This is a really nice target, very clean and well stocked, it doesn't look all run down like the ones near me in San Jose. What's nice about this location is that they have a CVS Pharmacy inside and for those wanting a coffee; you can sit down and enjoy a Starbucks. (See picture) At this location you can order things on line "like a grocery list" and the will pull everything for you and have it ready to pick up. Visiting from the PNW, I was blown away by just how HUGE this Target location is. It is probably double the size of a typical Target store in Portland. Not only is it bigger, it is far cleaner and far nicer. The parking lot was equally oversized, which made parking an enjoyable non-worry. Staff was remarkably helpful and friendly. This was consistently the case for each of the three visits I made during my visit to Roseville. read more

Target should train their staff better. Experienced unprofessional employee conduct while visiting this evening. While using the self-checkout, an employee approached and stated suspiciously that they needed to inspect the storage bin we were purchasing, citing security reasons. I had nothing against the check, and to help deescalate the suspicion, mentioned that I don't steal. After nothing showed up in the bin, the employee abruptly worsened their tone and voice, by stating they were actually checking for trash to prevent future issues for customers. They're emphasizing that actual trash other people threw in; the stuff people don't want is somehow a security risk, and needed to be addressed right away that evening. The excuse was a misplaced blame in a very non-professional way. It came across as more of an ego-driven exchange than a genuine concern for policy or customer experience; which made the interaction quite disturbing in nature. I'm considering submitting a formal complaint to Target about this employee's conduct, as it didn't reflect the professionalism I usually associate with the store. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the employee's name, but he was a male with blonde curly hair, looks like a discord mod that never went outside, about 5'7". On a positive note, the storage bin itself was at a good value, $10; I recommend it, but not the poor conduct. Don't recommend the employee at all. Be careful if any of y'all purchase storage bins so no one else gets falsely accused by this rude target employee. read more

I wanted to leave a shout out for Gabriel in electronics. My daughter has been saving $ for months to get an iPad. Today was the day! She brought in all her money from her piggy bank. Gabriel could of been annoyed counting it all but he was so encouraging! He hyped her up sharing his own stories of working hard to save up for things as a kid. He made this experience so wonderful. We are in need of some wireless headphones for our 3yo and literally came up empty handed every where we went. Not sure why we didn't initially come to Target first, but I think it was me selfishly hoping for a bit of my own personal shopping. Lmao. Little good that decision did for me right?? So... while this target did have kid's headphones, the ones specifically for my daughter's age range was really limited and there were only 2 colors to choose from. This has a well kept location. The grocery is a tad small but you can get most of what you need.

I normally go to the Target in Lincoln since it's down the street from my house, but decided to come to the Roseville one this time . This target is obviously huge!! They have a big selections of groceries! They have a really big Ultra with lots of make up. It gets more busy I think everyone likes to come to this one more since it's a bigger store and has more things. My son wanted some headphones, so we went to the electronics. We had some questions Kayden helped us with all of our concerns . He was very friendly and helpful. We had a few other things we had to check out in the front, but since we bought the headphones at the electronic section he let us pay for the rest of our stuff there we didn't have to go pay in the front. Overall, this is a pretty cool Target . It's huge compared to a lot of Targets I have been to. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area to check out the cool things they have here!! read more

Convenient location . Close to everything especially thunder valley. Went in this morning last minute due to some wardrobe malfunction, was able to get a decent shirt and even got my son a dragon ball z shirt for 19.99. Went to self check out so nothing special there. Last week I stopped in with my hubby "aka" shopping buddy to peruse their maternity section for some underbelly jeans after seeing they were on stock in store. Sure enough they were and the woman working the dressing room was very helpful as well! Before y'all get excited I'm not pregnant, but I'm a mom and struggle with bloat and after having my now 5 year old, my preference is still maternity. I purchased the Under Belly Bootcut Maternity Jeans by Ingrid and Isabel for just $29.99 and these are true to size! I purchased a size 6/28 & 8/29 and they are the most comfortable pair of jeans I ever had thanks to the stretchy waistband! Not to mention they look sexy on! We recently purchased a gift card at this location. When we arrived home and went through the cards we found one of the cards appeared to have been used. My expectation was that I should not have had to check every card (we spent over $200 purchasing gift cards). Since we bought the gift at Target we took it back to the Target where we purchased it. Their customer service explained there was an 800 on the back of the card and we needed to call them for resolution. And not very gently I might add. My expectation was I bought the card at a target, and gave target my money and I should not have to call a third party to resolve it. I Tried reading to card to contact the third party, but the card is unreadable. To be clear, I have a card I can't use, and I am out the money I spent on it. And target couldn't care less. This Target is huge! Lol. It's like if Target had a supercenter version of itself. Very spacious and, I'll admit, a little extra. The aisle layout of this Target is very different (and a little questionable) compared to that of Targets that I've been to (body wash aisle is in the corner of the store while shampoos/conditioners are in a weird center aisle). Inventory-wise, it's actually worse than at other Targets; several shelves with price tags were completely empty. Some customers weren't wearing masks at all while some others, including staff, weren't wearing their masks properly (though this Target is in Placer county where there isn't much of a mask mandate). Overall a nice-looking and large Target. Just make sure to check online first to see that the things that you want from here are actually in stock! read more

Totally impressed with the Drive Up service this week! We placed two orders on the Target app the night before. On Saturday morning, got the emails that both orders were ready. As we pulled into the parking lot, I clicked the "I'm Here" button (where you put in the color and make of your car, as well as what space you're parked in) and we were getting ready to wait for the employee to bring out the bags. Before the car even had a chance to cool down, the Target employee was already out the door with our bags. Very friendly, very helpful. Such a smooth process. I asked an employee where he could try on clothes and she advised that new store policy was for dressing rooms to be closed at 7 pm. She suggested my son find a low traffic area of the store to try on his items. Seems really odd to be closing dressing rooms at 7 when the store stays open until 11, and even more odd/disappointing to suggest a kid go change clothes in the aisles of the store. We bought some Pokemon cards from a wonderful young lady who told us we could take 4. My sister went to the same target 10 minutes later and a guy told her she could only have 1. I have only used the drive up pick up and I will say that it was one of the quickest drive ups I have ever experienced. My order was already there when I pulled up, before I could even put my car in park, they were already handing me my order (which I completely loved because I am always racing against time). One star was knocked off because they tend to be out of a few things that I normally order from other locations so that sucks but it does save me from purchasing more than I need to (which lets be honest, is everyone's problem when they shop at Target). read more

Their return policy sucks. They don't accept returns on unopened baseball cards that are still wrapped in the original cellophane and have very clearly been unopened. The clerks should let people know when purchasing items like these that all sales are final and they don't allow returns. read more

Fitting rooms closed I'm in the 10% who doesn't shop at Target. My check-ins here were either accompanying my teen or taking my mom shopping here. This past weekend I went with my daughter because she needed to get a birthday gift for her friend. While she was shopping I went on my own to check out their line of sundresses. I actually found three that were okay ranging from $20 to $34.99. Guess what? Due to Covid the fitting rooms were unavailable for use. Like wth? I dislike not having to try on clothing first before purchasing. I ended up buying all the dresses. Tried them on at home... I didn't like the fit of the two dresses so I decided to return them the next day. Customer Service was quick and professional and the only question I was asked was "there's nothing wrong with the dresses, correct?" It's been less than 24 hours, the dresses were fine and I mentioned that their fitting rooms were closed and I wasn't able to try them on. Why do they allow the clothings outside their store then returned if the customer didn't like the item(s)? Hmm, I don't get it. I was able to find my style of sundresses in another store. That evening I went back to Target again to return the 3rd dress I purchased, hence the multiple check-ins yesterday in this location. Like the first time it was a fast, easy and no-hassle experience from Customer Service. The only inconvenience was having to drive back to the store... AND not having the fitting rooms open for use! I chose to use target.com store pick up method. I ordered exactly what I needed and quickly got email messages when items were ready for pick up. Once there, I went into the store to grab my things plus to do a bit more shopping. Barely any customers in line and a couple cashiers just looked at me so I had to ask if there was someone to assist and one told me to continue waiting. A bit frustrating when there's 2-3 workers just looking at you and having personal conversations and not helping out. Right away someone quickly came out afterwards and all my items were there. The customer service at this Target is appalling!! I was mouth gaped opened shocked at the disrespectful behavior of an employee named Leah. To start off with she almost hit myself and my child with a cart that she was pushing. I blew it off because I figured she just didn't see us. We proceeded around her cart and continued on with our shopping. She ended up right next to me, like shoulder to shoulder. I looked over at her, mind you we are face to face because she was so close, I giggled and asked her if I was in her way. Dead face looks at me answers yes. I was so shocked at her rudeness that I asked her why she didn't at least say excuse me. She just ignored me. I found a manager to let them know. His name was Curtis. I told him wha had happened and he just looked at me and said "OK". Absolutely defeated, I just left the store. I have no interest in shopping at this Target again. Aside from this already being my favorite Target location (it's always the most clean and organized and has an ULTA), an employee here went out of his way for me today and deserves the recognition. I stumbled upon the perfect infant nursery glider on clearance and upon asking him to track it down at different locations, was able to secure it for me. He took a lot of time with me and was so patient, especially when he'd attempted several other Target locations where no one was even picking up. It was apparent then and there that the level of customer service at this location succeeds that of others, and it's employees like Wesley who contribute to it! It really went a long way! read more

We were in the store last night at closing time. We were in line with our two small items (a Magnolia measuring cup and a bottle of Mrs. Meyer's Daisy scented all-purpose cleaner). There were three checkstands open with employees who were ringing up customers. As we joined the line to be rung up, the cashier who was with the customers ahead of us, and yelled "CARDS ONLY!" at us, which was fine, I guess, we planned to pay via card. The customers ahead of us were having trouble with their transaction and it began to take a while, so we asked the checker in the next checkstand if she was available (she was doing absolutely nothing to help her coworkers get remaining customers taken care of). The checker replied in an exasperated tone, "I guess I can open back up. I can't leave here until everyone is gone, anyway." We said not to worry if her drawer had been closed out (we've both worked in retail management, and know damn well the drawer was still open). She very begrudgingly rang up our two, small items and refused to be pleasant. I was shocked that an employee would behave like that. We all have to work for a living, and if helping customers is that annoying, perhaps she should work in the back of the house where she's not customer-facing? I understand more than most how frustrating some customer can be, but it's fairly well understood that helping people who are customers is a rather large part of the job in a store like Target. What's up with the attitude of some people who have to work at that age? We'd all love to win the lottery and travel the world, but reality dictates that most of us have to work, so you might as well make the best of it. My husband began to say that he was done shopping at Target (sadly, this has happened another time at a different Target store), but I said that this was not necessarily a Target problem, but rather a worker problem. I love this location! Their drive up is the best! The young employees that bring out items to your car are efficient and speedy. But they are very busy from 4p-7p so I have waited 15 min before but didn't bug me because I know they get busy. Even when it's busy, employees are still friendly and usually offer or close your trunk for you. Inside store is also easy and clean. read more

Targets are pretty standard. I usually get the same experience at each one, but this Target was awesome! The store itself is HUGE. It almost resembles a super target. The store layout is a bit confusing because they have aisles in the middle due to it being so big. LOL, but there's plenty to browse through! The store was very clean and organized as well. Especially the clothing! We were looking at shoes for quite awhile and didn't have to kick anything aside to walk through the aisle. It was easy to find the shoe and size we wanted. I love this location, it's one of my favorite. Yes it can be busy but it isn't bad during the weekdays at open (with the exception of lately). I often place orders on line to pick-up in store and on the rare occasion utilize drive-up. If you use the app everything is extra easy and streamlined, you won't even need receipts to return because it logs all of your purchases for you (and offers cash back rewards). Love the drive-up feature (obvs), Bianca was an absolute sweetheart. Compassionate of the current situation and of the customers' safety. I wanted to contact corporate and sing her praises but there were FIFTY SEVEN people ahead of me waiting to use the Chat Feature! Yikes. Extremely clean, well stocked, & I love the new Ulta section! Employees have always been exceptional in helping me locate an item I'm looking for. This is definitely one of the better Targets in the area. The parking lot is huge so even if they're busy you'll find a parking spot, you may have to walk a little bit though. They have a Starbucks inside which is always a bonus. The layout of the store flows really well, there's always employees restocking, and things are fairly well organized. The only downside I would say is since they remodeled the store the plus size section was essentially cut in half. There's not a lot of selection now, we do have more variety in the women's intimates, but as for just clothes it's limited. I also appreciate though how target is one of the few places that you can find both straight size (regular) and plus size mannequins, step in the right direction. read more

Every time I visit this location, I end up somehow getting an item that is broken, defective, or rotten. This is a very gorgeous Target, which is why it surprised me how bad they take care of their grocery section. Ordered a grocery pickup since everywhere else was booked but was disgusted to find out that the milk was already past it's best by on the date of purchase as well as there being moldy tomatoes in the tomato bag I ordered once opening. They don't have much grocery stock to begin with compared to some other grocery stores/Targets so definitely take your grocery shopping elsewhere. All this is AFTER I had a previous visit at this Target where I bought a pack of wet swiffer pads that was crushed and leaked liquid all over and stained my counter. Overall, I'm weary now of this locations products. EDIT: Came back to this Target last night while walking around and our Dr Pepper bottles broke and leaked all over the store+check out conveyer. The staff at checkout was very nice about it at least... I can't help but wonder why every time I go to this Target I either get a broken, defective, or rotten product regardless if it's from instacart or my own shopping. read more

Went to Target last night, been there hundreds of times through the years. The Target on Fairway Dr in Rocklin. I was in the Chip aisle and saw a rat run across the aisle from one side to the other and go under the shelf at the end of the aisle. Sooo creepy! This target had everything we needed including the new wipes by dapple that I couldn't at any other target to wash breast pumps when you are on the go. Their clearance section for babies was perfect and I wasn't even looking for clothes. That's how they get you. Very clean Target and practically no wait to checkout. The barista at Starbucks was super nice! She made my croissant fast and got me out of there. Somehow between getting my croissant and walking to the car my croissant fell out of the bag from the bottom. She was so nice and made me a new one without hesitation. One of the best ones yet. For the first visit it was a good store, all Christmas stuff is mostly 50% off. Be careful though you might find the hidden items that are 30% off. The store is clean and has a good layout as well. You can never get away from other rude customers but the staff are great and the registers were available for checkout with little wait. read more

Who doesn't love Tarjay? They revamped the store and the layout is going to take some getting used to, but their Starbucks looks so nice. The most confusing part of the store is the kids/baby section. Not sure where to find anything and it looks like someone needs to stay on top of picking up after savage shoppers. Unfortunately the tv we got did not fit in our car, but the staff really helped us to brainstorm ways to get it home (we ended up returning it to try to find an easier way to get it home) but we felt very well taken care of the whole time.
