Stopped by to get a new microwave today to be honest I wasn't expecting a good visit because of the previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprise. Had interactions with three friendly and very helpful employees. Fitting room attendant was friendly and helpful on my dress and blouse fitting. Check out employees were very helpful with the pricing of my new microwave. Not sure where anyone could have a bad experience with this level of customer service. Went in on a Thursday morning early, 8:30 am. It was nice and quiet for the shopping part, but then came checkout. I had almost $100 worth of items. I walked up and down the multiple checkout lanes and saw not a single lane open. I finally met eyes with an employee who I assumed would open a checkout. I said, "Anyone working this morning? (hint hint) and he said, "No, they are all closed but the self serve lane is open." I said, "Can you self checkout wine?" He said, "yeah, I think so." So, I get in line with about five other customers. The woman in front of me had several items of clothes and was taking a long time to check out. The woman behind me had two little kids she was trying to wrangle as she served as a Target cashier. I checked with the employee who was roaming about and asked her if I was buying wine, could I do that through self check out (which you can't do at HEB. She said, yes, I just need to see an ID. THIS IS THE TIME TO OPEN A REGISTER! I worked retail for years and one of the things I was always taught was that you are not just a cashier, you are a representative of the company. There was no greeting, no brand enhancement, no customer service. I know it probably saves a few bucks to not have a cashier, but what it tells your customers is: 1. We don't care about you or your time. 2. You need to perform the duties of a cashier. 3. Order online from Amazon and it will come right to your house. As I walked to my car in the drizzle, I realized I hadn't rung up a comb. Oh well, I am not a professional cashier. I guess that is my pay. You may save $1 for not having a cashier, but you just lost a long time customer. read more

I cannot remember a time in a Walmart, McDonald's, and only a couple gas stations where the restroom has been so disgusting. While some will not go to target because of their policy on transgender restrooms, I will not be returning because of the disgusting bathroom. This is one of my favorite stores to shop, but this store in particular was very messy. Everything was totally disorganized. Please get it together Target it was totally unacceptable today to see how bad the store was. Not impressed I hope to return in a few weeks to find it more clean and organized. The employees at this target are so sweet and helpful and it's a great location with lots in stock , not too crowded either , so far my best experience was with an employee named Nisa , she was so sweet and helpful and I won't forget her hospitality. read more

The store has decent inventory but the nauseating scent of caramel corn when you enter the store lingers and makes it not worth the shopping experience. I've never been in a target with caramel corn and hoping to never find one again. read more

This is for guest service only! I worked target guest service for a year so I understand how it works. So when I bring an item in from my baby shower that was broken when I opened it I expect to get the whole would you like to return this or exchange it? Not your receipt is to old give me your id. Also no explanation of why she needs my idea, luckily for me I know why. I was like so you do have another? Her response was I would have no idea...strange since guest service is supposed to be able to look up all products for guests and if they can't you page the department instead of making a 9 month pregnant women walk around the store by herself while having painful contractions. I came last night 9/20/16 at 5:30ish she never gave her name and also had no name tag. She has curly blond hair and talks way to much. I'm sure somebody knows who that is. I don't know if anyone in Corporate reads these reviews but I really enjoyed my experience here yesterday. I got everything I needed in the store, and went to checkout with Cora, who asked me if I had the cartwheel app, which I did. She said she thought some of the sodas I was purchasing were in the cartwheel app. I proceeded to look through the app while she was scanning my items. She then informed me that you could scan products through the Cartwheel app. I consider myself a Target know-it-all, but learned something for sure! She was very helpful, sweet, and thanked me genuinely. It's not everyday you get excellent customer service from a cashier. Thanks Cora! read more

This was a great day going to Target. They had the items I needed that H-E-B unfortunately did not have (and has been out of stock for weeks). I looked up the items online and the website showed that Target carries them. I went early this morning and there was not a lot of people, and staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend coming here early before the crowds show up. read more

I've been looking for the email of the general manager of this store to no avail. So here it is. My Spanish- speaking elderly mother visited the Customer Service (CS) counter at Target Round Rock today and she was subjected to hostile treatment from the Anglo lady running CS today that approximates racism and discrimination. She went to pick up an order placed by my mother's military son with a receipt that clearly stated my mother's name as the person picking up the order. The CS lady refused to treat her with respect, screamed at her, and was beyond unprofessional hesitant to complete the delivery while my brother listened on the phone to that interaction. It is a shame that in this time and age, and during Christmas, Target would have such an unprofessional staff dealing with customers. I am a daily customer at Target in Pflugerville where I have always been treated w/ dignity. Round Rock should take note. What a disgrace of customer service! I am beyond repulsed by the racism displayed today. read more

I love this store...but I would like to be offered a shorter, narrower basket to push around. I am older and shorter now, and the big baskets are hard to maneuver. I know Target hopes I load it with a lot of stuff...hence the larger basket. But I would probably buy more with a smaller basket. read more

I'm not crazy about this store. The quality of clothing is CHEAP and always falls apart after 2 washes. They do not have a good return policy. It seems that whenever I had a return, they did their best to deflect having to take it back even with the receipt. Once I bought a $35 DVD. I couldn't even watch it 1 time because it was badly scratched. It was scratched badly right out of the case. I just wanted to exchange it for the same DVD, and the absolutely refused!! Their favorite excuse for not returning an item is that it's always YOUR own fault. I'm sorry, but that is just POOR customer service. That DVD was defective. I felt like they stole my money from me. I don't like to go in this store. Whenever I do buy something from here, I'm almost always disappointed. read more

I recently used your in store pickup to order an item and have it available to be picked up when I got to the store, order No. 903175603923. The purpose of this was the item is a high demand item that I knew would go quickly so having it ready by the time I got to the store increased my chances of getting the product. I received the email that the items were ready for pick up and headed to the store. When I got to store to pick up the items the Target Team member informed me he had to go get the items off the shelf. If this was the case I could have saved time by showing up at target as I did and went and found it on the shelf myself. As stated above, the whole point was so it would be ready when I got there. Why would I have someone go grab stuff off the shelf and wait? Naturally by this time all of the product had been purchased and I was rudely told you guys were out and there was nothing they could do. No attempt was made to locate the product at another store or offer help. The order was simply cancelled. So my question is what is the purpose of the in store pick up? Why would the product not be gathered prior to my arrival? And if the product that was confirmed as available and an email sent stating so, why was no help offered? Completely dumbfounded at the like of service, and the downright uselessness of the "in store pick up." If anything, having the attendant go grab the goods upon my arrival is actually taking more of my time, not saving it. read more

I went yesterday and I got a big thing of Charmin toilet paper and so I never gave them a bad review and so I went inline and I was struggling because I had to drag it and carry it and so I carried it and I got some trident gum and the guy told me the cost and he put the big thing of Charmin toilet paper at the end because he know that I'm struggling and so as I was getting it a old white lady with glasses and a gray short hair cut said "ma'am moved your stuff out of the way so I can put my stuff right there and get it checked out". and I told her "excuse me you don't talk to me like that". and so she had that look on her face and I said "forgive me because I don't like this phone and so forgive me". and I told the guy "forgive me because I don't like my cellphone and it was my mom because she is on the other side and I have a dentist appointment and it's across the street from y'all". and the guy kept telling me it's "ok". and so I told him "forgive me because I had dropped my phone and so I'm sorry about that and the guy knows "I'm saying "oh, my goodness". and I told the old lady"forgive me because I don't like my cellphone and I didn't mean too take up your time". and she didn't listen and I know the guy at the cashier was feeling that too because he knows that this old lady should never said that to me and she embarrassed herself in front of me and the guy at the cashier as I was putting my trident gum in my purse and getting the Charmin big thing of toilet paper at the end of the cashier and it's a"yes,the credit card swiped screen was dark and I couldn't see the price and when I left the top had open and these 2 black ladies saw me because I had to drag it and they were nice and one of them said "do you need a basket". and I told them "no ,that's ok I got it". and she said"here take my basket".and I said" no,that's I got it". the other black lady said "here take mines because you to out that in a basket and where did you get and there is anymore left". and I told her "I got this and it's all the way in the of and it's a lot left". and they said"ok". and I would like to say this because this old white lady is elderly and I wanna say this because this is a true meaning and I hope target that's in round rock see's this review because it's a" yes,I'm very young and anytime when an elderly person looks like that they get this feeling when they see young and they mean no harm and so I wanna say this because this is my first time and I never expect to hear that from anyone especially if you are an elderly person because I wanna say this because I were hurting and they were sore because I had too carry the big thing of Charmin toilet paper because I don't like what I'm seeing and I never heard of this virus and the worst thing I don't like is going to the dentist and getting tooth extracted and so we are stocked up on that and so if I ever go back to this target and if I see the same guy I would tell him that"I know you feel bad about what happen because I wanna tell you this because I have grandparents and I never disrespect them because they are elderly and this old white lady is elderly and I know she feels bad when it comes to seeing young people like me and I just wanna tell you that I never fuss and cause to disrespect elderly people when I'm out in public and my grandparents never disrespect young people when they go out in public and I never ever heard them say that to people especially if it's a young person and so I know that was rude and mean and I didn't expect that and so I just wanna tell you I'm not allowed to fuss and disrespect elderly people when I'm out in public because that is rude and disrespectful and so I'm not allowed to do that when I see elderly people that have Gray hair and so I'm not allowed to fuss and disrespect elderly people and I know that wasn't very nice and so I didn't talk to this old white lady this old white lady just blurt out for me to move out of way and my stuff so she can I generally LOVE Target, great selection, good prices. BUT this store is HORRIBLE!! They need to take a serious look at their management team and training. I was in there last night and they had only one regular cashier open. There was a 10 or less line open and then self check out. There were 2 line level employees and one supervisor just standing at the entrance to self check out. With only one cashier the line stared to build and then the cashier had an issue and had to call the supervisor over to help. The supervisor, knowing there was an issue at the only open register did not bother to call a back up cashier. After 10 minutes of them trying to fix whatever the customers issue was I finally had to go to one of the employees just standing in front of self check out and ask them to call for more cashiers. No back up cashiers came. After another another long wait the supervisor finished with the customers issue and then told the very person I asked to call for back up to open a register! Every time I go to this store it just seems to get worse. They obviously do not understand customer service. I will not go back to this store, I would rather drive farther to another Target than shop here again! read more

Horrible customer service. I needed to return an item with a receipt and they declined my return because it was purchased at another Target store. That type of policy is absolutely ridiculous. I asked to speak with the manager and some dude which looked like he just came off the street shows up shirt untucked and all stating that he is the store manager and that they have the right to refuse any return. This store is absolutely horrible and seems to be running without any sort of professional management. I still love Target as a company, its just this store that is horrible. read more

I've been to many Targets, but this one kicks out customers before closing time. All I needed was to grab a a case of water. However, as soon as I entered , I was forcefully told by a women named Monica, they were closing. It was 9:50pm. So, I left before they actually closed. To top it all off, Monica works for customer service. Well this women needs to reevaluate her position. I'm done with this company! I'll stick to Wal-Mart, at least they support our military. read more

Every time I go to this Target there is an issue. Today I finally had to write about it. We walk in at 4pm on a Monday afternoon and there is not one shopping cart inside. I ask one of the cashiers if there is a free one, and she tells me to go outside to the parking lot and get one myself. A younger male employee overheard and interrupted and said he'd get one for me which was nice. I asked them when they would be starting the feed projection, and I got a blank stare. No one had any idea what I was asking about. I mean, the store they work at has been running these commercials all day and promoting it and the employees have no clue. There were about 15 people waiting to check out with two lane opens. I'll still go to this target for a run in and out trip since its close to where I live, but if I have to spend more than 10 minutes in there, I'll go to the one at great hills trails and 183. Let me start by saying I LOVE Target. My house could be an ad for Target. It is our main source for shopping. We have 2 Target cards and stop in probably 3 times a week. So when I leave this review saying that I HATE my experience at this target, that means a lot. This Target is ALWAYS nasty. The entry is always filthy with trash and food and who knows what else, the carts always have trash in them, the floors are sticky, the isles always have items left all over the floor. The clerks are nowhere to be found when you need help, the cashiers don't really like their jobs because you typically get the "thank you for your money, take your items and get out" attitude from them. There is a very nice CLEAN Target a few miles in the other direction and I gladly pay the increased toll prices to go to the clean Target vs the dirty Target. Get your store cleaned up and we might start shopping here again. read more

So I asked one of the employees for some help and I asked where are the laundry baskets and he directed me to trash cans....Told me this is what he uses for laundry and tried telling me this is what I was looking for but his excuse was he was new to the store. Avoid this place. Dishonest crews! I ordered a vacuum cleaner online and chose to pick it up in this store. I drove 20 min to get there when I received an email saying that the item was ready to pickup. A Target crew brought the item and showed me and I realized that the box was not sealed. It was an OPEN BOX and USED. Couldn't believe it. I operated it and I immediately smelled dust. The Target crew said it is a new item. He asked me whether I will take it or cancel the order. I love target...but am not fond of this store. Last week we went in to get a special Halloween candy only sold at Target...it was in their weekly ad. My boyfriend had gone in Monday but was told they didn't have it. He went in with me 3 days later on Thursday...when I started to walk up to an associate he warned me that she would be of no use since that was who told him on Monday the candy wasn't there. After she repeated numerous times "I don't know" and looked clueless I said I was going up front for help. I went to the customer service desk and again informed a different associate the candy was in the ad but no where to be found. This associate went above and beyond...she got on the walki talki and went looking up and down the isles with me. Unfortunately we couldn't find them. Eventually....10 minutes later her manager came and joined us in looking for them. It almost seemed like the manager had given up so my boyfriend flat out asked her to look in the back. FINALLY!!! Another 10minutes later she brings me the candy. She didn't bother to bring all of it...just enough for me. While I appreciate the customer service rep I rate this store poorly! When I was checking out, the cashier had informed me that other customers had been looking for this candy as well. Why put something in your ad but not have it on the shelves??? And why not stock the shelves after a customer has pointed out the error??? read more
