However, they have lots of books, tons of glassware, kids toys, some furniture, and lots of media. They do offer daily specials and color tag sales depending on the day. That miscommunication set the tone a bit. The store itself is fairly organized for a thrift shop, but I'm not sure if the clothes are cleaned before they hit the racks. Pricing was on the higher side for secondhand items. I found a top for $13 that easily felt like it should've been $5 or less. Unless the money goes to a good cause (which wasn't clear), it felt a little overpriced. Location-wise, it's in a rougher part of town with a visible homeless population, and I honestly didn't feel very safe walking in and out. I often go in just to see what they have and will end up leaving with one or two items. Things donated here are usually pretty good quality too. Plus the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Loved seeing that they now have an enclosed area for adoptable cats. After asking about it to the cashier I learned that over 40 cats (maybe more) have been adopted since being there. Sweet to see! The housewares section was small, but I didn't really look at what they had because I was only interested in clothes and shoes. I wear vintage-y clothes mostly, and this was the perfect place. I got 3 cool sweaters for only $5! I regret not buying a couple of the pairs of shoes I had looked at. They had an excellent selection of older-styled leather pumps that were made of quality materials and were in near-perfect shape. There's also a counter and waiting area in the back where they help out people who come in needing a little help :) The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it is one of the messier/unkempt thrift stores I've been into, and I ended up just trying on the sweaters in front of a mirror next to the racks because so many things were piled in front of the dressing room that it was impossible to get into. This is a thrift store that has a family restoration ministry tied to it. They do have lots of furnishings, glassware, electronics, books, records, and some good clothing at good prices. But that's not all, they also have an area in the parking lot where they stage even more furniture and household wares. You may have to dig for stuff both inside the store and outside, but the prices here are less than that you would find a Goodwill. Definitely a great cause to donate your goods to help people break the cycle of addiction.
