I come here quite often to also buy my phone cards. This place also carries fashionable clothes and quite often, on the sale racks, you'll be able to find good tshirts or sweaters for seventy percent off. As far as I am concerned, this is the place to go for anyone who lives in this area. read more

I've noticed a lot of stuff from this Target expires too close to date of purchase. A co-worker and I went to the store to grab some gift wraps and a few candy canes to add to cards, we told the cashier FRANCISCO to not throw the bags in the cart so harsh because the candy canes will break, he just shot a snooty look at us and KEPT THROWING them in there as if they are pillows! Hunched over, hating his job... this man did not show any regard to us and what we had told him. Previously, my friend had complained about him to his superior and obviously he has not made any adjustments. While walking throwout the store, I asked for help and no one knew where everything was, but just kept pointing into one direction, led us there then said "I don't know, your going to have find it somewhere on the other isles... its up there somewhere" Hell to the no! This Target location is highly disorganized. It's also a smaller location so don't expect to find everything you might be able to find at a larger store. Things I didn't like: dirty floors, poorly organized clothing section, stuff crammed everywhere... It felt more like a Walmart. I am a lover of Target. I go at least once a week for all of the bare essentials (and the essentials that you didn't know existed until you saw it at Target). This Target isn't as big as the one on Capital or Coleman, and isn't as stocked. I do like it though because it's never crowded and down the street from me. BAD service at Food kiosk. I usually enjoy getting snacks at Target because the price is so reasonable and they do that because they don't want you to leave the store for food, but to get a snack and continue shopping!! I love that convenience, but I was served by a very rude elderly woman today. I ordered nachos w cheese and asked for extra cheese. She said, with attitude, that extra cheese will cost you 53 cents, because they measure out the amount of cheese per order (I didn't see them measure anything...they basically scooped some cheese out of a big pot.). I so dislike it when people ruin your usually fun experience by being snotty. The other people around me just cringed when they heard her inane answer. Do you really want me to believe that they have an exact scoop measurement down to a science, so that they could detect when an extra scoop was misladled?? Are their managers so ANAL to weigh how much cheese was used and the # of bags of nachos sold? Could they even calculate the cheese to nachos ratio to detect an error? Should they give a crap about 53 cents of cheese??? when I just bought over $100 of toys and clothes from this store??? Shouldn't they care more about my shopping experience and keeping me as a customer? Aside from this awful experience at the food court, the other clerks I encountered in Target were very nice. Walked in to buy a laptop, already did my research and knew what I wanted. After speaking with three different employees I was unable to find an employee that was willing to help. Each of them replied that I would need to find someone with a key. Perhaps they thought I was a new employee? All three of these employees where in the electronics area and two of them seemed quite annoyed that I interrupted their personal conversation. These were the only three individuals in the electronics department. I try hard to support brick and mortar retailers as I'm not interested in helping Amazon take over the world.
