I noticed some of the bad reviews and decided to write one because I had such a good experience…read morewith Dr Bergeron. My exam took place over a year ago, and since then I have moved so I am sad that I won't be able to continue to be a patient of Dr Bergeron. This review is not about the Lenscrafters side of the business, as my experience was entirely with Dr Bergeron. She did an excellent job getting me the right contact lenses, but I was most impressed with her ability to diagnose me when I had a health issue with my eyes. I have been wearing contacts for 15 years, and suddenly my eyes were extremely irritated. They were in pain and they were extremely red. I couldn't wear my lenses because of the pain, and had to wear my glasses (which are really thick and make me look like a huge nerd so I always avoid wearing them in public). I'm a teacher so my first thought was maybe I had gotten pink eye from one of my grubby middle school students, but Dr Bergeron said it wasn't pink eye (thank god!). She figured out that the particular contact lens solution I was using was causing a bacterial infection. I guess some people are sensitive to this particular type of solution, so she had me change to a peroxide based solution. This change was the cure - my eyes, which had been bothering me for weeks, were very soon feeling much better. Dr Bergeron did so much for me in the exam. She showed me all the graphics on her computer, explaining the shape of my eye and showing me that I have an astigmatism. She also explained why she believed my eyes were red; she was honest with me when she said she wasn't 100% sure that this was the reason, but based on research and readings she had done, she believed it was most likely the reason. Her instincts were totally right and she is clearly a dedicated and professional eye doctor who knows her stuff. Good eye doctors are hard to find. I really appreciate that Dr Bergeron did such a great job getting my contact lenses just right for me and especially for so quickly identifying the problem I was having with my eyes.

So i go back there and they said oh its because u dropped it and scratch the ground. So i went home because it avoid the warranty. Now is on a year after and i dont even use it because the scratch keep bugging me and i just saw underneath of my lense its peeling off. Idk what is that but it's obviously a cheaply made coating and sell it for overprice market. I need people to know that to bring your business elsewhere. Their 'opticians' has no optician skill, they were taught how to 'be optician' without knowing what exactly they have to do. I went to a different optical store and told them my experience, he said that he used to be hired there and teach those salespeople to be 'optician' wanna be. And he is the one that made me realize why the scratch is only on 1 side. Lense crafter, you should be ashamed of your self. Selling overpriced item with no quality. Now i doubt my frame is really burberry or just a knock-off and sell it for $600 for profit. I paid almost $700 for those pairs. My online glasses are better quality than theirs. Bellow my red glasses has been 4 years w me from online store. Check out the difference.

Dear Patient Relations Team,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Caroline, the General Manager of your Windham, New Hampshire office. I have been a loyal customer of this location since your company took it over, and before that with MVC. My family and I have primarily supported the Windham store as we live in town, and over the years we have entrusted this office with a significant amount of business. Unfortunately, the experience I had today with Caroline was unacceptable and needs to be addressed at the corporate level. Earlier today, I visited the Windham office to return an unopened package containing two boxes of contact lenses along with a trial pair. Caroline was assisting another customer when I arrived, and I waited patiently until she called me to her desk across the entire office without getting out of her chair. When I explained that I needed to return the lenses and the reason why they were unused, she told me that the order had been placed through Ben at the Hampton location "and this was NOT her box" and that she was not willing to process the return because she did not want it reflected on her profit and loss statement. The look on her face told it all because you could tell she was just looking to cause a problem and make my life more difficult. I told her I believed returns could be processed at any store, but she refused to accept this return. I left the office and contacted Ben, the new General Manager of the Hampton location. Ben informed me that her refusal was against company policy and that she could have easily coordinated the return with him over the phone if she "didn't want to take the hit to her stores P/L." What concerns me most is that Caroline was aware of the correct policy and chose not to follow it. She admitted this when I called her back. If this a game or a business? Her actions felt punitive and directed at me as a customer, which is extremely disappointing given the long-standing relationship my family and I have with your organization. When I called her back to relay what Ben had said and to inform her that I would be reporting the incident, she suddenly offered to accept the return. At that point, the damage was already done. This is not the first time I have observed issues at the Windham office. Under Caroline's management, the environment often feels unprofessional. Staff members are casually dressed, food is visible on counters or being eaten from drawers, and the overall atmosphere lacks the professionalism and care I expect. In contrast, Ben consistently goes above and beyond to create a positive client experience. His leadership is a tremendous asset to your organization. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed at the corporate level. Caroline's conduct today was inappropriate, contrary to company policy, and damaging to customer trust.

They do offer some deals, which is what I got. I wanted to use my expensive sunglass frames and just get prescription lenses, but I was quoted more than the cost of two pairs of glasses. On a positive note, they came in one week faster than advised. Also, Dawn at the front desk was super helpful and friendly .

I had a disappointing experience during a routine contact lens exam at Windham Family Eye Care…read more When I arrived, the front desk staff member told me she was locked out of the office computer system and could not log in to access insurance information. She even showed me the screen and explained that she couldn't access the insurance portals. I also observed multiple usernames and passwords written on sticky notes attached to the monitor. Because of this, the office could not verify my insurance benefits through Davis Vision. Despite not knowing my copay or contact lens allowance, I was told I needed to pay something and ended up purchasing a box of contacts for $85 out of pocket. A few weeks later I received a voicemail saying my contacts were ready and that I also owed $125 for the contact lens exam, which had not been disclosed during the visit. When I called to ask about it, I was told my contact lens allowance had already been used simply because the office billed the exam. This was frustrating because I had already paid for contacts out of pocket specifically because the office could not verify my insurance. After raising concerns, the exam fee was eventually waived, but only after a lengthy discussion. Overall the experience involved significant disorganization, lack of insurance verification, and unclear communication about fees and insurance benefits.

I was caught off guard and confused by being told that I booked a virtual eye exam. The woman who was checking me in then rudely comments "it says virtual right when you book online". Again, I'm confused because I have never heard of a virtual eye exam and I've been wearing glasses since childhood. I then tried to show her the email I received to confirm my appointment, which indicates nowhere that I scheduled a virtual appointment, to point out that the location of the appointment is at MyEyeDr at 8 Stiles Rd, Salem NH. Her response is "yeah that's the location". She also noted that "this just went into effect yesterday". And also that she tried calling me to make me aware that this was telehealth, I checked my voicemails and the only message I have from MyEyeDr is a voicemail from September 13 confirming an appointment for September 20 (which I had to reschedule to today, September 27). My overall experience was very poor, the woman checking me in made me feel like I was doing something wrong by showing up in person for an eye exam. Very rude, won't be returning. *to note- before posting this review I went to book another appointment to see there is any mention of a virtual appointment, and there is not.
