I was in town on vacation and a friend that lived close by recommended going into this little antique mall. Had a wonderful shopping experience. I bought a fluorite crystal. If you're in town, I highly recommend you check it out. There is a lot of variety with very good prices. read more

This place is filled with "rooms" half filled with new gift store items and half antiques...or you know, old stuff. The rooms kind of have themes, like outdoor stuff, cooking stuff, clothing but mostly, there is no rhyme or reason to it. You need to meander around aimless and keep your eyes peeled because it's hard to take in so much merchandise at once. The prices on the new items isn't cheap but you can get some of the older stuff at a pretty good price. I was eyeing a set of leaf shaped plates that could be used as candle dishes or appetizer plates. $4 - good deal! read more

I used to LOVE this place. It was one of the few antique stores in the area that mixed old with new and contained a lovely collection of items that I wanted to buy. In fact, I would make a special two hour trip to shop here. That is no longer the case with this store. While the ladies at the front are still friendly and helpful, the quality of items has taken a disastrous turn towards tacky and kitschy. "Antiques" can no longer be found. Instead, it's a grouping of chalk painted, burlap covered, repurposed items that are best suited for a country junk store. It's very disappointing. read more

I love this place so much! It's creative and inspiring with the mix of old, new, and revamped. For me, I've always loved the idea of antiquing and thrifting but a lot of times I get overwhelmed by all the stuff, but here with the different sections it makes it so much easier for me to see things. Sometimes my husband and I enjoy meandering through the store on a weekend just because. Other times we walk in for gifts and walk out with the perfect finds like the soup tureen set I found for my mom for Christmas. She has been wanting one for a while! I have never been to an Antique shop where there wasn't at least one snobby attendant walking around - until today! Not only are so many great pieces priced reasonably, the people here are so friendly that even my puppy seemed to enjoy the spree! It's hot these days in Paso Robles and these amazing folks have a water dispenser for their customers. While they did not have a bowl out for my pup, they let me grab mine from my car and fill it up with water for her and any other furry friends that could stop by! They have unique pieces, both old and new so this is a great place to grab gifts for friends if you did not get them a bottle while out wine-tasting! ;) They will gift-wrap, by the way! read more

I have been shopping in this store for years and have never written a review about it. Since I love it so much, I thought I should. It is my favorite store in all of Paso. I love being able to choose from new, antique and vintage items. There is a great variety that changes often and everything is always beautifully displayed. Although there is a great selection, things aren't piled on top of each other as they tend to be in traditional antique stores. The owner is always so friendly, it makes shopping there a pleasure, even on the rare occasions I leave empty-handed. The store is full of wonderful treasures, many right before your eyes, while others are hidden, and when I find the hidden treasures, I equate it to hitting the jackpot! If you compare to other similar stores, some right on the same street, Reminisce's prices are usually very reasonable, and they are willing to take less than the asking price on a lot of the items. Until I moved out of state, I was at the store on a regular basis, because of all those wonderfully priced, eclectic goodies. My sister still goes in there on a regular basis. 6 years later after my original review and I have to say, I still LOVE this place. Found many of the items I have in my home there when we re-decorated and went with a rustic farmhouse style a few months back. The people working greet you with a smile and are very helpful. Let me start with, I love this place. We visit Paso three or four times a year and I also stop in and find something I can't live without. I walked in today and the woman behind the desk was chatting with a couple. She smiled and I started looking around. As I'm looking and picking out a beautiful handmade necklace from the front booth. I over hear the woman and the people at the desk start complaining about how the tourists are ruining the town. At first I tried to ignore it, I went on shopping. But they just kept complaining. There's no where to park because of them, etc. they went on and on. So finally after hearing enough I put the three baby items and the necklace back where I found them and walked out. I know the booths are individually owned but if the management thinks this is acceptable behavior on a busy holiday weekend. than I am more than happy to take my tourist dollars to stores that appreciate them.
