We've all sat by, patient waiting for this remodel because it really caused a ripple in our stress free shopping experience, but everyone needs some change sometimes so we waited. Patiently. But now.... first of all, it's a maze. Can't find a thing! I'm sure I'll get used to it, but completely changing the isles to the complete other side of the store REALLY is annoying. There was nothing wrong with the store to begin with so why would try to fix something that isn't broken?! But you want to know my BIGGEST complaint?? I used to LOVE going to target because of your " distraction free" shopping by keeping it quiet and not playing music. Why would you do this?! You were the one place people could go to shop without shitty ass music blaring out the ceiling and now you're just same shitty corporate department store as all the rest of them. How in the world does this target have a low rating? ( I actually know since I read some of the many ridiculous and unrealistic comments by self entitled raters.) The store is extremely clean, the staff is polite and helpful, and the entire place is organized. Almost every employee greeted us, asked if we needed assistance, and acknowledged us as we left. I love that we have a Target in North County. I live nearby and it's great that they're open early and stay open late (compared to other places). I don't usually look for employees for help as I like to shop and explore on my own. So the lack of good help here isn't an issue for me. They do have the stuff I want in stock so far as I've found anyway. It's usually clean, and they have a decent food and produce section (nothing crazy in terms of produce but a few things). The dry goods are well stocked, and they have a bunch of La Croix flavors (even the hard to find Key Lime!). Good choices of mens clothing, and even more women's clothing (of course), and lots of Joy Lab branded stuff, which my fiance loves. The self checkout is super handy and there is a Starbucks inside here. So yea..it's good! read more

REALLY appreciate having the ease of online shopping for either shipping to my home or pick-up at the store. As soon as your pick-up order is ready - in usually less than 30 minutes(!) - you get a cheerful text letting you know it's there. Nice! HOWEVER, and this is pretty huge: why, why, why are there not more organic items stocked and available for same-day pick-up? Tried placing an order for organic almond milk. Not available, but it can be shipped in a few days. Um, okay.... Then, how about organic rice milk? No? Organic coconut milk? Not that either? Are you kidding? In this renowned farm-to-table, sustainable agriculture community, Target Paso doesn't stock organic milk alternative options? Can't believe there's no demand (in this age of food sensitivities?), so why not make them immediately available to your customers? There's something wrong with being able to pick up a healthy brand of dog food for my pet, but not any of the desired organic items for my family. read more

I had a card malfunction, which I obviously didn't anticipate because shit happens, and the lovely cashier helping me decided the best course of action was to make me feel like I was trashy and trying to steal. Because, yknow, people who love to steal always try going to pay for their shit at the register first, right? I will never come back to this one if I can help it. I'm wondering who is going to get fired for this remodel. Loud music makes a horrible distraction. I avoid half the store because it's blaring loud music that makes me want to run people over. And the layout is HORRIBLE!!! Apparently they moved the entire store to fit more alcohol in it. There is a bevmo a few doors down...so we have all the drinks that are needed. The flow of the store is horrible, I mean horrible!! They have made so many oversights in this store. On our trip there today we must have heard at least three times where the vacuums are. They actually forgot them in the plans! There is no grocery store in this shopping center, and Target decided to take out more food. They totally missed the mark on this. Target - what can one say? The go to for almost everything. Tonight needed a can of sliced mushrooms. Hmmm wasn't sure I would fine them at Target but of course I did!! Not a fan of the new design yet as I have not figured out where everything is so I wander and pick up more than I actually came in for - maybe this was part of the plan all along!?!? Good quality clothing and shoes, sunglasses are a bargain, and shampoos and other beauty stuff generally Is a steal. I used to be a Target fanatic! I loved my shopping experiences at Target. But since the "remodel" I am no longer a Target fan. I find the layout makes no sense, the shelf space seems to have diminished on the items I buy, and the atmosphere seems...off. I had trouble finding the things I needed and when I did find the correct spot for the department, the items I usually buy were not there. Went there the other evening (Wednesday night) and the manager Jen was very rude to me. I asked her where something was and she seemed very annoyed I asked then sent me to the wrong aisle. Being a manager, I was surprised. She seemed to be running a crew that evening and they were all doing things other than working I noticed. One was on her phone, the other showing one of the guys a picture on her phone and the out her woman I saw was complaining she was hungover. Super nice staff, but beware.... if you go to return an item and "think" it's on a receipt you have, and it's not, they will question whether you actually paid for it. I went to return a few items on what I thought was one receipt and one item wasn't on there. She processes my return on the other items and then asked if I had another receipt, I said no and mentioned I was surprised it wasn't on there. However, considering how many times I shop there in a month, not out of this world. The lady them makes a comment about how it's not uncommon for the clerks to miss swiping an item and it goes unpaid for. In my 3 decades of shopping at Target, I've NEVER seen them miss an item at check out. They are meticulous and take their time ensuring ring up. She then says they can keep the item for me if I want to go home and check for another card or receipt. She did not want to give me the product back (which is a $25 dress). I had to raise a little bit of a stink which was super uncomfortable, and let her know I walked in with the item and was not ok leaving without it. She says, "Well I'd hate for you to get credit on an item that you didn't pay for". Ummm. No. Again, raised my concern and reiterated that we didn't know that for sure just because it's not on one receipt or card. She finally offered to try a no receipt return with my ID, which should have been the first offer versus putting me in a totally uncomfortable position. Otherwise, love the staff, just a one off situation but wanted others to be aware of their potential return philosophy. read more

And if they Didn't enforce masks when masks were mandatory it was because they wanted to keep their team members safe from aggressive guests that might react negatively if asked to put their mask on. Target has never had an extensive inventory of items that's why I usually shop at Walmart, but today I buy pepper ridge goldfish crackers as a snack and a few other items and when I leave the store and taste them they taste stale I should have looked at the date before I bought them but almost 2 months out of date. Instead of having a person coughing and asking if you'd like to buy a bag in the self check out lane maybe labor would be better spent checking code dates on food products. read more

This target was super clean, not like my local targets. But they didn't have any of my favorite things in my size! They had xs and xxl. They had enough cashiers on the registers so the lines weren't long. The Starbucks inside is huge! I will say on my way inside the restroom there was an employee waiting to clean it who was trying to direct me to the restroom in the back. He said he was waiting for everyone to get out, I said ok well there are people in there right? I'll be right out.... he huffed and puffed and then rolled his eyes. This Target does have like a K-Mart feel as another person mentioned. It's a typical store layout with the newly added grocery area. It's pretty well stocked in my opinion and the seasonal area always has good selection of merchandise. Personally I like this location because its never to busy. The employees could use some improvement in efficiency but I know its hard to change people in that aspect (mainly speaking about the cashiers). Just pay, don't ask them any questions and you should be off on your way in a jiffy. If this store got a facelift it would look just as nice as any of the other newer locations. read more

WORST customer service. I have put my foot down and flat out will not go there anymore. I go to this store about 1-2 times a week and I've accepted the trashy management staff they employ. The checkers are usually very pleasant, but if you ever speak to or are around the management staff, don't have your kids around because they are always complaining about their job, or dropping F-bombs. I've even heard this kind of garbage over their personal mic-sets so everyone gets to hear their pleasantries exchanged. It's like a cool job for the local losers and they have no tact or professionalism, even for Target standards. I've given this place so many chances, but I'm done. This past experience I had to pull teeth to avoid getting ripped off during a return where the clerk didn't have the brain power nor the incentive to give my refund properly because GOD FORBID she missed her lunch break. Every time I go they are completely out of stock of items, for months because someone in administration can't properly handle their product and have it ordered to be on the shelves. I was getting a clarification over a prescription once and I had a team member shout at me about very sensitive information over the entire staff working back there, and for all customers within earshot to hear. I was blown away that this person couldn't walk over and speak to a customer and needed to shout. You're working in pharmacy handling peoples personal business not running a cattle yard! It's just disappointing to see a store that I like to shop at managed so poorly. I suggest you find other places to give your business to. read more

The Paso Robles Target is my main bathroom stop on my way to SoCal (from SF). It's fairly new looking and you can see it from the 101. The bathrooms are by the entrance, so you can dart in and out quickly, if you don't have time to shop. There's also a Starbucks on site. It's in a strip mall close to Ross and some other chain stores. Though this isn't a Greatland, the aisles are wide and they have a larger area devoted to groceries than the average Target. The store looks clean and organized. The downside is that it doesn't carry as much of the Go International line as other locations. read more

This target store is very well maintained and well organized, they have great deals and the staff is very kind with the exception of the Pharmacy staff. The pharmacy staff, the pharmacist in particular is extremely judgmental and rude. I have never been so insulted by a pharmacist. I have a few medications that I need filled monthly, I decided to try and switch my pharmacy over to Target's pharmacy after my current pharmacy has shown poor performance and mixed up my medications. When I brought my prescription to the pharmacist at Target, after making me wait for 2 hours, he REFUSED to fill the prescription after he questioned me about the reason I wanted to switch from my current pharmacy. One of my medications is a rare medication and he was quite rude to me. I am a loyal customer of Target, which is why I won't give less than 4 stars, but they really need to replace their pharmacist or issue an apology to me over his behavior, because it was completely uncalled for. read more

This store is getting pretty tired. Its dirty, messy, disorganized. The staff all seem to always be irritated. If they're not busy, though, you can have a pleasant exchange with employees. As far as product, I don't expect much from the product sold there, unless it is a brand name like Lego, or Kitchen Aid. The carts are so dirty, I feel like I'll catch a nasty virus. Or worse. The store is clean and the remodel looks great! It took a while to find the new location of items, but now I can find everything I need. I love that they added music to the store! Absolute WORST customer service. I ordered a desk online the beginning of August, which was GREAT pricing and shipping was free using my red card, it said it'd be here in 5-7 business days..the shipping co. called and said, "they wouldn't have anybody in my area soon" so they wouldn't ship it until the 28th of AUGUST! It showed up and they left it at my house damaged. I called to return it and they arranged for pick up, they said they could offer me free shipping and to buy the desk again at the same discounted price I origially bought it at. REALLY?!?!?!? I already get free shipping using my red card and they SHOULD give me the same disc. price I originally paid, it's not my fault it was damaged! I ordered another one which was a mistake, they couldn't guarantee me it'd be here in the 5-7 business days like they state and who knows if it'll be damaged again. I called to stop the order and they said they CAN'T do that. Ridiculous! Hopefully I won't get charged and have to pay for both since my red card is due soon. So stupid. This is about associate whose name is Jorge (works in the electronics department). I forgot to write down the tech expert guy's name (older fellow), so will just use him as "T.E.". T.E., was helping out my mom activating and going through the procedure of getting one of the iPhones. Jorge came over to the counter telling my mom to scoot over so he can put all his merchandise on the counter with huge boxes; few moments later T.E. just nudge the box maybe like a few inches over, so he can have space to unboxing the iPhone. Jorge made a huge deal about it, raising his voice at T.E., that's it's his space. All of this could have been handled to the side. From the start Jorge just did not have any good attitude. Making myself and my mom uncomfortable. I felt sorry the the tech guy for having to put up with him, causing a huge scene over nothing. T.E. managed to push all that negativity to the side, and give us some fantastic customer service. Answering all the questions we had, about the phone and it's service. The only downside I wasn't able to speak to a manager/supervisor because they were all busy at the time. I did called the store, but never got a called back. The one star rating it's for Jorge. But overall, the store is always 5 stars for me. read more
