I was in need of a few different items today including some electronics adapters and cords, face masks, and stationery so decided to check out this Target. I was able to find face masks very easily, including fancy ones and ones that are more for value, and this Target actually had a really impressive selection of them along with all the beauty products you can ask for. The back to school stationery was also great. I was able to find quite a few items that I wanted here. The electronics department here was quite disappointing. I just needed an HDMI cord and a RCA to 3.5 mm jack adapter. There was a slim selection for HDMI cords and they didn't have the adapter. I feel like that is a standard item that should be available at any electronics department but maybe I am wrong. There were also a lot of shopping carts in parking spots. Overall, this Target is a solid shopping spot! read more

Love this Target! Workers are very helpful and friendly. We visit there 3-4 times a week. Want to give a shout out to the worker named Roman on his name badge. This young gentleman is a very hard worker. He has tenacious energy and keeps us coming back for more purchases! Keep up the good work, Roman! read more

I shop at Target every once in a while. Their prices are higher than most other stores. I stayed away for a while as they were reorganizing their store. I enjoy the employees and the cleanliness of the store. You can always find someone to help you when you need it. read more

Target is a chain, I get... I get! But when you are sick as a dog and they will run the tiniest of items to your car, it makes a world of difference! Drove what seemed like across town from ABQ to Rio rancho for my Vicks vapor pads (thanks Rona ) and got a lovely gift with it! Target Rio Rancho.... Thanks for the small card and arts and crafts project. You made this very irritated girl's day! It's the small things that count, right?! read more

I will start off by saying Target has always been a "safe", professional and friendly environment for my family. This was true until a female Target employee at this particular location, who was collecting cash at the self checkout refused to accept a $50 bill from my 17 year old daughter. This woman told my daughter that they don't except that form of cash. My daughter was very embarrassed. Thank goodness she had my debit card with her, so she was able to use that. Her father had given her cash for allowance and was excited to spend it at Target. She visited Target multiple times a month to grab her favorite seaweed, press-on nails, etc. I called and spoke to Melinda who is in charge of the cashiers. She was very professional, kind and assured me she would get to the bottom of this issue and assured me it would never happen again. I appreciated her response. Melinda asserted that Target accepts $50's and even $100's. .... I think I need to add that my daughter is African American and this woman was an over 50 Caucasian woman. My poor daughter has to deal with racism way too much! Target should be a safe place for her. I hope that this cashier is reprimanded and held accountable for her discrimination. read more

Target has its pluses and minuses. I get some really good deals with Target. I love that with my Shipt, I can use it anywhere, for anyone, like my sister in Michigan. I also really like that I can place an order and pick it up. The system for that works really well and the kids doing the running and delivering of orders are the best! Always happy and professional. Kudos to them. I appreciate the giving to nonprofit organizations every three months, decided by customers votes. I recommend them. read more

Target - More self checkouts - Department Stores Near Me - Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Ive been a Target shopper since 1986. The store in Rio Rancho has always been clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. However, I am very disappointed that they are not enforcing face masks in this store, social distancing and they are not monitoring the number of people in their stores - yet they have signs saying they require masks, etc. So which one is it? If people weren't dying as the result of this virus, I'd feel differently. However, as far as I can tell, this particular target is more interested in making $$$ than being a good corporate citizen. If Target is ok with contributing to the death toll and people are willing to shop there, more power to you. However, I will shop elsewhere from now on. Adios Target. I want to keep my family and friends safe. read more

We prefer to shop Target because the quality and customer service is almost always superior to the Evil Empire (a.k.a. WalMart). But apparently the customer service staff there tonight couldn't be bothered to help my wife and daughter with their exchanges. Interesting that they served other people but somehow disappeared when my wife and daughter were in line. Such a shame but it is Rio Rancho after all. read more

It's similar like other Target stores, but I like to come here since it has a very nice and friendly customer service. The store is supper clean, even the rest rooms. Everything is available on shelves, I always find what I need without a rain check. Prices are reasonable, they are cheaper with Target brand products with standard quality. Produce is also good, I never leave the store without forgetting to check out their fresh fruits. It's very convenient to shop here since it has everything from A to Z, and that is all I need! read more

Very time I'm in Rio Rancho and I need to stop at target and I'm officially making this my main target even if that means I have to drive out of my way to go here. The Customer service is amazing they are always very helpful and very cheerful every time you go in. customer service is amazing they are always very helpful and very cheerful every time you go in . Today I used the pickup drive up and it was very fast John was never nice when he came to my car thank you to all the staff here for always changing my mood into a good mood when I'm having a bad day. read more

This is not a reflection on customer service, the one person that was there was great. This is about wondering why Target would only have 1 team member in customer service the weekend after Christmas. If Target wants to encourage online ordering to minimize the pandemic risk, then they must do better than a situation where an online order takes longer than simply walking in. read more

Came here with flyer from Best Buy, the says they do not price match any stores. They will only price match their website. Not good target, you will lose by not competing with your competitors read more

The Store was almost empty of customers, with lots of staff repeatedly asking how we were doing..a good thing however.. Another customer decided to start looking through the jackets displayed on a small circular rack , three feet away from us. Two employees, including the manager, passed by but said nothing to her about being so close. Sooooo.. I asked her to back up..she refused..I told her SIX FEET ... She pointed to her mask like that made it ok.. Said "Lost a friend to Covid last week.. back up! " No response..I yelled.. She told me "I'm glad your friend died" I cursed.. My friend was young with two small children. The manager FINALLY stepped up.. and told ME I would have to leave the store if I didn't calm down... Not one word to the woman about intentionally endangering other customers, instead "Oh, your children are so cute.." Two young unmasked girls.. My friend had two little girls... They now have no father. Very poor form Target. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Always a horrible experience dealing with online orders, I have had issue before with ordering something online that they say is in stock and then hearing nothing back and having to call them to find out my order was canceled but they still took my money, store managers are willing to do nothing to help I was told I have to buy the item at another store(so purchase it twice) to be able to get the item and then wait a few days for them to refund the money to my account. Martin said he was the store manager for that shift, he told me he could send me an empty box, said their was nothing he can do and seemed like he didn't want to help me what so ever. I am done wasting my time and money at this target. If you have the time, go shop anywhere else. Martin is a joke of a manager. read more

Pretty nice target. Most target stores I visit are very clean and organized, this one is no exception. There is a good amount of people available to help out customers who have questions or need directions to an item. The amount of checkers available seems adequate as I've never had to wait in line, and they have a good variety of stock. I love that they have an abundance of small travel bottles/items. Those things never seem to be in stock at places like Walmart. They also have a grocery section that you can find some real deals in on certain days. read more

Clean and well lit Does not attract the lunies like Wal-Mart does. Check out People of Walmart - Music Video by Jessica Frech to see what everyone is talking about Do not buy vitamins at superstores, GNC or pharmacies, they sell the lowest possible quality (even if its a national brand. If you want decent vitamins and supplements then go to The Vitamin Shoppe. Just about all manufactured products sold in the US are Made in China, it doesn't matter which store you go to. Free WiFi Enough Checkers to keep the lines short and moving quickly I'd like to see more employees on the floor to help customers. I was walking around for a while looking for help. Nicely stocked, they carry several items that I can't find elsewhere (for real) so I do like shopping here. read more

Same old major retail corporation that you find anywhere else. I rarely shop here, or any target at that, maybe twice a year I will go in. Clean store, easy to find items as there are very large signs on ceilings to point you in the right direction, if you need help they usually don't have any attitude so good customer service. The smell of popcorn as soon as you enter is always the best part, it's a classic indication you just stepped into a target read more

I am simply a fan of Target - namely the clearance items! This Target has a limited amount of food items so if you are looking to make this your one- stop shop you are out of luck. The employees are super friendly and we are always greeted with a smile. Since we are here so often they know us ad out little one so she always gets a sticker at check out without even asking - definite bonus points for that. Everything is well organized and marked. Restrooms are always clean. Overall, I typically have a good experience at this store. read more

I rarely ever travel this way. I had to drop someone off in Rio Rancho and we stopped since it was Black Friday. This is a huge clean Target. I was totally impressed. read more

Nice clean store, friendly staff, easy parking, great layout and well stocked.

I love targets! I will most certainly take them any day over Walmart! Especially the walmarts in NM:) This Target has nice staff and you can always find a team member if you have a question. If I could change one thing about this target, it would be that they had the new shopping carts that the rest of the locations seem to have. But in no way a deal breaker. I will for sure be back! read more

So I like Targets because they usually can do a one stop shop at these locations. This particular one also served as a form of entertainment since there isn't much to do in New Mexico. They have all the same great deals and specials as everywhere else but they keep it clean though. Cool spot and I am a fan. read more

This Target has not been updated in the last 10 years if you ask me. The dressing rooms are like cheap cubicles and the walls feel like they're going to come down when you try and shut the unlevel door. The clothing is disorganized and is not stocked with adequate sizing. The baby sections (yes sections) are totally divided and on complete opposite sides of the store which is super annoying. Diapers and formula are separated from baby bottles, toys, and all the other baby items. Feels very dated and not bright and cheerful. Overall has a confusing layout but on the plus side there's no one ever here. read more

Want to give a review on two employees actually :) I always shop at this target and others in the area, however this is the closest and the friendliest so my Favorite for sure. There is a young man that went out of his way to make me feel like he was listening and actually wanted to help me. He took me to areas not pointing them out :) and he was so eager to find out the answers I needed . What a important employee to Target, his name is NOAH He is or was in electronics that night. Very genuine, oh and the young lady he called on for answers was no slacker :) Her name is SIERRA M. , not sure of their last names? Anyway, I was in retail for many years and customer service makes it such a pleasant place to shop and also work. I don't know if this review will make it to anyone's ears at the Target in Rio Rancho, I sure hope it does... I think this Target is the most willing and friendly store I have shopped in the entire area , Albuquerque included. Thanks for hiring pleasant people that actually want to help and always smile. I think it's because they work in an environment that they like, it really shows. Thank you to NOAH D. and Sierra M. You two actually took time to address all my needs :) Graced H. in Rio Rancho read more
