This store is AWESOME. The layout is well designed, and the lighting is way better than comparative stores, like the harshly lit operating-room lights at WalMart or just plain depressingly dim KMart. I always love the clothes they have for women, juniors, kids and baby. The prices are actually fair. Check out the clearance area, I've gotten dresses for $3-$10! The guest designer idea was GENIUS and superbly executed. Waiting for the day when Marc Jacobs for Target rolls in! The few times I've not known where to find certain items I've always been able to spot a red-shirted employee within 10 seconds (they are EVERYWHERE), and they 100% of the time have been helpful, or gotten someone in the right dept. if what I need is not in their dept. I've even been led to the item I needed when they could tell I was a little confused by the directions. They quickly radio eachother for info, so the issue is quickly resolved and you are on youre way. Everything is calm and casual and flows at this store, no attitudes or grudgingly unhappy workers. As someone who shops here weekly, I would know. As far as the parking goes, unless you have some physical problem that hurts you to move your legs, it's just walking people!! Complaining about walking 3 car aisles over, or at the farthest point, 1/3 of a mile to the front door is just LAZY to me. Embrace the little bit of excersize you are getting in this overly-driven, elevatored and escalatored world we live in. And if you are actually pained and ailed by strolling to the front of the store, by all means apply for a handicap parking permit. This is a ridiculous thing to complain about. Walking is what you do in and all over the store, anyways. Lastly, when I've had to return items I've always been happy with the results. One time I didn't have a receipt, but it was a Target brand item, so they simply issued a Target store credit. Seems to me they are willing to work with you for a reasonable outcome when life throws little curveballs. I always liked going to this store, but the last few times the store has just been a mess. There have been products on the floor, low stock on shelves, and the bathrooms have been awful. I really hope they hire more people instead of just putting more self check out kiosks. It seems like whenever a store does too much of the self check out, the culture of pride and diligence among employees and customers dwindles. It seems they are understaffed and unrealistic about how many people shop their each day. read more

I love shopping at Target. However, the other day I had a bad experience with Sue. Sue was apparently in a bad mood and needs to work on her customer service skills! I was in the self checkout lane and Sue directed me to the register that was only accepting debit cards. I then proceeded to another register that would take my cash. This is when Sue became irate and yelled at me telling me that i needed to use the register she directed me to. I explained to her that the register only took debit cards. She completely ignored me and directed other cash paying customers to the same register. Worst Customer Service Ever! She should receive some type of training or be placed in the back where she does not interact with guests. Keep her negativity off the floor! read more

Outstanding organization for purchasing of paper products! During this crazy time, I have been to stores and watched people pile up loads of paper products among other things. This Target had an orderly line, workers assisting with the line and products, less than 5 minutes to get all the products we needed. This is the only Target I shop at when I need something from Target. It's nice,.neat & clean, the shelves are stocked & organized. This store has a food section which look nice but I personal have not used & I'm fine with it, lol. There are employees walking around should you need them. This is literally the worst Target by far. Every single time I go in here the employees always have an attitude for whatever reason. Guest service is horrible. If I ever have to exchange or return something the women at guest service are so rude. They always seem so bothered that they have to help out a guest. Worst customer service at the online pickup counter. Cherish is rude and unprofessional. Refused to allow me to pick up an online order although I had the email to prove I placed the order. As I was adding myself (the card holder and order placer) to pick up the order, she attempted to help someone else who walked up. I asked that she please wait until she was finished helping me as I was done adding my info. As her computer system didn't update she almost refused to give me the order I had just added myself to pick up. After placing the order on the counter she walked away and I had to ask if the transaction was complete as she never gave me a receipt or told me we were done. read more

This place is too busy. Plus the customer service sucks!!! I was in the return/ exchanges at guest service I got a few things on top of the exchanges I was about to make. The check out line was ridiculously long. It went all the way to the back of the store. No joke. So I finally got to the front the lady doing fa's called for any online pick ups. There wasn't any so she called the next guest. I did my exchanges. She had an attitude to start off with and then I told her I had some things to check out. She tried to send me to the check out lane. Because people started forming for fa's I was like can you read!? It says returns and check outs!!! Annie!! The associate at guest services helped two other people before helping me!! I was not pleased. I am never going to Redlands target again. read more

I LOVE Target! Target is my late night buddy when I have a sudden urge to buy a notebook or shampoo. It's just one of those places I like going to for no reason at all. This is a Target! It is a busy store and well stocked. We are not Walmart people so target is out place. The staff is friendly and helpful. They keep all the standards. Horrible customer service, the staff treats you like you owe them something! I returned an unused item here with a receipt in hand and the woman that handled my transaction didn't even speak when I said good morning to her... they make you feel like your return is coming out of their paycheck. There's always garbage on the floor by the entryway and in the shopping carts, lines are ridiculous here it looks like Black Friday every time I come because there's not enough cashiers. Calling all you yelpsters I was sooo mistreated at this store. I loved Target, notice the loved part. I'm pissed now because of what they have done to me. I went in on Monday to by some spanx lady's underwear, you know the kind. They cost $23.00 an they "hold you in." So I purchased the underwear and as the cashier was bagging it in a seperate bag, I thought oh this isn't good, and it wasn't. I put the basket in the cart inside the store and left. when I got home, no underwear. So, I called the store, the cashier was very nice and said come tomorrow and they will right the wrong. WRONG, they didn't, and so here comes this message. I told the courtesy clerk what had happened and she told me to get my underwear, which by the way when I bought it yesterday was the last one in a large. So, I went back and found one, not on the tricky little hanger that it usualy hangs on but, a generic one. Took it to the front and, the girl tells me that Loss Prevention is now viewing if I took the underwear out. Long story short, the film showed that I did not remove it from the basket and the manager on duty told me since I had left the register it's too bad. Now the kicker. I have worked in this store as a vendor, these people know me, so I was really mad they even saw that I didn't take the underwear, and since the day before it was the only size large and now there is another on a generic hanger it would make sense that I service hotline and got to talk to a person who had no grasp of the english language, he sais they will check into it. I felt like a common got screwed. really Target? for 23.00? I even called their customer criminal who really had done nothing wrong, they saw that I never took the product. Instead of making a spectacle of myself, I thought I would come here and let all my yelp associates know. I know I can't ask all of you not to shop at Target but, I did have a friend say she would call and tell Tony, that's the ETL, the nice word for manager on duty, that she would never shop Target again. Pros: decent customer service, it's clean, usually have everything on my list, decent prices, sometimes smells like popcorn, has a Starbucks, carts are always available, bathrooms are clean, customer service has always been friendly to me. Cons: Parking, it's located in Citrus Plaza, doesn't have a full grocery like Wal-Mart does (I LOATHE Wal-Mart), and that's about it. I really like this store. read more

Here's a classic example of how even a great store like Target will get your hard earned dollars with a bait and switch. Charmin mega 18pk for $16.99 and they also put 18pk mega plus for $20.99 mixed in the same place. Now there's no different price tag for the mega plus. They also say if you buy three you get a $10 gift card. As I'm put them in the cart it's "wait a minute" what's this. Walk to the card reader and low and behold A four dollar price difference for 18 rolls between mega and mega plus. Went back check the prices on the rack and no price tag at all for the maga plus 18pk. Asked security for a manager and the young lady I talked to said she would take care of it. Now I'm a target fan but just imagine how many people have bought toilet paper without looking at the fine detail and lost $4.00 because of their mistake. It just shows you have to always be vigilant. Think of all the Target stores and wow that's some money lost on our end and gained on their bottom line.... When I finally got help they told me that they had to take it up to the register because it's a highly shop lifted item.??? What?? So is the whole store. Is there something I am missing here? I never visit WalMart (does anyone anymore?!) so Target is my go-to place for essentials. I love their deals & especially love their UP brand products. You can get all sorts of their UP items for much cheaper than the name brand stuff but it does all the same, sometimes better! I do enjoy shopping here because unlike WalMart there is less chance of seeing disgusting pigs of people who trash the aisles & products as if they own the place. When you shop at WalMart you practically need a Kevlar vest to get out alive, but at Target you can get the same items, similar prices all for a much cleaner experience. The employees are always a hit and miss. I have found that if you are helped or rang up by an older employee (someone over 30) your chances of a pleasant experience increases vs. being helped or rang up by a teenager or early 20s year old person. Usually the younger employees seem spacier, vapid & bored, where the older employee knows a job is a job & is happy to have one. I deducted a star from Target because of the recent scandal that hit where the CEO made a large financial donation to an anti-gay association & political candidate. Unlike others though, I will not 'boycott' Target simply because I know that Target as a whole is very gay-friendly & hires LGBT employees all the time. To punish the employees trying to make a living because of the bonehead move of one idiot CEO doesn't add up to me. Plus it is still better than all of WalMart's corrupt practices. read more

I wish I could leave this store zero stars! We love target! We have shopped at this location since it opened! We have 2 kids and shop them often, unfortunately this local store just simply has bad management! I've managed retail my entire adult life and have never come across such a unprofessional manager such as Jermain. Coincidently he's been the "manager on shift" the two times I've had a concern and needed some help. Once while calling the store for an online same day delivery order from their store and once in the store. A third time I witnessed his horrible customer service toward a mom who was clearly struggling with some kind of issue... then believe it or not another time one evening I was in line and witness him get after a nice female employee who was directing some customers to the register but apparently wasn't doing it the way he wanted. He got after her in front of the customers and you could clearly see the female employee was embarrassed. Whoever is the head manager at this store and needs to open their eyes and do some kind of training with this so-called leader, I'm highly disappointed in his customer service and management skills! Get back to the basics! Treat your customers like you appreciate them! Make customers not only want to come back for your products but also for your customer service! Just because you're Target doesn't mean you should forget the things that matter! read more

I really like this target... it's always neat and clean... everything is always well stocked and everyone normally seems really helpful... cashiers are always very nice... the only reason i give it 4 stars is that when ive asked help in the toy dept. the man that is there is always so rude... i mean seriously... i wouldn't be bugging you if i didnt need your help... i was recently looking to purchase the bubble guns they have for the summer i wanted about 20 for my sons b-day party, but to my surprise they were all gone, all the summer toys were gone, so i asked the guy if he can help me find some ( i meant either here or a diff. store) but all he can do was point me to the opposite end of the store, i wasn't too happy at the least.. read more

I love this Target especially now that they have self checkout; yes, the lines to tend to get very long and the wait time seems unreasonable sometimes. This location gets crowded at times and sometimes it's hard to find parking. Other reviewers say that it's dirty and comparable to Wal Mart but it's no where near that. This location is huge and clean. It makes other Targets look and feel ghetto! The lighting is always bright and white...not the dingy dim and yellow look you get from other Targets. read more

Went in to get a Target gift card, when I gave it as a Christmas present, the person I gave it to said it had a $0 balance. When I went in the store they said we have to call the number on the card that target has nothing to do with it. It's such a hassle for the customer just to go through all that just because of a cashiers error. I had some other bad experience with this target in the past with customer service. Some of their food items I bought were expired too. Will not be coming back to this target and will make a complaint to corporate. I spent thousands here before and now regret it. And the restrooms! I love Target but I hate going there with my wife! Not one time have we ever walked past the women's clothing section without her stopping to check out the bathing suits and then its on to the shoes and more clothes. Then she heads on over to the home section and way to much time is spent there for sure. By the time she has finished looking at every new home item they are flashing the lights for closing time and we have to scramble to get the things we actually came for. Just stopped in to grab a few things and upon my entrance, I was already turned off. The front entrance trash cans were overflowing with trash, the entrance way where you grab a cart had trash all over the floor. Stopped at the bathroom and it was filthy, paper on the floor, stalls without tissue. I continued to the areas of the store where I was looking to purchase items and of course everything was a mess as if it were the holidays. Next, a casual browse through the tornado area of a women's department. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, but of course the lines. Four attended check out lanes with lines back up into the lobby and four self check out lanes with just as long of a line. Redlands Target really needs to step it up. read more

I love target stores but am so disappointed in REDLANDS. The store is filthy, clothes thrown in the aisles, not stocked like it used to be . I have lived in Redlands many years and shop weekly at this store. I'm embarrassed that our store looks the way it does. When I tried calling the 1-800 number and shared I wanted to talk about the store, I was hung up on. The Asst. Manager at the store was kind, but I felt like her hands are tied. For the social media person monitoring this post, I would appreciate an email or phone number of the district or regional manager so that I can communicate with them. It should matter to those in leadership that they have a store that reflects so poorly. I was told that there is no way for me to call them-I know that's not true. I used to love shopping at this Target here... When I DIDN'T coupon. Now that I do coupon, every time I come here -whether it's very early or late at night - the cashiers are always huffing and puffing. This cashier even grunted at me. I ignored her. But she continued to huff and puff. Management should really teach these cashiers to smile, even when people do bring in their coupons. You're still making money.
