We needed a new dryer after our 1997 model finally began disintegrating. Our sales associate at Idler's was Shelley Suggs, and she could not have been more helpful. She was quick and efficient at locating a model to meet our needs and we decided to get the matching washer to complete the set. Delivery of the dryer was set for two days from purchase, while we will wait for washer and two pedestals to elevate both units to waist height. Idler's did us right every step of the way. We were in the market for a new fridge, along with a new washer & dryer set. We were online shopping, went to a few stores, and decided on the make and models of what we wanted, and the best price. But we wanted to give our local place a chance. After speaking with them before, we called them up again, and with the spectacular Andy, he was able to pull a few strings and met our best price. (he's so very nice, professional, and knowledgeable). All the items were not in-stock, but to be delivered in a timeframe reasonable to us. Well, again, Andy pulled another string. He was able to get the fridge delivered on Day 1, with the W&D coming in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the $4k fridge malfunctioned, and the whole thing froze up. When we called, they responded in 30 mins, took the fridge, and brought us a loaner. We went to the shop, and selected another brand of fridge. We got it less than a week later, and so far, great. We also got the W&D, and love them. Also, all the delivery (and re-delivery) / installers were so very nice, and competent. Loved our whole local experience. My husband and I have bought our first two brand-new appliances from Idlers. Initially as brand-new, first-time homeowners, we bought our fridge from them. Having gotten the extended warranty, knowing that ice makers are notorious in general for having issues and also that we had to have one, we have been really happy with their customer service, professionalism, and communication as well as promptness in making repairs happen. It's not their fault that our fridge had an issue that took a couple of visits to totally figure out, BUT they took great care of us, and we got it resolved. We've been so happy with their customer service and support that when the dishwasher that came with the house broke, looking at what Idlers had was a no-brainer. We lucked out and found the exact model we wanted for something like $700 off in their outlet due to minor cosmetic damage (a missing kickplate, not even visible- the thing looks fantastic, and the sales guy is going to send us the part anyways). If you're on a budget, I can't recommend checking our their outlet highly enough (through the double doors at the back of their store- they also list these items online). The sales process was super friendly, communicative, and utterly pressure-free and painless- Andy was genuinely great, informative, and super helpful. We opted for the 5-year warranty again, full installation, and Justin, the tech, was absolutely prompt, professional, and did a great job installing our unit. Their AI text system tells you exactly when to expect them, and even lets you know once they have arrived. They were nice enough to haul our old unit away for free, because my husband is a USMC vet, which was above and beyond. Recently purchased a washer & dryer from Idler's. Shelley Suggs was fantastic to work with. She made sure the items we wanted were not only in stock but, were able to be scheduled for delivery within a few days of purchase. The delivery experience was great. Jacob and team installed the washer, dryers on pedestals and removed the old units with ease. Not only did they clean up the new units and tested everything to ensure they were functioning correctly, they also placed a leak detection alarm so we would know if their was an issue. We also had a dishwasher installed, and the team went above and beyond to make sure it was installed on the delivery date even though there was an unexpected valve replacement that that was needed. Another team lead by Matt came back to finalize the install that same day and we are very pleased with the end result. For Valentine's this year, we decided to get a new bed. Trying to be smart shoppers, we had a list of retailers we planned to visit before deciding on a purchase. Let me add that we were clueless about mattress brands, and had no pre conceived choices, just that it needed to support our backs. Our first stop was Idler's in Paso. There were 3 brands on display; but a large range within each brand. We were a bit overwhelmed. We were greeted by Sales Associate, Bryan Jordan, who walked us through the selections and explained the differences. I had several questions and he patiently answered them all. He respectfully left us to try out mattresses and platforms/frames. He checked back from time to time, never rushed us, or pushed for a sale. His approach, professionalism, attention to detail and friendliness caused us to abandon our original plan to shop at several stores. Got a good deal, the items were in stock, and we had the delivery and installation scheduled for a few days later. On the day before Good Friday and Easter weekend with our entire family enroute to our house our refrigerator died. An internet search discovered the number one rated refrigerator was surprisingly an LG. All the big box stores had one with a week or two delivery window. Our neighborhood Idler's Paso Robles had one in Santa Maria. We drove to the store and verified the LG was the one we wanted. When we explained our delima to Gabe, the service manager, he was able to have our new refrigerator picked up in Santa Maria within the hour and scheduled delivery for the next morning. We used Idler's when purchasing a new dishwasher for our home in February and had a great experience so when our dryer recently went out that was my first stop. Gary and the LG guys from Santa Clarita were helpful and so nice. When he told me the soonest delivery date was days away he saw my face fall. I explained that our son has been in a bed wetting phase and I've had to wash his bedding daily. He said "Let me see what I can do" and was able to get us on the next day's truck. I cried with relief that my child wouldn't have to experience the shame of his wet bedding piling up. Gary found some tissue and one of the LG guys patted my back. This was the embodiment of the spirit of the holidays. The salesman at the next desk smiled and winked. To be surrounded by such warmth and kindness on a hard day meant the world to me.
