What another great experience here at target optical!!! Leslie is always a pleasure to deal With on the phone or in person and this was our first time meeting Rhonda she was fabulous as well. I don't wear contacts never have but my son is ready to make the switch over to contacts. Rhonda was so patient with him on coaching him the tricks of the trade and answered any questions he or I had. Rhonda was so patient with my son too!!!!! As a parent it was so nice to have someone answer even the silliest of questions and she really eased all my worries about him being able to successfully execute the whole contact process. Dr Riley is always great we have been going to him for well over three years now and we will continue too.

First off Dr Riley was fantastic. Very friendly, patient and thorough with my exam. However the office manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. I made my appointment with this office and got quotes in and out of network costs for exam and contact fitting. A very nice girl wrote them for me on a sticky note. When I came in for my exam today I realized I forgot the sticky note at home and none of my info was out into the computer so I knew I would have issues right off the bat. I mentioned to the manager I got a quote but left it at home. She completely ignored me until I asked her if she caught that. She then replied yes she did. I got my benefits ran while I was already being seen so when I got done and came out she tells me $75. I told her the quote I got was $46 and some change plus the $20 if I did the retinal scan which I did. All in all she accepted the $66 and said she'd cover the $9 (whatever the hell that means). I hate surprises and it was careless benefit running on their part. I don't care what the difference is between my first quote and my last the number should never change. They should be on point with this and they are not. Oh by the way here is the sticky note you were skeptical about me getting.

The doctors here are excellent optometrists. Just be aware that they will always try to sell you on getting retinal imaging which is not covered by vision insurance. I happen to have medical reasons to get this done, but no one ever spends the effort to ask if I would like to use my medical insurance to cover it. If you want to save another doctors' appointment, it might be worth $59, but you may have to demand they submit to you should check your insurance coverages. I decided to save this type of exam for an ophthalmologist for their scope of practice. The lobby has many brand names of eye frames to choose from. Every year I ask if they have "asian fit" options or brands and they have yet to add to their selection. I was told they have some of those brands at the "other" office. When I asked about ordering from the catalog (I happen to know exactly what brand and style would work), they were kindly able to order it for me. However, when I inquired about the cost, it is clear there is a significant uncharge for their "broker" fees. You might consider just ordering the same frame cheaper from many options available online for the exact same thing. You are basically paying extra so you can try it on in person. It is coincidental that it will also be just above what your vision insurance covers. Overall, the eye care that is delivered by the optometrists here is great. I have always received excellent care from them. The extra services and add-ons should be carefully considered for the value if you so choose. Also, this medical complex has becoming increasingly busy and it is often much harder to find parking each year. You might need to allow a few extra minutes to circle around to find a spot so you are not late to your appointment.

They were so persitant about wanting for me to pay for eye exam out of pocket almost forced. When I said I wasn't gonna pay for it out of pocket because it was yearly check up and insurance would cover it they said they would double the price. Leaving me with a couple dollars for frames, I would still have to throw a couple hundred dollars on just frames. Definitely not budget friendly. Also zero customer service, ladies up front need to work with being friendly. Won't be coming back and won't recommend to anyone.

I truly appreciate both corporate and the local team for stepping in and helping resolve what was a frustrating situation. Thank you! *** I went to Visionworks for my yearly eye appointment and ended up having a very frustrating experience. During my appointment, no one reviewed my prescription with me or explained the lens options. I specifically mentioned that I wanted progressive lenses, and since the price point we were given seemed affordable, I decided to purchase two pairs of glasses--one regular pair and one pair of sunglasses. About a week to a week and a half later, the glasses came in, but they were made with the wrong prescription. They were single-vision lenses, not progressive lenses like I had requested. The woman who originally helped us never went over the prescription details or explained the difference between the options, which could have prevented this entire situation. When we went back to pick them up, the gentleman working that evening was very helpful. It was the end of the day and he was closing, but he stayed to make sure we were taken care of and apologized for the mistake. I truly appreciated his effort. However, the solution required another $140 out of pocket to correct the lenses. If I had known the true cost with insurance for progressive lenses, I never would have purchased two pairs in the first place. At this point, I've spent over $450 and still cannot see properly because I've have to now wait another 1-2 weeks for the corrected glasses. This entire situation could have been avoided if someone had simply reviewed the prescription and lens options with me before placing the order. If there are prescriptions for both single-vision and progressive lenses, that absolutely should be discussed with the customer. Unfortunately, because of the poor communication and the fact that we had to pay extra to fix someone else's mistake, we will not be returning to this or any Visionworks location.

After waiting and expecting a smooth pickup, this was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time. There was no sense of urgency or accountability to fix the issue, and at this point, I've lost confidence in their attention to detail. Vision care is not something people should have to double-check this hard.

The chairs in the lobby and exam room where the tech saw me weren't sturdy enough for someone of my size, which made it difficult as I had to stand for long periods. A more robust, armless chair would be a great improvement. The only chair sturdy enough was where the doctor saw me. Unfortunately, they lost my Ray-Ban case, explaining that they've been having issues with the lab. If this is a known problem, I'm unsure why they took my case in the first place. Although they offered me other Ray-Ban cases, none were the size I originally had, so I ended up with a different one. I ordered two pairs of glasses and was told I'd be notified when both were ready so I could pick them up together. When I arrived, only one pair was ready, which was inconvenient even though I live across the street. I think I'm going to try another place next year.

I was in L.A. for work a couple of months back and the glasses I use for working on my computer broke. As soon as I got back I called and asked if I can bring in my Warby Parker frames in to get new lenses or if the frames had to be purchased there. To my delight they said I could bring in my frames. When I brought my frames in they set my order up and shipped them out. They said it would take two weeks, but said it might be sooner as they were coming in faster lately. To my disappointment it took three weeks to get them back. I showed up to pick up my glasses and they had the wrong prescription in them. They then re-order the lenses and ship them out again., This time it doesn't take three weeks. It takes two weeks to get them back. This time they tell me the processing center will not make lenses for my Warby Parker frames. It took a phone call, two orders, and 5 weeks to find out the answer to my initial question was no I can't bring in my a Warby Parker frames. I finally got a pair of frames they would replace the lenses on but it took another two weeks. This was an absolutely horrible experience from a place I've been coming to for years.
