The owner, who I now know is named Kim, did not smile at me when I walked in the door, nor did she acknowledge my presence in any way even though I know she saw me because I had to go up to the counter a few times to ask her for help with finding clothing in my size. Indeed, she didn't seek me out to ask me if I needed help once! She spent the entire time sniggering with someone who I assume was an employee. As a fellow small business owner myself, I always try to make my customers feel welcome as I know that engaging with potential repeat customers is essential to keeping a local business in business. It wouldn't surprise me if her lack of customer service is why this place is shutting down because I left knowing that I would never come back even if I had liked the clothes. Now for a review of the clothes: they were trashy. I think the store was meant to be a curated boutique of eclectic clothing but all she was curating was memories of a Ross sale section circa the mid-2000s which is to say they looked cheap. (But at least those clothes were affordable!) The clothes were made from synthetic materials that I would not want touching my skin, nothing was cut on the bias, there was way too much hot pink and zebra print? Seriously? I guess I wouldn't expect more from a woman who looks like a knockoff RHWONJ.

While waiting to checkout Woman smirked at me, looked at the owner and said I'm gonna buy that dresser. Did the owner come and ask me out of common courtesy if I was interested? I had measured it, my husband's on his way, you could clearly hear me speaking to him. It's a small store. No Ms Smirky just looked at me gave me a little grin and bought it which is fine. I hope she's happy with that dresser for the rest of her life and I'll never set foot in juxtaposed again. They had a decent selection of sages, incense, candles and gemstones along with a mixture of clothing items and accessories. I am always on the look for taxidermy insects for my collection, so I was a bit sad to see they didn't have a selection of framed insects, bones, etc to check out aside from one framed butterfly on a shelf which I think was used as a decoration. The prices seemed a bit high on some of the products, but it could be due to its location in a prime touristy type shopping area. The store itself felt cozy and is inside of old building, so the shop splits off into two little rooms. I unfortunately didn't find anything I wanted to grab, but my teen found a candle she wanted. All in all it was worth stopping by to check out and see what they had to offer and the girl working the register was really sweet and helpful.

I called Plaza and spoke with Sandra who then gave me her cell number, I sent her photos of the ornament. She found the same ornament and we did the transaction over the phone and I received the new ornament in a week. Sandra went above and beyond ordinary customer service!
