The shops here are closer to the reservation with lots of Native American artists so it is much more affordable than the same thing in Santa Fe. It is a bit touristy but we are tourists so we enjoyed it. Many shops had unique items that were hard to find and even though it was mainly for show I loved seeing the dried chili everywhere. The area has legit history and age and it was great being able to see and do so much without moving our car. Parking was easy and from the town square you can get to many different shops, restaurants, and attractions. The church was a nice fast stop, but I liked the exterior more than the interior. The vibe and architecture are perfect American Southwest and we enjoyed our time here. There was also a Pokemon card shop I grabbed some cards for the kids from!

I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying. I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us. If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!

Other customer she helped they ask questions same thing she said she really didn't know, but yet she didn't seek advice from any of the other workers. So if you're new to this stuff have questions and the sales person cannot answer them strongly suggest that you ask them to go get the information or get a different sales person. What we enjoyed most, though, was the museum area, which has a separate admission of just $5 per person. Inside, you'll find actual costumes worn on the show, autographs, Saul's office setup, Hector's iconic wheelchair, and even the chickens from Los Pollos Hermanos. You can also pose for photos wearing the apron and hat! It felt like a mini Comic-Con experience, but without the lines. There's even a guestbook where visitors from all over the world have signed, and we noticed that Bryan Cranston himself stopped by not too long ago. There is almost an overwhelming amount of items here so it's good if you like browsing. The staff also knows a lot so if you have questions or are looking for a specific item you can ask away. You can also ask for a discount and haggle the prices if you think it's too much. My friend accidentally broke a Kachina doll that was already slightly broken, he felt bad and requested we come back right before our flight so he could pay for it. Staff was very kind and gave him a massive discount. He has it proudly displayed at his home now!
