I absolutely love this thrift store in Corrales! All of the proceeds go to animals in need, and they always have a fabulous selection of clothes, knickknacks and household goods. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays- so make sure to come in later in the week. They have two different houses filled with treasures def check them both out! I was dismayed to notice the low rating for this store. My daughter and I always love coming here. It's our favorite thrift store in the area. Part of that comes from the mission to help animals. So the price never seems high to me, given the fact that the money supports animals in need. The housewares part in the building has so much stuff to browse. But it doesn't feel overpacked. The back building has a decent selection of clothing, but that's not the bulk of what they have (we always find something to buy though). The jewelry area is impressive and has items in all price ranges, from cheap earrings to gemstone jewelry sets. And the people are always friendly to us! Excellent choices and wide variety of dishes and pottery. They had great Italian Deruta ceramics when I visited. The pricing, while overall OK, is too high for some items but dirt cheap for others (like vintage food tins which were a giveaway). Great location and good customer service. read more

Great place to shop. They have almost everything you can imagine, and some really unique things too. Friendly staff and some times their dog, who volunteers, will greet you when he's there too. I wish I lived closer, I'd be shopping here all the time! read more

The young woman was super kind to me and let me use the restroom even though it was claimed to be broken. They turned the water on for me, I'm 26 weeks pregnant so I was extremely grateful! When I exited the bathroom I got dirty looks and questioned by an older lady who was anything but kind. She stared me down and made me feel guilty for getting permission, and the bathroom worked perfectly. I also had my baby with me too so it was just completely unnecessary. I felt so uncomfortable like she was watching me the entire time which frankly ruined my experience. I won't be back... As for the selection, I liked the house portion with the glassware, some prices were decent, but the clothing portion in the back was overpriced. Maybe if the customer service was better I'd give it another shot but to be honest, It wasn't worth it. I felt very unwelcome. read more

Fun place to shop for household items, jewelry, and clothes. As others mentioned, the shop is divided between two buildings, one for household items and the other for clothes and jewelry. The prices seem reasonable to me, several of the ceramic or glass items are high quality. The more common items are very affordable. The artwork is expensive compared to other thrift stores, but I suspect several pictures are from local artists, and the quality overall is high. The buildings are small and can get crowded if you go at a popular time. The shop is run by volunteers (thanks!) and the profits go to an animal rescue, so you can get bargains and do some good at the same time. Everybody was friendly to me and my husband. Secondhand treasures thrift store is one of the best in the area. They have really nice items at good prices. Nice clothes, even some designer clothes. They sell jewelry menswear, linens and they even have a whole room just for Christmas Items. The profits go to animal rescue. This makes it even more worthwhile to shop here. read more

AARRFF! ARF! In the good ol' Bunkhouse Building comes a new and welcome business. This one is a charity disguised as a thrift shop! The items you chose to donate or buy here go to benefit the Southwest Animal Rescue Fund, Inc. A great cause that is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of homeless animals in New Mexico. Think about giving some good stuff here instead of suffering through another yard sale to help a good cause. Inside, you may meet Nancy. A straight shooting gal who can give you all the info you want to know about the place. This is a tough one to review since the stuff I see this week won't be the same stuff you see in a few weeks. (At least we hope it moves that quickly) The items are the usual you'd expect; dishes, clothes, lamps and lots of treasures. There was no direct phone line to the store when I was there, but you can get all the info you need from the website. The number listed is the Rescue Info Line. In the end they get 5 stars because it's a fun place and it's a charity! I didn't list them under that because I couldn't find it but if you know how, then please do! Love this store! Very reasonable prices, and the best part all the proceeds go to animals! It's very organized and neatly folded items. And boy there is a lot of fun stuff to go through, and plenty of rooms to look in. The people who work there were all kind and friendly. You have questions? Their more than willing to answer them. And they have a cute two colored eye dog, who greets you with licks and his stuff animals. He's very friendly towards everyone who walks in! Give this store a look, it's so worth it! read more

Secondhand Treasures is a firsthand ripoff. This place is not a thrift store. It is a boutique style resale shop. The women who work there are not very friendly either. I went in and found a sweater which they had priced at $60. Ridiculously high for a "thrift store". I asked them if they would budge on the price even a little bit. The woman answered with a short "no, we can sell it at this price thanks". wow! I was completely shocked and blown away. Very disappointed in this place because I am always happy to support animal rescue thrift stores. If you want to pay a lot of money for middle and lower end quality items then this is your place. I will never ever go to this shop again. Found a piece of glassware, took it to the register to purchase. My friend and I were looking it over, Nancy the manager, was eavesdropping on our conversation. She promptly jerked it out of my hand and told me it was not for sale. She seemed to think one of her workers had priced it too cheap and consequently told me I could have it for $300-really, are you kidding me lady????The price on it was $10-what a ripoff this place is.Nancy then told me to get the _____out of the store. This is a great place if you don't mind being treated like a second class citizen from the quite rude and uppity people running this joint. I for one will never go back. There are plenty of other places to hunt for treasure in the area. I have visited several Corrales businesses over the years and always been treated very kindly. This place is an exception. read more
