The employee was way in the back screaming to call police because the woman would not leave. The screaming and yelling continued as they made their way to the front. The lady with the dog said you should not treat me like this and the manager said she can and will. I have worked in retail for many years before becoming a teacher and this behavior was reprehensible. The manager was so abusive. I have shopped here for years but will never step foot in the store again. Shame on you!

I…read moreinadvertently took out a shelf at Joy Junction Thrift Shoppe the other night and the whole thing came crashing down with bits and pieces on the floor. Plates and cups and glasses. Just wanted to say spenza! No disrespect. Fully my bad. But Leslie, the manager of the store, and her Dude were on the scene cool as cucumbers and made me feel like it was no biggie. Anywhere else would've (quite justifiably) beat me with feather dusters, called me names, and made me cry after what I just did. And after what just happened, I wanted a beating. I needed one. Yo I had it coming. But no, they were so cool about my fiasco with the shelving not even one sideways word with me or any attitude whatsoever. The word professional doesn't even come close to describing staff's acumen and demeanor in a difficult moment at this store. Where I'm from, that's what we call putting on a clinic. After my incident I was motivated to make it right somehow and I'm glad I bought a pristine couch for my living room. Got a good price. And I scored an old school coffee percolator which I was super chuffed to get for $7. The couch looks great. I've gotten all kinds of compliments on it already and I make sure to point my people right back to the source of the goodnesss - Joy Junction Thrift Shoppe.

I find all the goodwills here to be kept pretty nice and clean. Got a gorgeous sterling ring and pair of dream catcher earrings 12.99 and 8.99. As with all thrift shops as well as Costco Sams club and dollar tree, there are ever changing items. They were a bit light on hard goods/furniture but it definitely has a lot of clothing Staff was excellent especially woman who helped me. Really went out of her way to help.

Loved seeing that they now have an enclosed area for adoptable cats. After asking about it to the cashier I learned that over 40 cats (maybe more) have been adopted since being there. Sweet to see!
