Moreover, the service was excellent. Regarding the optical side, I found the customer service to be great. I have been shopping RX lens from Walmart for the last 15 years - mainly - because they carried Zeiss lenses and instead of paying 600 USD I was paying 400 USD. They are mainly Nikon now for their high end lenses, but offer lower tier options. Bottom line, it is Walmart, and you will definitely save money on lenses over private opticians or even LensCrafters. Oh yeah, one year warranty - no matter what.

When walking in the front desk is easy to find and the people at the desk were very friendly and had me checked-in easily. They did inform me that they were running a bit behind, but they called me back only about five minutes after my appointment time. When I went back the assistant was helpful and explained to me everything that they were doing, and very nice when checking my vision, eyes, and everything else needed before seeing the doctor. It wasn't a very long wait for the doctor to come in, and he was very thorough and listened to all my issues with my vision. Overall it was a great visit and I highly recommend visiting Eye Specialists in Clermont if you're looking for an eye doctor.

Celebration Eye Care Center is genuinely trying to rip people off for their own financial gain. Here I am thinking I am supporting a small business instead of going to a corporate optometrist and this was such a mistake! 1. They do not value your time. You can show up early and you will still wait 30-45 minutes. Dr. Grand (the older doctor, this place is ran by the grandmother and her granddaughter who is also an optometrist) seemed like a nice enough woman until she took over an hour to do a simple exam/contact lens fitting and then didn't tell me that I'd have to come back again in two week to see her to get my prescription. They won't give it to me until I come back. Okay fine, I guess I will take another day off of work to come in and have my eyes looked at for 2 seconds not like my time is valued to them anyway... 2. They use scare tactics and purposely do not tell people their rights. I looked up my rights, but have never had to do this before with any other eye place because I never have felt like someone took advantage of me. BY LAW IN FLORIDA your contact lens prescription is valid AT LEAST two years. And for glasses FIVE YEARS. They purposely attempt to write it for shorter so you have to come back more often. 3. Mind you, I've been wearing 2-week contacts for over 15 years, they switched me to a one a day contact (same brand) and refuse to give me my prescription until I come back and have them "checked." I went back to get them "checked" and she asked me how they were and then handed me the prescription. Didn't even bother to look at my eyes. At the end when I went to checkout, they were angry I wouldn't buy my contacts there. I had to ask for all my prescriptions and since then have been trying to order contacts myself from 1800 contacts, but they won't approve the order saying my prescription is valid. So I'm currently dealing with going back and forth with 1800-contacts proving to them I have a valid prescription on paper, but can't get their office to respond. They simply want to waste your time and charge you more money, all while selling you "oh we are a small family run business!!" Family ran businesses should take care of their patients and not nickel & dime you. They should not be shady and do things that are unethical. I will be reporting this business to the FTC. Super disappointing- I do NOT recommend going to see anyone in the "Grand Family" unless you want your time wasted and to be overcharged.

The lady was so nice, her name is Miss Cohen she is one of the optometrist here at the eye place. I had my eyes checked and my eyes actually went from an eight to a six; which I guess is an improvement from my current standards. I picked out three pairs of glasses. One for work, one for play, and a new pair of sunglasses. I've never heard of the Costa brand of sunglasses - what I really liked is one of the male eye employees told me that the nose pads get sticky when you sweat so they don't slip off your face which I loved because I work outside currently. I had to call them back. I booked a same day appt when I was in the neighborhood. When I got there, I was told my appointment didn't go through. I was also told the doctor wouldn't be in for several hours. I have no idea why appointments were available online then. They should be taken down.

Because of that error, my insurance benefit -- which only covers a one-year supply -- was used incorrectly. Now I'm left without lenses for my other eye and no way to reorder through insurance. To make matters worse, the prescription/expiration dates were not handled correctly, and both eyes should have been processed together for the same period, but they were not. I'm also very disappointed that there was no support available over the weekend to fix an issue that was clearly caused by their staff. This situation could have been avoided with proper attention and care. Overall, this experience has been stressful and inconvenient. I would strongly recommend double-checking your order before leaving, because mistakes here can have serious consequences. Find another place for your optical needs this people don't care about their customers and the inconvenience their ineptitude causes
