Target executives are too greedy to pay workers but they will put basic needs behind lock and key in stores, geofence shopping carts which is ableist and limit quantity on self-checkout while only having one cashier on staff. Pay workers a thriving wage. read more

I don't know if it's because COVID cases have risen, but every time I've been to this Target they have next to nothing on the shelves or on the clothes racks. I went to look at the pj's, I couldn't find my size. I went to look in the shoes section, couldn't find my size in the colors I wanted. Some isles were just completely empty. I am hopeful they build a new one near Beaumont so the inventory hopefully goes back up. read more

Now Al typically works with self check out and he is the utmost professional and kind gentleman you will ever encounter. His approach to customers is kind and very generous to their needs. I guess I'm not sure what the hype is about this location or why it's always so packed here, but there's a reason why I stray away from it: they are ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS out of stock of most things! That isn't surprising, given that it's an overcrowded store, but it's still extremely frustrating! Throughout the cosmetic aisles, I kid you not, most shelves were completely empty! Kudos for them carrying vegan lines, but even those shelves were swiped clean; I'm not sure if it's because customers are buying items faster than employees can put them out or if this location is so understaffed that they're at a point where they don't have anyone to fill holes throughout the store. I came here for a specific vegan item by Pacifica (which, yes, you guessed it: they were out of!) and while I was on a hunt, I heard MULTIPLE other customers complaining about the shelves being empty too. The only pro in my opinion are the large number of self-checkout registers available; I only come here if it's my last resort and it'll remain to stay that way. read more

I got kicked out of Target Redlands with no warning by a manager name Stevie all because an employee feels uncomfortable with me. The explanation he gave me was my approach was bad and didn't elaborate on anything when I asked. I hardly even approach his team members no longer than 3-5 seconds either just being friendly or saying hi. Basically, I am guilty until I am proven innocent. I am not a mind reader and can't control how people feels. Sadly, they escalated the issue to me getting kicked out and defaming my character like I intentionally want to make people uncomfortable. I will say this, if they can't handle being approached and get uncomfortable over little things, customer service isn't for them. I worked customer service for seven years, no matter how I personally feel, I never kicked customers out unless they are violating store policies. Can't believe these Target employees would go that far based on their personal feelings. Yet again, their work culture is not customer friendly at least for the night shift. I never really seen them greet the customers, offer help, don't seem approachable, and they come off authoritative when directing customers. I been going to this Target for years. Use to be my favorite spot and the employees were more friendly. Now, these current Target employees created an environment where it's risky to approach them. Apparently, I can get kicked out as long as they feel uncomfortable and don't need a legitimate valid reason to do so. read more

Never stocked well. It's a high demand store and the supply does not meet that. Drive up often takes much longer than expected.

This Target has a terrible reputation for a reason. There are too many predatory people who go here with the intentions of preying on "naive, rich" Redlands women. We avoid this store unless accompanied by my husband, and only during the day. They'd be wise to hire private security. I'd imagine they're losing a lot of business lately. read more

I am so disappointed in this Target, I won't be going back to Target. There were 2 check out lines with long lines but there was plenty of self service check outs stations, went to one of those and then being told you should only have ten items. Maybe you should hire more people because I normally do not use the self service check out because I'm not paid by you but I do expect to see more service. Terrible experience here. Went through self check with clothing and nobody was around to remove the security tags. I got back in line to wait over 15 minutes for this lady to waste even more of my time. She meticulously checked my receipt like I stole them and even missed the tag on one of my items in the process. I had to come back a SECOND TIME, but this time I went to one of the people at self check that didn't even bother to help me from the get go..... Overall I like the items I struggled to get but damn it's a nightmare in there to shop. read more

I like that I can usually get in and out quickly in this store because of the self check out. Usually the process is quick, unless you accidentally scan something twice and need assistance. The good things is that the employees that are overseeing this area are fast to assist you. I find most of what I need here. If you order online and pick up that another awesome service this store provides as well. I am looking forward to ordering online and then having them bring the order out to my car! This Target store also has the food area, you can get popcorn or a snack. If you're not feeling that, then there's also a Starbucks and you can get something there. read more

I don't complain much but when I do, I do most my shopping at target at citrus Plaza on Sunday. Before the expansion and remodel I was always able to buy my cat litter at this target store. Now, every Sunday the whole section is completely wiped out. After being shut out three weekends in a row I decided to shop on Monday 10-04-21. All I can say is a picture says 1000 words. read more

I came in on a weekday morning and everything was nice and stocked except for one particular item I was looking for that is hard to find elsewhere. The staff was super friendly even asking if I needed anything because of the "I can't find what I'm looking for" face I had. Even the people that shop there were nice. Few times our gift cards have shown zero balances having never used them. We contacted target support services but they gave us the run-around with their, "we'll investigate and send an email!" I recently moved to the area and have been going to this Target for my home goods/groceries/etc as it is close and convenient for someone new to the area. Coming here a handful a times I am often met with a cold attitude in all departments- from the stock people, cashiers and return department. I like to go in the mornings to avoid the rush, and I understand that this is also the time when they are do most of their stocking. Rarely do they greet you, but will not hesitate to set their stock carts right in your path without a word. Constantly I am made to feel that I am inconveniencing them, and looked at with disdain. I don't quite understand this Target location. At a time when Walmart is planning on builidng a plaze next door, this Target locations enjoys keeping their shelves half-stocked. This has become such an increasing issue, I find other customers making the same commment when walking the aisles and the staff will agree with you but also let you know that they are this odd infinite "waiting for delivery" that never seems to arrive. It's rather sad that Target would allow this to happen, since they are so conviently located at the Citrus Plaza. We have started to take the drive over to Moreno Valley, which seems to have less crowds and is a Super Target, they have an expanded grocery section and more in-stock options all around. Sadly, once the Super Walmart has been approved in Redlands I have a feeling that Target will be feeling the squeeze. read more

We just visited this Target again today with our 5 year old. When we were done we went to the little food court area and ordered some drinks. A large coke, a smoothie and a cup of water. We realized that the water cup for our 5 year old didn't come with a lid so asked for a smoothie lid because the cups were the same size. (The smoothie came from the counter not from self serve area, so no chance of us stealing something different.) Anyhow, this young dictator decided he absolutely wasn't giving up an extra lid wether it was for a young kid or not, wether we had spent money or not, wether we asked nicely or not. So disappointed. This Target is located in a very nice center so I thought that the Target would reflect that! However, the experiences I've had there have only made it uglier and uglier in my eyes. Before I say anything more I'll point out that I've worked in the customer service industry. The staff is always in the worst mood. I don't care if your life is in shambles! All because almost every single time there was an employee named Vicente who always asked if I needed anything and if I did he would go out of his way to find it and always make it better. **NO MASK ENFORCEMENT** The safety of Target shoppers remains non-existent at this location. Walking into the store there was an over crowded mob, with many not wearing face masks at all. I spoke to the manager and she stated they are NOT allowed to enforce masks. If you are worried about COVID stay away from this store. The store is always crowded with a handful of shoppers roaming around maskless as if there is no pandemic. The only positive, is that the location is conveniently located 10 minutes away from my house and they have a great selection of food and beverage items. read more

One star because I was informed by an employee, after approaching them with the concern that there were 2 unmasked women in the store, that they were not enforcing mask wearing. So with that being said they have lost my business until they're able to abide by state and local covid protocols. I visited this location to buy a fitbit, and the employees working in the technology department were friendly, helpful and patient as i made my way through various fitness products. Every time i've done a target pickup they charge $1 for bags, every time they put the smallest thing in 1 whole bag then move on to the next when there is plenty of space in another bag. This target is HUGE. I came in to pick up some essentials and they were crazy busy. The parking lot is pretty open though since they're in a big plaza. I walked by their dollar section and they had it fully stocked with lots of goodies! Their clothing section was organized and had lots of options for spring time. I didn't see one piece of clothing on the floor, not even in the clearance area! The woman in the fitting room was really nice too. They have 2 self-checkout areas and they both could use better organization. I waited in line for quite awhile because there was a family at one check stand making several transactions with their full cart. Another woman had a full cart as well. Isn't self check out suppose to be fast? They use to limit it to 10-15 items and I think that's something they should go back to... read more

I have never had a problem at this target. With their renovation, it's only so much better. This store has always been good at staying organized and clean. It's always packed but even with a full parking lot, it's so big inside, it doesn't even feel or look super packed. The cashiers are always so friendly & will make conversation. What a joke this place is , so I got a job working for AP ! Went for one day of training and the amount of work they expected you to do for $15 an hour was a joke , I text the next day and said I sorry for the inconvenience I did not want the job, now dealing with HR trying to get my paycheck they're saying that I don't have my apartment number and there's no way to fix my address so my check could come to the correct place. If I knew how horrible I would have been treated from HR I would have definitely never took this job it's unbelievable!! read more

Update: In my last review I gave them a poor rating because that last few times I had been in, the women's department was filthy with clothes and shoes strewn all over the floor. It seemed like no one cared about keeping the place clean. This review is an update: Seems they've cleaned things up and are remodeling the entire store. They always have merchandise in stock, the aisles are wide, they have a lot of registers open at once so you don't have to stand in a long line, and the employees are friendly.
