My first time here and I was so impressed with the cleanliness and organization and ease of finding good things. The employees went above and beyond helping me. I found a gorgeous wood table and the kind and helpful manager, Simi, was clearly loved by all her employees, helped me in every way. I can see why she is so respected. She and a male employee, who actually stayed after hours to help me were the absolute best. Her kindness and helpfulness when I was being so demanding will something I won't forget. With so many reviews in the four star range how could I not come here? The interior of this place is about 15,000 ft.² and mostly given over to clothing, but a third of the store is everything else but clothing. They have seven dressing rooms, one of which is for the handicapped. One drawback is that they have only one unisex bathroom and you need a key to get in (and it is dated). Clothing tends to be their strong point here, as I found little in the way of collectibles, furniture or electronics. So if it's primarily clothing you're looking for, this is the place to be. read more

After I shopped here for my home heath gear, I found everything I needed too. It's family friendly my hubby was just looking around tho. The dressing rooms are clean and open. I got five pairs of scrubs for 48 bucks I can't beat that buying online. The also check you out really fast and very helpful and extremely friendly I love this store I'll be shopping there a lot. So many fun treasures!!!! I went to find stuff to paint with, I wanted to feel fancy so I thought it would be fun to get some pretty glass cups to put water in for painting and cleaning my brushes. There were so many options!! They also have a lot of clothes there if that's what you're looking for along with so many other great options! If I had the patients I would be there all day but I'm not a treasure hunter person but it's a great place to go if you want to shop till you drop! They have a lot of great things! :) read more

This is by far the largest secondhand store that I've been to with plenty of things to look at. On the outskirts of the room you'll find household, toys and Halloween items. The left hand side upon entry is dedicated to clothing. It was really neat to walk up and down the isles and check out some of the things that they have here. We were able to find some amazing things that we had recently been thinking about purchasing new so you can imagine the excitement when we found them here. The only drawback is that somethings smelled like fairy dry morning brass over by the purses. I'm not sure how they go about disinfecting things but perhaps some air fresheners would be a good alternative. Other than that this is a really neat place. read more

Came here for baby clothes because i feel like there isnt much good places to shop for baby boys and this place is hands down my favorite. They don't have a huge section but they have very nice clot for very cheap. I found about 5 ralph lauren jackets sweatshirts and onsies for my son ranging from a dollar to 5 dollars. 9/28/21: Nice variety of clothes; friendly staff. If you go in on just the right day, you can absolutely find designer labels. You just have to be diligent. Also on certain days you can really make your hard earned money go far. Look for those special tags (can be pink, yellow, red, blue) but store advertising will guide you. A very large thrift shop! Lots of selection. I can't say this shop is deeply unique but I don't need a incredibly different thrift store experience. What I look for in a thrift shop is: selection, full shelves, price, cleanliness, and helpful employees. On most details this thrift shop is a perfect score. It is full of merchandise and selection - some items you might find here: books, entertainment, electronics, jewelry, clothes, house supplies, shoes, glassware, purses, toys, bedding, baby items, curtains, and luggage. Some items I was particularly interested in - antique milk glass, Barbies, vintage T-shirts. The location is fairly clean considering the number of shoppers at any given moment. The employees are very helpful. The only downside to this location is the prices. I saw a T-shirt that was $7! $7 for a regular T-shirt! That's crazy! They did have the typical color tag sale, but that of course doesn't discount every item. (The 4 stars is because of the pricing). I would revisit if I was looking for a particular item that I did not think I could find elsewhere for cheaper. read more

We found this place driving by and decided to stop by. The place is pretty big. This is a real thrift store you have to look through everything. Unfortunately the floors were a little dirty. They have a lot of kids clothing. They toys are the cheapest I've seen. We got a few pairs of pants and a few toys for my son. My husband was able to find a really nice tommy shirt. read more

Thrift Town is pretty big and has a great selection. Prices were terrific. It was reasonably clean. Items were organized. Lot parking was plentiful. Service was kinda meh, though. One employee was pretty loud and pushy and a couple of others just seemed bummed out. I might return if I happened to be right there, but otherwise not so much. Gotta drop my rating on this place, due to a recent visit that didn't match previous experience. First, dear reader, know that in my humble opinion, the real finds at Thrift Town are housewares, kitchenware and random keepsakes that continually turn up, three decades too late, to satisfy your bohemian kitschy sensibilities. You can score some true gems here, from glass lamps and ornate ashtrays to works of "art", should you choose to deem them so, which could give you hipster street cred or, just as quickly, make your living room the laughing stock of the pretentious, judgmental people you call friends. Ahem. On the clothing front, this outlet just hasn't been delivering much, for men, anyway. In case you're out of the loop, Albuquerque generally offers precisely what you'd expect to find in thrift clothes: gold. The city remains stuck behind the times and Thrift Town used to be a terrific spot to unearth timeless threads at bargain prices. Perhaps the secret's out, and it's just mined far better than it once was, but I'm not sourcing the quality or quirky stuff I used to, here. In comparison to the competition, which charges a tad more, but keeps better inventory, I'm wandering to the competition first, these days. read more

The last time I went in Thrift Town, it was super smelly and disorganized and had nothing I was interested in. That was many years ago. Having recently moved back to town I decided to give it a second chance. Boy am I glad I did! It is now quite well organized. The section of men's flannel shirts alone is impressive! There are a few vintage treasures to be found if you look hard enough. Prices are reasonable. They have a loyalty program and frequent coupons (like $10 off $20). Unlike at some thrift stores, tag sales are sometimes beyond 50% reduction. It always seems busy, so they must be doing something right... Definitely one of the stronger options in the cluster of thrift stores in that part of town, and they have longer hours than some of the smaller ones as well. read more

Large, clean and well staffed 2nd hand store in the NE Quadrant of the Duke City. Wide aisles and a really efficient check-out system gets you out quickly. Every time I'm in town I try to have an hour or so to spend here. GREAT BOOK SELECTION. I always bring a few books home in my suitcase. Bought three Edward Abbey books when I was there in July. I always find great costume & vintage clothes. Sales are frequent and if you are persistent you can find some really good deals for 1/2 off of what was already way cheap. I almost always bring home some unusual dish or candlesticks or mug. The entrance to the store is between the buildings - - like so many places I end up going - - it is not easy to find. But they have a very big sign out on Menual, so you can't miss it. If you are into saving money and have a little extra time on your hands, don't miss this great thrift store. Just don't spread the word too far . . . save some stuff for me. I'll be back in town over the holidays and I need a book or two! read more

I was incredibly impressed by this thrift store! We were passing through ABQ from Austin, TX (the land of thrifting) and decided to stop by Thrift Town. Oh my goodness, there were so many awesome finds! This Thrift Town was super organized! The sizes and colors were properly sorted. The store was clean. There was so much variety!! I could have looked around for hours! The staff members were also phenomenal. They were so so friendly & kept lines moving along very quickly. They were also super helpful & even applied a coupon to my purchase! I ended up finding six super cute mugs (a set of 4 & a set of 2), two t-shirts, a thick winter coat, a decorative dish & a candle holder for... wait for it... 13 BUCKS!!! That's right folks! I made out like a bandit! My jacket was even half price because it had the tag of the week! If you're not familiar with this system, they choose a different color tag every day of the week & mark them 50% off. Pretty sweet! They'll also send you tons of really awesome coupons if you sign up for their VIP system. Aaand you can accrue points for each dollar you spend. Once you reach 100 points, you get $5 off your purchase of $15+! AND if you're a senior, you get 30% off on Mondays. Whew! I usually come down here with one of my clients because he likes to look at the electronics and the glassware For me personally I don't find much of the items here very appealing but they do have a large selection of items which is always good for a thrift store. I wish there book section had a little more selection but I can go down to the bookstore for that. Normally I would've given it three out of five stars but the fact that it smells so good in here today gave me the extra push for that fourth star read more

Thrift Town = Fun Town if you're looking for clothes. They have a WIDE selection of clothing for everyone here. I personally was looking for cool/interesting T-shirts to make into crop tops and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. All the clothes are organized by size, then by COLOR! Amazing! Makes my virgo heart sing. Staff were friendly and helpful and there's a restroom upon key assistance. Staff was helpful albeit a little slow, and she found some shorts and tops that she was planning to get in New York anyways, and for less than half the price. So even though it was an unexpected detour, some very satisfied customers walked out. read more
