It's perfect for quick runs when you don't feel like trekking to a larger store. The layout is pretty efficient for the space, and I can usually find what I need without wandering too much. Staff have always been helpful when I've had questions, and checkout moves fairly quickly. The only downside? The beer selection is pretty limited. If you're looking for variety or craft options, you might want to stop elsewhere. But for everyday basics, this Target is reliable and convenient for the neighborhood. Astoria is such a great place to visit in the city. I feel like Queens is a hometown atmosphere. This Target has a great selection and customer service. I love the collaboration between Target and John Derian. My daughter purchased this Squirrel Pillow for our 2025 Thanksgiving Decor. I highly recommend Target at this location. read more

I wish I had this target near my house it is two stories. They had a lot of in stock items. I love that there is more clothing area for men and women. I dislike that there's a small bullseye section. The store is very clean. Its ADA compliant so I love that. A lot of registers are open. There's also a changing room. The isles aren't crammed. There is a huge pet section. I couldn't find the video game section. The Halloween section i had to be pulled out of because I wanted everything in the isle. They have a great produce area as well. I would shop here more if I lived closer. They also take ebt. read more

The endless wait is over! This Target finally opened earlier this summer while its neighboring chain stores have been operating for way longer. From street level, you ride the escalator up one floor to enter the Target. The first floor has clothing, home goods, and groceries. Upstairs, you'll find personal care/beauty, a CVS, and children's stuff. It's a bright and clean store. It's not huge but if you need the basics, you can probably find them here. A fair amount of items are in locked cases though. I did have a less-than-ideal experience at the self-checkout. I wouldn't recommend it if you want to use coupons or have any problematic barcodes. The employee who came to my assistance was helpful and courteous though. You can have a human employee ring up your purchases if you prefer. Maybe between 3 to 4 stars but I'll round up! read more

I was so excited about the news that Target was coming to my area. I'm a huge fan of their store and typically shop at the College Point location. The thought of not having to schlep over there was great. I didn't know what to expect as I've been in much smaller formats and I always found the smaller format Target to be underwhelming. Not a lot of product. Tiny selections, etc. To my surprise, the 31st Street Target brought my hopes to life! A wide selection of products. A clean store. Attentive employees. Quick cashiers. A lovely experience altogether. I'm very impressed with their beauty and personal care section as they carry pretty much everything you'd expect. Their grocery section is also very impressive considering they aren't what were once known as "Target Greatland". Overall, I'm extremely happy with their existence. They put all the shopping in that area to shame. A perfect addition to the neighborhood. read more

Was a nice surprise to stumble upon this Target in Astoria as it makes it really convenient to pick up stuff on the way if you're hanging around the area. Their inventory I would say is on the smaller end so there's not as many variety for their sections such as grocery, clothing, health and beauty, but they had stock for the more high demand items. There are multiple self checkouts and the regular cashier as well and the line moved pretty fast. read more

It's hard to find much wrong with this place; the prices for some products are unbelievably low compared to local supermarkets and stores, and it really shows how ludicrous things have gotten with no competition in the neighborhood. It's new, clean and stocked with an insane array of merchandise, even a full-on toy section. Target store brand isn't terrible, but can be hit-or-miss. Some prices are also oddly higher than other stores in the neighborhood, but I'll put that down to pricing quirks. They also mostly carry major brands as you'd expect, so I find myself going elsewhere for more eclectic things. read more

I have no idea how Target is getting these reviews but here is mine. I purchased a vinyl record on line. When I did, Target said they had six records in stock. If you are thinking about driving there, DONT! There is nowhere to park except for a small parking lot in the back of the store. If you are lucky enough to get a parking place, you have to walk through an ally way about a block and a half. Since I am disabled that was out of the question for me. Who ever was in charge of choosing this location for a Target store should be FIRED or worse! I decided to go on 31st Street and wait for a parking place. I waited 1/2 hour. Now I am into the store. both the up and down elevators are broken and only the UP escalator works so I (disabled) was looking forward to "walking" down the escalator when leaving the store. I finely got to the 2nd floor pick up desk. They informed me that they were out of the particular record I wanted. They said they sent me an email which they did, but the store said they had six copies of the record two hours ago. I will blame myself for not looking for the email they sent but all else is on them. This is a horrible location for a Target store. Zero parking on 31st Street and over a long blocks walk IF you can park. The train and bus are an option but not a good one for me. Thank God they have shipping. I visited the Target at 37-15 Ditmars Blvd, Queens, NY 11105, looking for cologne. One employee initially spoke to me in Spanish, even though I only speak English, and laughed at me. Another employee's tone felt dismissive. I requested polite and professional service, and a different team member kindly assisted me.
