The lightest frames are Lindberg, and there's only a handful of stores that carry them... the first one I found was at Arden Mall, who stopped carrying them. The second place was Indi Visual Eyes. I used to support Natomas Optometry, but after a couple of bad prescriptions, I decided to use Kelvin Sue - who is the optometrist attached to this joint. When I'm done with my eye exam, I just walk over to Curtis. I've gotten 3 pairs of Lindbergs from Indi Visual Eyes and so long as Curtis is here, I'll keep getting them. He takes the time to walk you through the lens selection. After he get your prescription, he has you put on the glasses and dots your eyes in the right place. And then he goes and cuts the lenses. He's very approachable and we talk like old friends. Awesome product... check. Awesome service... check. Locally owned... check. What else do you need?

The doctor asked questions about professional and personal lifestyle but also about gaming, which includes wearing my glasses as well. The doctor has an understanding of basic VR and can prescribe lenses for my VR headset. Also the doctor recommended Optase Protect spray to decrease the itchiness and dryness that my eyes experience after viewing computer screens for a long length of time; and the Optase spray works! No prescription required and the spray was available for me to purchase while there. Overall, I enjoyed my appointment and left very pleased and anticipating when my new glasses will arrive. Pros: 1. I have now been here twice as the first time they found my eyes were likely just tired and I needed to blink more and possibly use eye drops; this last time I got my first perscription for reading sadly. I work for the state and their visit was covered completely under the vision program through the state so that was nice. Also because my perscription is fairly minor (1.25), they recommended that I just grab a cheap pair of glasses at the pharmacy rather than get fancy expensive glasses through them. They also gave me a perscription in case I did want a fancy pair. I do really like that they suggested something quick and cheap though. Staff greeted me right away and the doctors were also very friendly. The store front seems very nice with a bunch of cute glasses too.

Turns out it is $85 for a contacts fitting, which is the highest I have ever seen in sacramento or Los Angeles. It's $35 for contacts fitting elsewhere in sacramento. Price around! And if they won't give you an estimate before your appointment, consider moving on to the next shop. Their frame selection is nicely curated, so worth stopping in to see that.

I get a number from an optometrist that said Pro Op might be able to take care of me, and THEY DEFINITELY DID!!! I dropped off my glasses to the UPS location & filled out a form on Tuesday afternoon, and I just picked them up from the same UPS location the next day all soldered & fixed! They were kind enough to buff out some of the wear scratches I gave my lens! I have to say, they are absolutely amazing, they are a trustworthy business that does high-quality work. YOUR EYESIGHT CHANGES!! ("Duh, right?") Thank the GODS I can come back here every year and get my prescription updated, EXCEPT, when Covid hit I became SOMEWHAT of a hermit living in my cave. Yada Yada Yada, after three (3) years I FINALLY got my presciption updated with Dr. Jessica and it's really nice to have gotten some new specs to update my eyesight with (and suffice it to say, it was needed). OLD SPECS STILL GOOD! Now I still rock my old specs too since when they hit the sun they double as awesome sunglasses with their cool transitions.
