iPad and lots of change
Angelica P.

I wanted to leave a shout out for Gabriel in electronics. My daughter has been saving $ for months to get an iPad. Today was the day! She brought in all her money from her piggy bank. Gabriel could of been annoyed counting it all but he was so encouraging! He hyped her up sharing his own stories of working hard to save up for things as a kid. He made this experience so wonderful. Wanted to make sure he gets the recognition he deserves!

Love me some Target and I know you do too... Came here after a very wasted trip to the nearby mall. We are in need of some wireless headphones for our 3yo and literally came up empty handed every where we went. Not sure why we didn't initially come to Target first, but I think it was me selfishly hoping for a bit of my own personal shopping. Lmao. Little good that decision did for me right?? So... while this target did have kid's headphones, the ones specifically for my daughter's age range was really limited and there were only 2 colors to choose from. I didn't walk away with anything because I'm super picky and am looking for a specific color but TARGET [in general] IS THE ISSSSSH!! 4/5 stars. They almost always carry the items I need!

I normally go to the Target in Lincoln since it's down the street from my house, but decided to come to the Roseville one this time . This target is obviously huge!! They have a big selections of groceries! They have a really big Ultra with lots of make up. It gets more busy I think everyone likes to come to this one more since it's a bigger store and has more things. My son wanted some headphones, so we went to the electronics. We had some questions Kayden helped us with all of our concerns . He was very friendly and helpful. We had a few other things we had to check out in the front, but since we bought the headphones at the electronic section he let us pay for the rest of our stuff there we didn't have to go pay in the front. Overall, this is a pretty cool Target . It's huge compared to a lot of Targets I have been to. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area to check out the cool things they have here!!

3/4 Sleeve Smocked Flannel Maternity Dress in Brown Plaid by Ingrid and Isabel for just $34!

Last week I stopped in with my hubby "aka" shopping buddy to peruse their maternity section for some underbelly jeans after seeing they were on stock in store. Sure enough they were and the woman working the dressing room was very helpful as well! Before y'all get excited I'm not pregnant, but I'm a mom and struggle with bloat and after having my now 5 year old, my preference is still maternity. I purchased the Under Belly Bootcut Maternity Jeans by Ingrid and Isabel for just $29.99 and these are true to size! I purchased a size 6/28 & 8/29 and they are the most comfortable pair of jeans I ever had thanks to the stretchy waistband! Not to mention they look sexy on! Anyone else prefer maternity jeans over regular jeans? I also purchased a 3/4 Sleeve Smocked Flannel Maternity Dress in Brown Plaid by Ingrid and Isabel for just $34, what a cute fall color, I love plaid! I would highly recommend this location, lol now is the time Target shopaholics to stock up now for fall before they sell out! I'll definitely be back to shop till I drop, especially for the holidays! SYOY!

This is the card I purchased not knowing it was trashed.

We recently purchased a gift card at this location. When we arrived home and went through the cards we found one of the cards appeared to have been used. My expectation was that I should not have had to check every card (we spent over $200 purchasing gift cards). Since we bought the gift at Target we took it back to the Target where we purchased it. Their customer service explained there was an 800 on the back of the card and we needed to call them for resolution. And not very gently I might add. My expectation was I bought the card at a target, and gave target my money and I should not have to call a third party to resolve it. I Tried reading to card to contact the third party, but the card is unreadable. To be clear, I have a card I can't use, and I am out the money I spent on it. And target couldn't care less. Needless to say, we will not frequent target at this point.

This Target is huge! Lol. It's like if Target had a supercenter version of itself. Very spacious and, I'll admit, a little extra. The aisle layout of this Target is very different (and a little questionable) compared to that of Targets that I've been to (body wash aisle is in the corner of the store while shampoos/conditioners are in a weird center aisle). Inventory-wise, it's actually worse than at other Targets; several shelves with price tags were completely empty. Some customers weren't wearing masks at all while some others, including staff, weren't wearing their masks properly (though this Target is in Placer county where there isn't much of a mask mandate). Overall a nice-looking and large Target. Just make sure to check online first to see that the things that you want from here are actually in stock!

Totally impressed with the Drive Up service this week! We placed two orders on the Target app the night before. On Saturday morning, got the emails that both orders were ready. As we pulled into the parking lot, I clicked the "I'm Here" button (where you put in the color and make of your car, as well as what space you're parked in) and we were getting ready to wait for the employee to bring out the bags. Before the car even had a chance to cool down, the Target employee was already out the door with our bags. Very friendly, very helpful. Such a smooth process. As we were leaving, my husband said, "Wow, that was fast." Highly recommend this Target and especially their Drive Up service!

This has a well kept location. The grocery is a tad small but you can get most of what you need.

It's in a fantastic location in Old Town Auburn -- close to parking and other cute shops and good restaurants. It's within 5 minutes of 80. The owners are very knowledgeable, friendly and customer focused. You always get a greeting, an offer of help and great advice on painting projects or gift items fresh from a buying trip. And it's also a Fusion mineral paint distributor with a great selection in-store, plus the option to purchase online. To help you learn how to get the most from your furniture paint purchase, they offer classes in the back of their beautiful store. I took a Painting 101 class with Mary, the owner, and she was a terrific teacher. Here's what I loved: FAIR PRICING: I had been looking for a class and saw them offered at $65 to $95, so her fee of $75 was very competitive. The difference was that I could use the class to paint my own item, if I liked, rather than just try techniques on wood boards, as some do. All supplies were included in the 3-hour class. APPROACHABLE STYLE: Answered questions patiently and thoroughly, demonstrated techniques and tricks, and offered advice while STILL asking your personal project preferences on color, wax use, distress level, etc. She was generous with her time and expertise -- which just makes me want to give her more business. This is exactly the kind of local, small business that you want to see thrive. It's a go-to stop for me -- whether shopping for a gift or doing a painting project.

The staff has always been friendly and ready to help us with any questions we have, and they even have shopping carts at the front of the store! For those who have never been to an antique store before, it's set up into dozens of little square 3-walled rooms. Each one of those sections is usually ran by a vendor who is setting up their own stuff on consignment, and in charge of their own pricing. Because of that, prices are very volatile here. There was a vendor who was selling antiques for only a few dollars because he had so much and just wanted it all gone, while others are selling things for way more than they're worth (I'm looking at you vinyl vendors). I used to appraise records and one common mistake people make is they look up the record and assume the expensive one they see online is the exact same one they have. Only issue is that the value is determined by the pressing and they're looking at a rare one, not the one they have. There was a Star Wars record that goes for $200 online if it was original pressing. In Antique Trove is was being sold for $200, but it wasn't the original pressing and was warped. Nobody is paying for that. So prices can be dirt cheap or insanely overpriced depending on who the vendor is. What I can say about the inventory though is that all these vendors have such different products. Some are only selling vinyl, others had antique guns, furniture, masks, lamps, clothes, etc. It's easy to find something you'll enjoy. It does take a while to be rung up, because they have to manually input everything and record which vendor the items you bought are from, but the staff is friendly while doing it. Just don't expect them ring you up as fast as other retailers. My biggest gripe with antique trove is the back of it. Outside is a big backyard full of products that just feel...neglected. We've found some cool stuff that is covered in webs that are months old. How do I know they're months old? It's because we come here every few months and the same webs are out there. It's always the same exact products out there with the exception of a couple selling or a few more being added, but 99% of the inventory stays the same outside. It feels like a graveyard where those products go to die. I always feel sad walking around out there. On the bright side though, there is a vending machine right next to the door and I always grab myself a snack because I'm starving with how many hours we spend inside. The 3 giants of antique and thrift stores nearby would be Midway Antiques, Antique Trove, and Stardust Vintage Emporium. With Midway having closed a couple years ago, Antique Trove and Stardust are the two I visit the most. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Each space is curated by different sellers and has its own vibe and selection of items. Depending on what you're looking for you'll be able to browse and search through the spaces for hidden treasures. The prices range and you'll be able to find some similar pieces from different sellers at different prices. There's even an outdoor area that has signs, decorations and more. I ended up finding some beanie babies that I used to have as a kid for a good price and went home with three of them. While we were browsing the staff kept offering us baskets to carry the items we found, although some of the spaces were very close quarters and I decided it was easier to carry items instead of using the basket. You'll want to be careful not to knock anything down and to take a good look in each area so you don't miss anything.

We get the call it's ready and my husband went in to pick it up and comes out looking horrified. Granted he should have said something more while in there but they messily slopped paint swatches all over the top on the door. They never once told us this would happen which I would have said no to regardless. I called back to ask them about this and how unhappy I was and all they could say was this is "standard practice" over and over. And then went on to tell me I would need to use paint thinner to remove the paint or should just repaint the door with the paint I picked up! How is this even remotely professional, let alone ok? In my…read moreopinion, owner/manager Lance Gresko demonstrated a striking lack of integrity, patience, basic managerial competence, and even the most elementary math skills. I came in to make a simple Thanksgiving purchase and exchanged one mistaken item for another. The exchange was rung up incorrectly at a higher price than it should have been. After checking my receipt in my car, I went back inside to get the issue resolved. The assistant manager admitted he couldn't figure out the discrepancy, so I requested to speak with the actual manager. Lance approached me with a dismissive, almost irritated attitude, insisting "his computer could not be wrong." Despite me calmly showing him the numbers on a calculator--numbers anyone could verify--he repeatedly refused to walk through the transaction or check the math in a logical way. I entered the same simple calculation in front of him three times, yet it still didn't click. Only after persistent asking did he reluctantly agree to ring the item through as a pretend sale, and sure enough, the numbers on his own system matched what I had been trying to show him from the beginning. He then disappeared to the back again, presumably to re-check what was now undeniably obvious. After over 30 minutes of back-and-forth, he finally admitted he and the system had been wrong the entire time. At one point, while we were literally looking at the numbers on his screen, he even threatened to kick me out simply because I said, "Can we just let logic prevail that $29.xx minus a $10 credit is $19.xx?" Once the refund was finally issued, I asked for his name and the corporate number. Instead of providing them, he told me he was the owner and ordered me to leave the store. As I walked out, an employee collecting carts yelled an insult at me referencing my long hair--a level of childishness I honestly found more pathetic than offensive. He said "nice pony tail, faggot." In my personal experience, Lance showed a profound lack of professionalism and integrity, coupled with an inability to handle a basic customer-service scenario or perform simple arithmetic. This visit made it clear to me that customer concerns are treated as annoyances rather than responsibilities. I won't be returning. Right after I posted this on Google reviews they made a fake review. Expect the same here.
