So this store will stay open later for customers that need to return to purchase an item and I love that about them. My most recent experience was this past week for my birthday I wanted my bedroom they have a makeover. To be honest I made a mistake by buying a headboard online on Amazon and that bed was way too low and did not have a tall headboard. So I entered America's mattress to see what other options were and they had two beds to choose from that had the height of the mattress and the height of the headboard. While my kids were getting inpatient he was super nice and patient and even pulled out some toys for them. Because I ended up buying a headboard and mattress and a base he cut the price really low for me. I am super happy with my bedroom makeover! Prettiest Tufted headboard ever. Don't buy their terrible Mattress pad that they claim keeps the Mattress cool on one side and warm when flipped over. It is just cold! Their customer service is terrible and I also probably got a different Mattress than the one I tried at the store as reported by other customers. They set me up for a delivery and then called to say they would have to make it the following day after I got everything ready for it. They sold me a headboard that doesn't attach to the bed. They just leaned it against the wall. They are such a ripoff! read more

What a nightmare of an experience this was. (Strike #2 is the worst!) Strike 1, mattress didn't arrive on the day or time of delivery, which is frustrating when you arrange your work schedule to be home. When they finally delivered, they provided a 20 minute heads up and luckily I was home that day, had no idea they were coming. Strike 2, after almost 90 days, the mattress still felt nothing like the one in the store and when I went back to make the exchange it felt like an argument. In fact, I had come back 3 times only to be continually talked out of my exchange. Come to find out it was the owner who was telling me that it was because my house is too cold or that I need to get a quilted cover or that I needed a mattress topper. Naively, I spent ANOTHER $400 on a topper and the mattress cover he recommended after spending $4k for a mew mattress. After that still didn't help, I went back AGAIN and told the other salesman what had happened on my previous visits. He admitted the owner was trying to save the money he loses on comfort exchanges. The employee agreed that it was messed up and that this happens sometimes where the owner looses money. Strike 3, small, but after what we've went through we just wanted to have a good mattress and be done with the lack of professionalism experienced. Even after what we went through, we had to pay the exchange fee... okay... but they called on 3 different occasions to collect my credit card number. Who knows what post it note my credit card is floating around on the first 2 times. I am super understanding when it comes to things like miscommunication, accidents, delays and much more... but I am NOT okay with a businessman taking advantage of his customers to save some money. Especially after every other little thing went wrong- just do right by your customer. read more

He noticed we were unsure of what mattress type we would like and walked us through a very detailed array of what they had and wound up helping us sum up our decisions to two mattresses! Experience with Steve in the store was great. Very nice person and helped us find what we were looking for. He would get 5 stars! Four weeks later when we still had not received our delivery after already calling the store to inquire, we called to cancel the order. Immediately Joseph called about the delivery. He was rude and outright lied saying he tried to deliver twice already, even though he had not called to schedule an appointment. When we called him on his lie because we have dogs and a security gate he had nothing to say. He showed up to deliver the next day and was rude and unprofessional. Would think twice of shopping here if you plan on using the delivery service which, I might add, was not free as some other places provide. read more

I went into the store yesterday. Steve was so friendly I felt like he was an old friend. He just got some new mattresses in and needed to clear the floor so he gave me an excellent deal on one of the floor models, bed frame and headboard. The delivery guys came and delivered today. Buyer beware yes that's right they offer 120 nights to exchange your mattress if it doesn't work however in the fine print in the back of the paperwork states it's $150 to exchange the mattress. So now that my 80-year-old mom has spent over $1000 for a twin mattress only to find out this high and Serta pillow top mattress hurts your hips at night. She called to exchange it and was given the news about an extra $150 charge. She is on a fixed income and this presents quite a financial problem for her. Unbelievable!! Good idea to always have two people go to buy big purchases make sure you read all the fine print on the back of the paperwork. Or you can simply use Amazon.... where they give you free return and free delivery of another mattress. No questions asked just put it back in the box UPS comes to get it and they deliver a new one. They said it was delivered by mistake, then they said I would accept a floor model, they couldn't keep their stories straight. They would not give me a refund or take the mattress back.
