For it being a Sunday I have to say I was a bit shocked til I saw the Santa booth by the elevator and was reminded it was the holiday season so during the holidays they extend the hours. Anyways after walking around I found this shop. They had a lot of home decor, furniture, hand made blankets, apparel, geo rocks, novelties, jewelry, and so much more related to New Mexico. The blankets they had were so soft and neat, if I didn't have to buy Christmas presents, I would've bought one for myself. They had these dia de los muertos figurines that I absolutely fell in love with! The furniture they had was gorgeous! Wooden bed frames, tables, and even leather couches that were so comfortable and neat. The home decor items they had ranged from wooden sculptures to hand crafted metal figurines. They offered so much. Admittedly the prices were a bit high but it's to be expected for handcrafted products. The mineral rocks were gorgeous but pricey as well. Definitely didn't much under $10 but admittedly everything seemed very good quality so the prices I thought were fair. They are located where the old Zumies was by the elevator in the middle of the mall by the candle shop.

My items have sold very well, and I have found some nice things in exchange with my credit or just gotten a check when I wanted the cash. For those who want to consign, they have an on line account balance you can check that shows your items and the balance in your account. You can also make apts on line and find their weekend apt availability to be very convenient with my work schedule. Finding professional clothing in Albuquerque has always been a bit of a challenge, but this consignment store has some nice options for that, special events and much more. For the guys it's a good place to shop if you want to look casual cool WITHOUT the thrift-shop-sleaze and/or I'm-trying-too-hard factor. You can find jeans that your girlfriend will like, tees for every occasion, hoodies, blazers, hats, and even scarves if your beard is too weak to be a proper facejacket. The appropriately bearded owner Ryan is easygoing and equally helpful when I asked him to pick a few things to try on. When I shop without help I buy the same grey sweaters, black pencil skirts, and skinny jeans. My favorite piece that Ryan suggested is a bright chunky cable knit cardigan with rosette buttons. There's also an old dog (I think her name is Margo) who will accept your affection or contently ignore you, affordable prints from local artists, belt buckles, vegan handbags, maybe a little bit of footwear, a good selection of sale items, and a relaxed happy vibe.

This women's resale clothing boutique has an alter ego and upon discovering Nearly New a couple of…read moreyears ago, it's become my favorite. Here's why: 1. The Owner and her small staff are on a mission...to provide a service to women (primarily) who are entering the job market and need assistance in putting together a career wardrobe. Nearly New's clientele qualify and are referred to the shop through the Human Services Department (just behind) and have encouraging, enthusiastic assistance from the welcoming staff in pulling together an interview wardrobe and more. This is what I call true community service! 2. Though a primary goal of the business is to provide assistance to their referrals, the shop is open to everyone and I have found many great items ...a mustard-yellow Coach belt, Chico tops and bottoms, a Banana Republic knit pencil skirt. They have jeans, jeans, and more jeans along with other casual wear, so not just career wear. Shoes and boots around every corner, too. There is a 50% off sale on occasion, based on the influx of donations. Speaking of donations, the quality is superb, considering this is not a consignment shop. Thank you, all of you generous and apparently successful career women who donate gently used clothing to Nearly New...you're the best! 3. You gotta love the creaky old house Nearly New calls home. The clothing and shoes are tastefully displayed and everything is clean. There are multiple rooms sectioned by clothing type and size. And they also have a small men's section. 4. And last but not least, Nearly New is located within walking distance of The Range Café. So get outta town, have lunch in Bernalillo, and check out the deals and constantly changing inventory at this special shop..

BUT... and this is the big but, good luck finding your size in the color you want on the rack its supposed to be on. This Kohls is a bit disorganized. They aren't very well stocked, and they tend to have a ton of the median sizes but not a fair selection that runs the gambit. Another thing that gets me, as far as women's clothing goes, you go from trendy teen section to the blah suburban mom section. There is no clear misses section or anything in the women's section that cries 20-30's. Its a great store if you willing to overlook the disorganization and really dig for what you want, because when you find what you want, its usually a great deal.
