There is no place like the antique specialty mall. Like many other resale shops, the floor space is carved up into cubes "stores" that are individually managed. Unlike all the other resale places around - it's filled with high quality items. It's just unlike other stores. Highly recommend. I've found some items of excellent value there (like a 60 year old hand woven art rug from Afghanistan for under $50). read more

Many other nice places to shop in town. The energy is toxic in my experience. Some of the staff are nice and some are rude and plain mean spirited. I stopped going in there. read more

There were so many things to browse and enjoy. Very interesting and one of a kind items. We arrived almost at closing on a Saturday, but even so, we had enough time to get a pretty good idea of what great finds they had. Needless to say, we will be returning with plenty of time to browse the entire store and hopefully find some great bargains. read more

Wow - what a find! Approximately 60 independent sellers within this antique mall, there's something for everyone. At 18,000 square feet, you can wander for at least a few hours. We're actually going to go back to look at the second half we skipped today. The staff was friendly and helpful. The mall was very clean and the spacing was wide enough to move comfortably around without knocking anything over Highlights for me were George's Civil War Antiques, a two-booth collection of meticulously curated and catalogued historical artifacts; and some original Star Wars and X-Men action figures. Start your treasure hunting here! It's a bit unorganized, but lots of inventory, at reasonable prices. AND very helpful staff, they are constantly walking around and ready to assist. This is a true treasure search location. You will find unique items and the standard antiques. There is some furniture but it is throughout the store rather than in a certain location. There are lots of beautiful dishes, home decor items, collectibles, Western items, mid century pieces, lamps, hanging lamps, and so much more. I shopped here on a holiday weekend and there were tons of sales. Not just the sales where the vendor clearly just had everything marked up and then slashed down on some individual items. These were sales where the vendor did not mess with individual sticker prices at all. They just hung a sign with the sale percentage and it applied to everything! I purchased a Vintage Barbie Camper and reproduction Barbie doll. Both were items I have been hunting for some time. Both were in MINT condition. And they were both priced below eBay! I highly recommend this location! Wear your walking shoes and give this place the time it deserves to perform your search! read more

This is a good antique mall overall... Good selection, typical antique mall. But in my recent visit I experienced some pressured sales techniques that I did not like. One dealer gave me a price on several unmarked items and then when I got to the front they wanted to charge me 10 times the amount. When I said I wanted to take two of the three off my ticket they wouldn't do it and I felt strong armed into buying something I didn't really want to buy. Left a bad taste. I'd still recommend it to other people, but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

What a cool place to go searching for something you can't live without. The place is loaded with so much stuff , you have to take your time and look at everything, stuff is tucked in tight. I've been searching for a real Sock Monkey, I haven't found one yet. I'm sure some of you don't even know what a sock monkey is, see I'm showing my age again. I my wife and I were walking in after having visited the store dozens if not hundreds of times before, having spent thousands of dollars on our home and office over the last 15 years with various vendors here. Upon entering, the cashier insisted my wife, who is definitely not white, put her tote bag, which she was using as a purse, in a locker. She insisted she was asking everyone to do so, yet after we walked around we noticed several other white ladies. Carrying similar size or larger bags. When confronted, the cashier insisted she must've just made a mistake when those other white ladies walked in. Very upset. We live nearby and are small business owners ourself, and there are a lot of different ways this can be handled. Not sure if we will be coming back again. The staff needs to equally enforce this policy, or not at all. read more

Extremely dog friendly you can shop with your pup. There is a little be of everything. Each booth in the big building is set up with different items. Some booths have a variety of items so look closely. Everybody was friendly and happy to help. Seeing when I have an item in my hand they would take it to the front so you didn't have to carry. Had some really nice furniture, antiques, handcrafted items. I didn't know about it tell I was leaving but there is also some lockers up front where you can leave you items like purse or backpack and not have to worry about them while your shopping. read more

The Antique Specialty Mall is a gem of a shopping experience--an amazing, at times overwhelming, testament to the result of the Industrial Revolution of the nineteenth century: MASS PRODUCTION!! The fact that this mall exists in all its glory-thousands upon thousands of wonderful finds-speaks to the mass production of the past one hundred and fifty years that has allowed for so many of these seemingly rare pieces to exist today. My boyfriend and I had so much fun going through this place-it definitely cannot be done in more than one day. They have everything books, jewelry, Civil War era memorabilia, art work, musical instruments, records, household wares-all from various periods in history. Did I mention the VINTAGE CLOTHING?? Mens and women's hats, shoes, dresses, suits--you name it and all reasonably priced. I'm talking $10-$40! The greatest part about this mall is its in a strip of antique stores. Some very unusual southwestern items, unfortunately staff members seem prone to distrust. Several merchants are just rude in their manners towards buyers and shoppers. Too many items are not clearly priced. It could be so much better with a little work. read more

In the cluster of antique malls and stores along this part of Route 66, Antique Specialty mall was one of the larger, better ones. A good mix of smalls, decorative, furniture and clothing. There's one particularly large booth in the back with a decent selection of Native American/Western items. It's also clean in here. The bathroom is clean. I cannot say as much for one of the stores on the next block...it's worth noting! The staff is super friendly and helpful, quick to open a case. I hope to return soon! read more

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but to notice how immediately as soon as I walk in with my brown family, I was asked to put my bag in the locker. No "please" no "thank you" not even a smile. A little later I observed two other white ladies stroll in with bags bigger than mine without any instruction to do the same. Racists, or at the very least unwelcoming. read more

I've been doing quite a bit of antiquing lately and this shop has settled in at the top of my list thanks to the generally high quality of vendor merchandise. The whole store is well-kept and easy to navigate (which is sometimes a challenge at multi-vendor stores). The emphasis is on vintage and antiques, not so much the flea market-y stuff. I've found some awesome bargains (an old wood industrial-style office chair recently), and always find a few items that tempt me. Definitely worth a stop, with a good mix of furnishings, jewelry, and other assorted items with prices ranging from very high-end to more moderate. Always enjoyable to browse, even if I don't leave with anything. read more

I really like going to this antique mall because I can always find something to buy - usually too many somethings that make a huge dent in my wallet. I don't think I've ever been in there when I've spent less than $50. I have found several pieces of my antique crystal in this mall. I also like that there is a dealer in this mall who has lots and lots of books. I like books. I am a bookaholic. My Excel spreadsheet has over 1000 books listed on it, and that doesn't count all of my Reader's Digest Condensed Books from Day 1. I've found several good additions to my library there. The main thing that I don't like about this place is that the owner/workers on Sunday (usually the only day I do there) bring their dog(s) and everyone who comes in the door is assailed by the dog - whining and barking. They also encourage their patrons to bring their dogs. I don't like that. Dogs do not belong in a place such as this. I'm okay with dogs, but they do not belong in the store where people might be afraid or allergic. I've spent much too much money here! read more

I really think that this is my favorite antique mall in 'Burque. I tend to come here more frequently than any of the others on this strip (though, Uneek Findings can be great, too!), and almost always leave with something awesome. I am a Frankoma collector (and apparently already 90 years old), and they tend to have the most turnaround when it comes to the items that I am after. And listen, they don't get mad if you're trying to haggle a lower price. That counts for a lot in my book. What I'm saying is, this place is a definite win. If you lean towards the old person tendencies of antiquing, you will absolutely be able to fulfill your desires here. read more

I used to spend a lot of money here and I wanted to come back and see it after being out of the state for awhile. We were shopping for about 20 minutes and suddenly this aggressive man said we had to lock our backpack in the locker. I asked if women had to do the same with their purses. He tried to avoid the answer by saying, "I don't want to have an argument here". I am offended because this is sexism. Either everyone has to lock their bags or nobody at all. Not just men. I won't be back in this store that I used to enjoy. Rude employees ruined the experience for me. read more
