This is just the latest in what I have come to expect from this particular Target. After heading up to the upper floor of this Target to pick up a few things, including lightening charging cables; I paid for my purchases there at the electronics counter. As I exited the store through the exact same doorway, I had entered through, the security sensor went off. I stepped back into the store and the security guard asked me for my receipt and took a quick look in my bag, suggesting that a clothing item may still have a security tag. I then walked over to a register nearby and asked a cashier to help me locate and remove the security tag triggering the door sensor. Taking all my items out; absolutely none of them had a security tag. So I went back to the same exit and the sensor didn't go off from the bag but went off as I walked through. I handed the bag of purchased items to the security guard and stepped through the sensor with nothing but what I entered the store with and it went off. The security guard then states, "you can go, I trust you." But I was already embarrassed and felt targeted; especially seeing the mom of another kid that attends my son's school. She wouldn't even look at me as she got her shopping cart; lord only knows what she thought I stole. Then the kicker is, I was already a bit delayed as I just wanted to pickup a few things from Target with the spare time I had until pickup time for my son from school. The sensor didn't go off at all as I walked through it that final time. I absolutely believe I was being targeted as I have encountered inappropriate surveillance and requests to view my receipts (while other patrons passed without them batting an eye); as well as refusal to print me gift receipts for gift cards that I purchase for gifts. I believe the usual security--who may be used to seeing me--weren't around; therefore, I once again fell prey to unfair profiling this particular Target store engages in. read more

Target Queens Blvd holds memories after all these years. Before we had a Target in East Harlem this is the trek we took to get good prices at Target. Then we were so happy for years with our big Target on East 117th Street. By the time they decided to close our favorite big Manhattan store they opened up small stores around Manhattan. I'm recommending you keep this place busy before it's closed. Shopping in a mini Target is not much fun anymore. More and more I have to get my favorite brands through Target online for delivery. read more

I had to pick up some storage bins with lids. It was pretty quick. I ran in and out the weather outside was damp. It was raining so I didn't get a chance to get the full shopping experience but Customer Service was good. Service was quick nothing negative to say about the experience. I like the fact that you could pay for parking through your phone. I ordered the merchandise online so I didn't have to wait. I thought it was a pretty good value for the money. read more

This is a great target to go for certain things, such as the clothing section seems great for men and women and the toys section seems to have a nice variety of figures from GI JOE CLASSIFIED to Marvel to WWE to DC Mulitverse with a variety of figures and vehicles. The food section is great too, you can get like Starbucks Keurig coffee or King Hawaiian rolls and other variety of foods. The lineup for check out is usually a beast so I should take off one point just for that. Overall, this is a great place to shop. read more

What does Target have to do with my mobile phone service? Lemme back up... I'd stopped in to return something that I'd ordered online, As soon as I hit the entrance, I asked the girl (security? Greeter? Both?) where to go to return an item. She said, upstairs. I go upstairs and there's a male employee not far from the top of the escalator. I ask where to return an item. He showed me, and then asked me if I have Verizon or T-Mobile. Part of me wishes I'd said one or the other to see where the conversation was going. But, I had other stuff to do so I said as I walked away, "I have neither. I have Mint and am very happy with it." Then I went to return my item. Return process was easy-peasy. read more

I usually do not shop at this target. It appears big, but this target just doesn't have the stuff that I need. What I do go to at Target is for the CVS pharmacy to pick up medications for family members. While I am there I pick up some scones and muffins. There really is not a lot of great bargain to be found here as compared to the past. Definitely look at weekly circulars to see current sales for the week. The escalators heading up towards Target one side if often not working so be prepared to walk up the escalator or take the elevator. Found checkout staff not be as friendly nor helpful it's as if they do not notice you as your standing to wait for the next self checkout is open. I had to look and see which one open because staff just stood there. Another customer had to flag him down for assistance. Other staff putting away items and whiz pass the customers and busy talking and entertaining themselves. I am not impressed with this Target. read more

As soon as I walked in, I noticed two security guards at the door. The store was brightly lit and very neat. While the selection was decent, this is definitely one of the smallest Targets I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning, simply because I usually like to spend hours exploring everything Target has to offer--but here, I was done in just 30 minutes. It's not easy to find someone for help. They have the "help button" but unlike how it is in a pharmacy, for example where once you press the button, it makes a announcement saying "help needed in the toothpaste aisle" this one has no sound, but instead a censor. That can be very confusing & the longer you wait, it makes you think is it even on?!? There is no indication that your request has been successfully sent. I think that's a terrible idea. There was only 3 self check out registers on a Friday evening open. Another terrible idea. This store & mall area in general is very chaotic & I try to stay away actually. I was in the area & needed a few things for traveling, so that's why I even come in. read more

This Target is much like all of the other Targets when it comes to the layout and the items that they sell, so there isn't much to talk about in those terms. I do like that this location seems to have workers that seem to be enjoying their job and are helpful and ready to point you in the direction you need to go if you are lost and cant find an item you are looking to purchase on your trip here. The place always has a great amount of parking readily available and the parking lot is lit nicely so I don't feel unsafe when I am shopping here and walking to my car at night. They also have workers in the front that greet everyone that walks in as well as making sure no one is walking out with items that they may not have legally bought. The prices here are generic however there are a few items that you can easily get cheaper at other chain stores around the area if you do not need it in an emergency! I have never walked into this location and not been able to buy something because it was out of stock. These shelves seems to be endless and always stocked with every item that I have looked for when coming here. They also always have a seasonal section in the back corner that is always fun to look and see what new products they got in for the holiday that is coming up! read more

PSA announcement there is a new Target that just opened up in Brooklyn NY Kings Plaza mall where Sears use to be and if you know me personally let me tell you I love me a Target and I was there opening day which I believe was August 19th :) I was definitely all smiles, especially seeing that it was three floors of lusciousness. I couldn't help but pick up a few items especially in the food section. The price range is the same. I am a big foodie lol. This Target is one of the largest in New York City. Usually the Targets in New York City are small in Manhattan and large in Queens and luckily for this one. There are 2 levels and there are escalators and elevators to go up and down. The escalators are shopping cart friendly where you can place the shopping cart on the escalator. The customer service team is much larger in this location and they carry more merchandise compared to the other Targets. More baby stuff, cleaning products, more clothing selections, pantry items, and home goods. Plenty of self checkouts and in person cashiers in this place. Self checkouts are only for 10 items or less and the time I was there it was pretty long on the first level compared to the second level so mind the wait if you go shop during busy hours. They have 2 different types of target shopping tote bags, one standard size and one large size. You have to ask the staff for the large shopping tote bag because they are not available in the self checkouts. read more

Super satisfied with this location! I ordered ahead of time online and the store had many different items available for pickup so quickly, kept my perishables nice and chilled, and got my order 100% correct. Unfortunately they ran out of 1 item however notified me super promptly which helped give me time to plan another method of getting it. I definitely trust Target for all of my needs ranging from toiletries to beverages to produce to baby shower gifts. read more

This Target always disappoints me. My favorite section in the store is Bullseye's Playground/The Dollar Spot & this one always looks like a bomb went off in it. What little is there is a wreck, but it's usually mostly empty shelves with boxes of merchandise stacked up nearby that nobody has bothered to put on the shelves. The entire store is picked over & messy, especially in the clothing & shoe sections. The grocery section is hit or miss. Again, empty shelves. I don't even attempt to shop in the beauty or pharmacy sections because I don't have time to wait for staff to come open the locked cabinets. I only come here once or twice a year and every time I'm reminded why. If you have other options, avoid this one. read more

click my account for the photo !! - I doubt anyone reads target reviews, but i wanted to make this situation as public as i can to get this man fired or worse after what he did. here's the full story: there were two boys riding the bikes on display in the store, they are only 17 and didn't realize you couldn't do that (the bikes are on display and you can easily take them out to probably test ride / see if it's a good size). obviously a worker came up to them and told them to get off, he was nice and just doing his job! (not the man in this photo). so the boys got off the bike and that's fine it was chill, but then this man came up to them and made a situation out of nothing. the boys were already off the bike with no problem. this man in the photo is a security guard, he thought he could abuse his power since he has the upper hand by being security, but he is wrong. i am a 16 year old female, i had nothing to do with the situation, but i know the boys and when we were walking out he cornered me and came right in my face, so close i can smell his hot breath and he was basically spitting on me. he involved me for no reason, he cornered me and made me shake in my legs. im just a little girl, 5ft and 90 pounds, he cornered me and made me feel so unsafe and scared. as a little girl in the city you never know what these men will do. he told me "get your little man..(i couldn't focus on the rest, i was too scared). he really scared me, he also threatened the two other minors/boys to fight him since he clocks out in 15 minutes. i will be taking this to the police and also reported it to the staff but i feel as though they won't do much. again, i had nothing to do with the situation and he came up to me and cornered me and tried to make himself seem superior to me for no reason. i was shaking and about to cry when i was reporting it but held back and stood strong. the way he also threatened the boys/minors was so uncalled for. he is such a freak and i hope he gets fired and reported. as a security guard u should be making people feel safe. he wanted his name known, and now he got that, but for the wrong reasons. if you're reading this, you only get paid $16 an hour.. why get involved with something that was already politely finished?? u don't get paid to act the shit and threaten minors. i felt harassed. i'm just a little girl. please report this weirdo. This location is wonderful when you go as soon as they open up. I had did an online order for pickup. There was no line and someone saw me immediately. This was the first time I went to a target and got only one item. The customer service is really nice and patient. Every time I go the person checking me out with my items are friendly. I have yet to use the bathroom here, when I do you will be updated. This location is close to the grand street station if you are in the back of the train coming in from Jamaica. If you are coming in from Manhattan you need to be in the front of the train. read more

I haven't been to this Target in a very long time mainly because I feel like getting in and out of this area during certain times can be hectic. Lots of traffic, cars as well as people. There is usually parking but not always close to the entrance. The store itself is two levels and I like the way it is spread out. Plenty of space between aisles as well. There are also escalators for the carts in case you want to shop between floors and don't have to take the elevator, which they have as well. Good location to shop. read more

I visited this "Tarjay" a few nights ago while on the hunt for items from the Vineyard Vines collection, which as I'm writing this is essentially sold out online and hard to find in-person. It's attached to the Queens Place Mall, resting at the top floors with other mall staples (Red Lobster, Macy's Backstage, Outback). There is a paid parking garage attached to the mall, but I parked a few blocks away in the residential streets to save some coin. It's not the easiest to find, but it's possible if you're willing to walk a few minutes. Situated in the bustling nabe of Elmhurst, at this Target I was surprised to find a generous amount of the designer-collab items here (perhaps the locals aren't fans of the ubiquitous whale). I went after work on a weeknight, so it wasn't crowded, and there were plenty of staff keeping the store tidy (putting away carts, organizing the shelves, picking up rubbish). I also grabbed some pantry items, and this Target was neatly laid-out like other standard stores. It's far from the biggest Target and not even close to cleanest Target around these parts, but for those of us who have a soft spot for this suburbanite shopping chain, beggers can't be choosers. Located in the loathsome Queens Place Mall, this Target has come a long way. For awhile this was much like the mall of yesteryear: a bit dingy, a lot of an eyesore, dated, and the kind of staff that drives people away. Things weren't looking so good. Then they underwent a renovation to look like a halfway decent Target. The place looks newer, the aisles are cleaner and things are better than they have been in years. I managed to find something here the other day that was not in stock for miles of stores except good ol Elmhurst. But where there is a Target, there is almost always crowds. The staff hasn't seemed to improve a whole lot customer service wise and as a result this place can get cluster'y real quick. Shoot for an off day and avoid weekend rush hours if possible. read more

The guy in the info/registration on top flr of target gave us wrong info, we were trying to ask about the vacuum and told us that whatever is in the display is all they have left.. but then the isle is pretty empty with just photos of the item. also online says they have a stock.. so we asked another person and to find out that their items are on the store room and will bring us the item that weve asked (we almost gave up on buying it) Also we found a good sale, couple of boxes has sticker sale price on it so we were convinced that its correct, we got to the cashier and told us that its on orig price ( since it is not updated in the system it made us look like we put the sticker ourselves!) we did some double checking and yes it is actually on sale price. I come to this particular target store on the regular, it isn't the biggest store by far but it is located one of queens mini malls right on queens blvd. Easily accessible by train or bus .and for a lot of queens residents this is one of the closer targets .we do not have to many targets stores here in queens. I believe the other 2 are in flushing sky view center. And college point queens. I like the target stores In general. But to have one in your backyard is pretty cool. This one may not be the best One.compared to some of the target super stores but it serves it purpose .me and my wife go food shopping here sometimes. And they have some really good variety of frozen food and pastries. We came across some cheese cake factory cheese cakes in the box.really good from there white raspberry truffle cheese cake, chocolate mousse cheese cake,strawberry topped original cheese cake ,snickers bar chunks and cheese cake, A nice variety . So really can find some really interesting stuff in target. The atmosphere is upbeat and this place is usually crowded but it is better than some of the other target branches. Were they are over crowded. I never had any problems with staff here they seem to be pretty helpful and courteous. The That's why I'm giving them 4 stars . read more

Yesterday at about 4pm, I was shopping with my two children when this elderly, skinny/small framed man bumped into me saying sorry with a Spanish accent. He then appeared in another isle as I was walking with my stroller and two small kids, I didn't think too much about it because you do tend to see the same people as you shop sometimes.... Then as I was doing self-checkout upstairs, my stroller shook with my child in it, and the same man was behind my stroller, looked at me, said sorry, and ran off. He stole my phone, out of the stroller with my child in it, in front of many people. How is anyone safe to shop?? Target told me to go to the precinct, the precinct told me to go back to Target, call 9-11, so the police can sweep the store first, then I would be able to file a report. If Target or the police think I am going to do their jobs for them, they are deeply mistaken. What I will do is write this review for everyone to see, especially for parents and young girls. This Target location is NOT SAFE and you are being watched by predators. I was followed for an hour with my two small kids by a man that watched me to rob me, I feel violated, and not one thing can be done to protect me or my children by the store or by the police. Do yourselves the biggest favor and either order online, or order pick up. DO NOT SHOP INSIDE this store and have your eyes open please!!!!!!! I will never come to this location again. read more

It's a Target, identical and indistinguishable from the dozens out there in America's heartland and everything in-between. Avoid this place on the weekends if you don't feel like standing on a painfully long line. It's good for necessities (food), cheap furniture if you're just starting out (if you're an IKEA fan, Target is probably next on your list), and the nostalgia factor since it has a DVD and book section (good for us older folk who miss the good ol' days of pre-streaming video and bookstore browsing). Outside of that, I don't shop here. The clothes, handbags and sunglasses may look cute, but they're not made to last - fast fashion landfill-friendly crap. If you must have this crap, wait a few months until it ends up in Goodwill and you'll get it for a song. Since I care about the earth, I'd rather buy my clothes and bags from a high end consignment shop - that's where you get real quality for less. Bring your own bag as Target charges you five cents for its own branded gray Target bag if you forget. I take my own reusable bag everywhere and have never had to pay the five cent tax. Ever. Judging by the number of times I've seen people carrying the five cent, gray Target bag, however, I can tell how many people forget and carelessly throw away their hard earned money unnecessarily. Seeing that stupid Target bag everywhere also tells me that everybody seems to be struggling, as everyone and his mother seems to shop there. Shopping at Target can be depressing because there are few alternatives for those who yearn for something higher quality but can't afford Nordstrom's. Target is the cheapo version of what used to be the middle class department store, like Alexander's. It has a little bit of everything but nothing is high quality. Most of what they sell is cheap and disposable. Since department stores have mostly disappeared, Target is the only facsimile left for people who miss browsing in a well-stocked general store. This is about card dispute. Ipaidmy bill in store. After shopping I had $29.00 over paid. Target sent me check for over payment. I never got the check it was stolen from post office. Their cashed check. Target refuses to track and find out who cashed check. It is now 4 months since check was cashed.Target seems to think tough luck we sent check. If I owed them money for 4 months I would pay $40.00 a month late fee plus higher interest on total. TARGET SUCKS. read more

This Target has more stuff than the one in Jackson Heights but Target needs to get their ish together. They always close the self check out on the 2nd floor when it gets busy so the line on the first floor gets even longer. I know they deal with a lot of shoplifters but locking up the soap and toothpaste no shoplifter is going to take a shower or brush their teeth and I don't think they can re-sell that crap in a bodega. read more

My friend wants to buy a mini refrigerator and we checked on Target website that they have it in this location. But when we went there and asked a staff. Nobody knows where is it. The staff just said if we don't see it, it is mean they don't have. We walked around and couldn't find it. Then my friend wanted to buy a set of bowls since we were there but because of super long line we decided to just order everything online I feel very sad for lots of businesses during COVID-19 amd I don't know before the lockdown if Target has less staff and customer can't find anything. read more

The best day to shop here is on a Sunday, preferably late night! It's quiet, lines move efficiently, and there's no crowd. There's deals up the wazoo. I came here specifically for work pants but decided against them since I have a shipment coming tomorrow. I believe I may be back because the work pants I browsed were $22 and of quality material. However with that being said I walked away with items that weren't truly a necessity, but I just couldn't pass up a sale. I've bought many tees but nothing was as comfortable as the Merona silky feeling t-shirts that I purchased yesterday. Originally $10, they were marked down to $5.40. I also found the compression jacket I was looking for. There was no sale on that ($30). Roughly the same amount I would've paid at Old Navy. I'm happy. read more

3.5: The recent renovations definitely helped to revitalize this Target- it looks way, wayyyy better. Prior to the renovations, aisles felt cramped, things were a mess, and the atmosphere was just uninviting. I didn't enjoy shopping at this particular location. Now the aisles feel wider, everything looks sparkling clean, and even the lighting seems a bit brighter! I was also never able to find the dollar spot/bullseye's playground stuff before renovations. Now there's a dedicated Bullseye Playground section on the second floor and they have some pretty decent seasonal items. They've been pretty good about updating it for the various holidays so far (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas/New Years). A good place to purchase an absurd amount of cute stuff for kiddos, party supplies/favors, and seasonal decor for the home or office. However, someone should check on these items from time to time as I've found a few damaged items (e.g. a chipped bowl, opened items...). It can also get pretty messy with people rifling through everything. I think they expanded their fresh food section, but the prices are higher than nearby supermarkets. I also don't see a lot of good sales for snacks, so I rarely buy food from here. Definitely try to get here early morning or you'll have to wait a bit at checkout (even for self-checkout!). read more

Good location, reasonably spacious, and majority of time I can find the items I look for from here. Cause I have another mini-Target to go, I don't stop by this store that often. Originally my feeling was it's kind of messy and not well organized. But I have found it became more neat and bright recently. And they obviously expanded the area for food and groceries. When you ask anyone anything they make you feel like your being a nag and just in general the workers can be a little intense and won't ask if you need help which is a small gesture to show that your being attentive to the customers around you. I'm a retail worker and I can tell when they're not being the best. The selection is mid too since it's such a popular store if you don't come early on stock day don't come at all. And they NEVER answer there phone so you have to go in person to figure out if they have something or not cause you will not be getting through to anyone otp. read more

This Target is very busy since its located near the subways and Long Island Expressway. If you come towards the end of the day, expect most of the things disorganized and messy. But you can definitely find what you need at this location. Sales are quite frequent on grocery and home goods which is what keeps me coming back for more. Two levels, first one is for groceries, women's clothing, and personal care items. Second level is for kids, toys, electronics, home goods, men's clothing and fast food with a Starbucks. From experience, it seems like the second level checkout is faster than the first. Although there are more first level checkout counters open, there are also more customers on the first floor. read more

We found ourselves at Target more than usual during quarantine simply because with limited options it was something to do & one of the limited options for shopping, it was/is not bad but as we all know Target is dangerous it's hard to go into target & just simply not come out with way more than u expected! First trip during the quarantine we were able to just walk in, which I found it to be odd? but nice of course but by the next few trips u had to go to the roof top parking area ( nice views fyi ) & line up to go inside the store Line was pretty long each time but it moved rather quickly which was good, wait times average 5-10 minutes. Food area is where I tend to get in trouble they have a lot of bakery style breads which I love , plus so many good choices. Lines where long but not terrible social distancing in place & all things considering they did their best to keep things running smoothly. I didn't find that they had a lot of sales during quarantine which of course was not great, my main shopping consisted of food items plus the occasional things that we found we needed. Overall this Target is not bad, I've been here more than my fair share & shopping has always been quick & easy with no issues. read more
