Table

My first time here and I was so impressed with the cleanliness and organization and ease of finding good things. The employees went above and beyond helping me. I found a gorgeous wood table and the kind and helpful manager, Simi, was clearly loved by all her employees, helped me in every way. I can see why she is so respected. She and a male employee, who actually stayed after hours to help me were the absolute best. Her kindness and helpfulness when I was being so demanding will something I won't forget. Highly recommended this wonderful thrift store.

With so many reviews in the four star range how could I not come here? The interior of this place is about 15,000 ft.² and mostly given over to clothing, but a third of the store is everything else but clothing. They have seven dressing rooms, one of which is for the handicapped. One drawback is that they have only one unisex bathroom and you need a key to get in (and it is dated). Clothing tends to be their strong point here, as I found little in the way of collectibles, furniture or electronics. So if it's primarily clothing you're looking for, this is the place to be.

Scrubs

After I shopped here for my home heath gear, I found everything I needed too. It's family friendly my hubby was just looking around tho. The dressing rooms are clean and open. I got five pairs of scrubs for 48 bucks I can't beat that buying online. The also check you out really fast and very helpful and extremely friendly I love this store I'll be shopping there a lot. Great service. I'm a happy customer.

Beautiful Milk Glass Vases!

A very large thrift shop! Lots of selection. I can't say this shop is deeply unique but I don't need a incredibly different thrift store experience. What I look for in a thrift shop is: selection, full shelves, price, cleanliness, and helpful employees. On most details this thrift shop is a perfect score. It is full of merchandise and selection - some items you might find here: books, entertainment, electronics, jewelry, clothes, house supplies, shoes, glassware, purses, toys, bedding, baby items, curtains, and luggage. Some items I was particularly interested in - antique milk glass, Barbies, vintage T-shirts. The location is fairly clean considering the number of shoppers at any given moment. The employees are very helpful. The only downside to this location is the prices. I saw a T-shirt that was $7! $7 for a regular T-shirt! That's crazy! They did have the typical color tag sale, but that of course doesn't discount every item. (The 4 stars is because of the pricing). I would revisit if I was looking for a particular item that I did not think I could find elsewhere for cheaper.

When you're at Thrift Town but the pics looks like you're on the Vegas strip!

It was just ok. Not much for Knick knacks or bags, lots of clothes, but not much on the higher end brands.

Worst thrift store I've ever been to ... and I've been to lots. There are better ones in ABQ by far. Don't trust the ratings on this one.

The person who gave a bad review due to rudeness must have different expectations than most. The people who own the place are not there to entertain you, but there to help only if needed. When I went in I got to wander around without being bugged by the staff. When I did have questions they were more than willing to help. I found newly made Mexico furniture that was just outstanding. I bought two pieces that would have cost hundreds more elsewhere. When I told the owner I was looking for a Southwest table he said "just text me the pictures of what you want & I will send it to my Vendor in Mexico. He can make it to order at a much better price than anywhere else in NM" When I went there to load my heavy pieces the owners family member came out to help me. Totally not required by them, just great people. Some prices were high, but there are many things there consignment so owner has no control over them. This is a must stop.

Thrift stores, much as they can unveil diamonds in the rough, are indeed labor-intensive and exhaustive. Good flea markets refuse to allow worn and torn merchandise to sit on any shelf. The Family Indoor Flea Market offers booth after booth of delightful finds, and yeah, a lot of this stuff might be sitting in your grandparent's cabin in the mountains, but there's plenty of retro goodness tucked alongside at prices that compare or often beat what you'll find at your local Goodwill. I didn't buy anything here, but I spent about a half hour admiring the goods and I can think of four or five items I'm itching to pull my consumer trigger finger on. Albuquerque is awash in flea markets, which makes a ton of sense because, hey, this entire state is about two decades behind the times and so there's plenty of Rubik's Cubes to go around. There's a ton to find, here: furniture (not couches, but tables and chairs galore), decorations, lamps, comics and kids items, you name it. And again, I was often astonished at the cost. Here's a nudge: some of these vendors are seriously desperate for a sale. Cheap, you hear me? And I can dig that. I'm cheap. Sounds good to me.
