Run run run. I purchased a beautiful curio oak cabinet. I put on hold, as I was moving, they offer a 7 day hold. I went to go measure it today and noticed a crack on the middle glass shelve, it was NOT there 3 days ago, when I purchased. I spoke w/Doug, Manager and he was incredibly rude and told me -- there's nothing he can do. I told him I need to cancel, as I paid 450.00 for plus their 3% credit card fee(don't think this is legal), he never even offered me a discount. I asked him if I could speak with the owner of this cabinet and he blatantly told me NO. I called my cc company and iam able to get a full refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell all my friends as well. read more

If anyone is following me, they will see that I've been on an antique store mission this week. This was the first store that I went to this last Sunday, and they have so many lovely and affordable pieces that I became far too picky..... I purchased two porcelain tea cups for a very reasonable $5 (each). I'm including some of the other pieces that impressed me, that I didn't purchase. The only reason for the 4 stars is.... This store is not as "bougie" as some of the vintage stores, and you will have to dig around more. The benefit of this is that you get lower prices, and far more variety... if you are patient. Whenever I go to antique stores I hit this one. And yes, they also have uranium glass. For some reason Paso Robles has a very large selection of this rare find. read more

Huge old building with so much stuff and lots of treasures. Books, jewelry, knives, furniture, dishes, art, old farm equipment parts, baseball cards, toys, etc. Been here a couple times and have found something to add to my collection both times. Give yourself plenty of time as there is a lot to look though. Staff are nice but seem disorganized. One of the staff had a very small dog with a high pitched bark that barked the entire time we were there which was really annoying and tainted my last visit. read more

Unfortunately the people that work here a unprofessional and run their mouths like they don't have a friend in the world to chat with in a personal environment. I came in today and the man and woman working behind the counter - as well as one of the vendors- were all engaged in a disparaging conversation about "gays". I won't even bother reiterating what was said but it was ugly and the fact that they brought their personal opinions to work (loudly, during the Entire visit) was enough for us to leave. It's a bit of a maze, but this is pretty legit antique shop with lots of selection and items that are reasonably priced. I'm working on an art project and I've gotten a ton of small items (broken jewelry, pins, broaches, etc.) for a dollar each. The hubby has found some well priced collectable comics. I live in the area so will stop by here occasionally and check out what's "new". read more

I've been antiquing quite a bit in the last year of my life, and finding a store with lots of items I actually enjoy looking at and would consider purchasing is difficult. This particular store has a great variety, something for everyone. I was very impressed. It's a large store too so you'll be looking for quite some time. The location is really convenient right off the freeway. The pricing was reasonable compared to many stores I've been too, but I find antiquing that there is always a bit of overpriced stuff to go around. That happens when people have grown a sentimental attachment to items and then try to sell. There's only 2 reasons I didn't mark this a 5 star joint.... #1 I dont think I've ever been in constant fear while shopping that the building would fall apart. Most of these places are funky shacks but this one was complete with unlevel floors, items hung where they could easily fall, dead ends that lead to areas blocked off with stuff, etc....it just felt hazardous to be in there as a shopper and that made me a bit nervous. #2 - the ladies in this store seemed very unhappy to be there and that was off putting for me as a shopper. On a road trip my friend is a super antiquer and this was a go out of your way for pit stop to check out antiques. I've been in antique stores 50+ times in the last 2 years, maybe more. And I've never bought a single thing. It's always overwhelming to me. The places are massive, packed to the brim, little things everywhere, tons of energy on the items - but I still try to get used to it. At any rate, I say this to say, I fell in LOVE with this glass bowl I found here. First time ever, huge event. I got so excited. I walked around holding it trying to find my friend so we can checkout. Like a kid at Christmas. I walk by the counter and this woman asks if I want to leave it on the counter, I say no thank you politely. She then repeats it, forcefully, adding in "that's an expensive item and don't want to see you break it". The amount of rudeness was incomparable. I was shocked for a second, obviously put the item down, and promptly walked out - feeling like she was insinuating I was going to steal or couldn't afford it. Killed all joy for me, I don't ever want to even go into another antique store as long as I live. read more

We have shopped here for years and bought several very nice items. However, this last time I bought a lighted wreath that was advertised as mid century from one of their vendors. I did not realize until looking at it later that it is a contemporary IKEA wreath. Fortunately, I did not pay much more than it is selling for elsewhere but only because it was on sale. I realize the store does not have complete control over their vendors but the false claim really bothers me and makes me hesitant to trust their vendor claims in the future. read more

Saw their advertising on a local magazine provided by our hotel in the Paso Robles area. I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful (I was trying to hunt down a vintage chocolate molds). Very typical layout of Antique Collectives, individually owned "booths ". They had an above average assortment of items for sale. One complaint, the person at the cashier was a bit rough with the fragile item that I was purchasing. But all in all, worth a visit. read more

We drove all the way from Vegas, on our way to Morro Bay, if anyone should have a gripe about needing to drop a deuce it was us. Anyways...for the business....huge store, packed with every type of antique and the prices were fine. They have a huge outdoor area full of rusted stuff which is what we like. We got a few big items and the woman opened the side gate so I didn't have to go through the store with my items. This is a definite stop next year when we pass by again. read more

As dealer at this shop I am appalled at Yelp for posting a picture of our restroom door when we had major plumbing problems and had the devil of a time getting a contractor that would actually show up. Unlike larger cities a lot of contractors here pick and choose if they want to work and don't always show up again the 2nd day or at all if not a big enough job for them. So we were out of luck for a long time, about a year, with limiting use. Restroom, although not at all fancy, is and has been functional for over a year and a half...ya....yelp get your act together, you aren't any where near up to date. As for the closing early...we can't get the landlord to put in any type of cooling unit. When it is 100 outside..we are close to the same inside so, yup, for the health of staff and customers alike, we close early...fans can only do so much. No I don't like Yelp...gives a false representation of most businesses. So take my notes for what they are worth to you. read more

The owner of this business does not have a moral compass. We just bought two porcelain signs. We were assured (by the owner) that theses signs were original and not reproduction. The owner assured us they were not reproduction. $420 dollars later, and after speaking to our authentication exoert in Oregon, THEY WERE REPRODUCTION! After going back and confronting the owner, basically we were told "oh well all sales final" Make sure you are not lied to, oh wait...how would you know that? read more

Went there not knowing what to expect. They have things from all wake of life in there. Chinese, English, Native American, African and even local antiques. There are hard to find items as well as common items to complete your collection. Furniture, tools, toys- this place would take a few days to find all the treasures they have there. I came to leave a review because I thought it was so cool, and it's funny to see some petty people on here because, like 99% of other stores- they don't have a public restroom. You can go to those other antique places in the Paso area. But I wouldn't buy anything at them. this place is perfect: huge and packed with interesting beautiful things, affordably priced (especially compared to the antique places in town) , really helpful, knowledgeable, and interesting women work there, there are even a few lovely small dogs on staff. The experience of shopping is enriching -- and you won't feel taken advantage of even if you do end up purchasing more than you expected. Wide variety of mainly smaller items (some furniture but more jewelry and kitchen ware) including a good selection of Roseville ceramics also a lovely collection of hand-painted pieces from mexico. This is the sort of place you can spend an afternoon thoroughly amused and enlightened and go home with with items that you will love. read more

Place was hot inside but they had tons of small fans in basically each area to cool you off which I thought was nice. This place is pretty much the only store around for quite a distance. It contains the typical stuff such stores sell. Mostly junk and certainly nothing special or a great bargain. Seems to be run by a few women. So, why only one star? Answer: this is an isolated place that DOES NOT HAVE A PUBLIC RESTROOM! It's not as though this place has a problem with non-customers hanging out wanting to use their bathroom. Non-customers would not hang out at this place because it's in the middle of nowhere. Simple human courtesy would seem to mandate offering a public restroom. The owners have a private restroom with a sign making it clear their customers are not welcome to use it. (See photo). This is a stupid and selfish way to run a business. I will not be returning as I cannot support a business that has so little regard for its customers. read more

We have not been to VINEYARD ANTIQUES in Paso Robles for a couple of years. A view of the building from the roadway suggests an inviting adventure. It is always interesting to walk around and see what is there. We saw many familiar items as seen in the past years. However; the pricing still dictated that one should have more money than sense. We had two out of town guests with us who expressed the same feelings. Now... I asked a woman working there where the nearest restroom was located. She replied "at the ARCO station" which is a good distance down the street. About four city blocks. Now. They have a restroom clearly visible center store sidewall area. Signs posted on restroom door and business front door indicating that they clearly have "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS" REALLY.....A public place with shoppers....and no restrooms. You use to be able to use the restroom at this location in the past. NOW....you as employees working there sometimes don't know who you are talking too. It could be a veteran who fought so you could enjoy your business. It could be someones elderly mom or dad or someone with a medical condition, or simply an American who contributes to our society in a positive way. It could also be a person with some type of disability. Yet you are willing to take the money from our pockets but deprive someone of a basic necessity. We have been to other shops in the area, similar as yours, that have clean and accessible restrooms for customers as expected for the unexpected. NOW...for those who might work at this location, or be sign posters, try this...Wait till you feel the unexpected or sudden and strong urge to relieve yourself, in one of two bodily function ways, and then take the walk to the ARCO station. Hope you make it. Good luck and happy trails to you because there will be one. There are other posts regarding this subject and other issues. If you do the research you will find them. We have to say this....it made us realize what we did not miss or need anything at VINEYARD antiques and how much more we appreciate the other local businesses that appreciate us as customers beyond the wallet. This place is big! There is alot to look at, and everything is reasonably priced. They prefer cash, but do take visa/mastercard. I didnt have to use the restroom, so i have no idea about the hole thing, there is a gas station down the road if anything. I think its a great stop, and there is alot of really good antiques here. Guess these people make loads of money as they lose customers by not letting anyone use their restroom! I always used to stop here on my way to LA and spend a lot of money, between 400.00 up to over 1000.00. I stopped a few days ago and had to use the restroom and I was told there is not a public restroom! And I LEFT! Since this mall is rather off by itself you would need to get into you car and drive down about 1/2 mile to use a bathroom and then come back? Me thinks NOT! I am driving 100s of miles and when I arrive I need to use the restroom! You would think they could offer a restroom to their customers as every antique shop no matter how small has a restroom for their customers and many even offer coffee and cookies. But this place will not let you use a bathroom why should I spend any money with them? I will take my business elsewhere thank-you very much! And they have a restroom inside so do not let them tell you they do not have one. Such a small simple courtesy they cannot bother to extend and I will not bother to ever shop here again. I liked this place the minute I walked in, picked a few things out but then saw something that made me walk out. I noticed a sign for sale in a booth that read "colored restrooms". My boyfriend and I were so offended that the owners would allow something so offensive in their store. I don't care if it is a part of our history, that sign should be destroyed. This is a great place to browse for antiques. Yes, I know they have no public restroom so I take care of business prior to coming here. Huge assortment of everything you can imagine. Found a very cheap antique parlor chair in perfect condition. It was very small but my wife found it comfortable. Something for everyone and even well weather worn items outside. 2 breweries off of Ramada Drive and Tin City has the one brewery, cidery, distillery and wineries. I drive up and down HWY 101 frequently between Santa Barbara and Carmel and Paso Robles exit 228 Chevron is my halfway pit sop. I saw the Vineyard Antique Mall from the highway a while back ad decided to check it out. Now I am an addict! It is the most wonderful place. Chock a block full of treasures. I think I heard them say they have 99 vendors! The people are really nice , friendly and helpful. I never leave empty handed. The prices seem very reasonable to me, unlike hugely jacked up prices at other antique shops I have been to. It's vey charming and you can spend hours there and not hardly scratch the surface.
