Which at this time, I could not get them to stop said appointment. My first appointment was in March. I then had to keep calling them for an additional appoinment to fit the contacts with a new doctor. They booked me an appointment at their other location in Haines City which is an hour away from the Horizons West location. I tried again to make an appointment in Clermont just to be told the new doctor does work with hard contacts. The perscriptions I paid for only last 90 days from when you have the appointment to when you order the contacts. As it took an extended amount of time to get me a second apponitment the perscription expired. If I went back there were going to make me start the whole process again even though they were also accontable for the delays. I cannot recommend this company and urge people to stay away.

I just made my last visit to this facility. Earlier in the year when I first started working with…read morethis eye doctor I had quite a few challenges in scheduling and communication. I hope it was a one-time thing, but today once again I drove an hour to come to the office to pick up contact lenses based on the specific guidance provided by the representative of the called me today. After driving an hour I was told that I cannot pick up the lenses without rescheduling an appointment with the doctor. This is the second time that I've taken off work and made the trip based on their guidance over the telephone. I'm no longer a patient with this organization, and I would highly recommend you consider how much time you may spend in dealing with their disorganization. When I worked with Dr Washington she was fantastic, unfortunately I cannot continue to waste my time and money.

Dear Managers I am…read morewriting to file a formal complaint regarding the service I received at your Clermont office. I had an appointment with the orthopedic doctor and, afterwards, I was seen by an optometrist technician. I paid my deductible at that time. Later, when I returned to pick up my glasses, I immediately noticed that the prescription was incorrect and I could not see properly with them. I reported this issue to the optometrist technician, but instead of correcting it, I was told to "try the glasses for two weeks." Unfortunately, wearing them made my vision worse. After two weeks, I returned and requested to see the doctor again for the correct prescription. At that point, I was told I would need to make another payment before another appointment could be scheduled. This is unacceptable. I paid my deductible and trusted your office to provide me with the correct prescription. Instead, I received glasses that do not work, my vision was negatively affected, and I was asked to pay again to correct a mistake that was not mine. I am requesting: 1. A new and correct eye examination with the doctor at no additional cost. 2. Replacement glasses with the proper prescription. 3. Assurance that this type of issue will not happen again. I expect a prompt response to this matter. If it is not resolved quickly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint to my insurance company and the appropriate regulatory authorities. Please anyone who care about yourself and your family please share don't use this plac.

I made a mistake but not checking the Yelp reviews first. I checked google reviews and they were…read more"good enough" but I didn't think to check Yelp. Celebration Eye Care Center is genuinely trying to rip people off for their own financial gain. Here I am thinking I am supporting a small business instead of going to a corporate optometrist and this was such a mistake! 1. They do not value your time. You can show up early and you will still wait 30-45 minutes. Dr. Grand (the older doctor, this place is ran by the grandmother and her granddaughter who is also an optometrist) seemed like a nice enough woman until she took over an hour to do a simple exam/contact lens fitting and then didn't tell me that I'd have to come back again in two week to see her to get my prescription. They won't give it to me until I come back. Okay fine, I guess I will take another day off of work to come in and have my eyes looked at for 2 seconds not like my time is valued to them anyway... 2. They use scare tactics and purposely do not tell people their rights. I looked up my rights, but have never had to do this before with any other eye place because I never have felt like someone took advantage of me. BY LAW IN FLORIDA your contact lens prescription is valid AT LEAST two years. And for glasses FIVE YEARS. They purposely attempt to write it for shorter so you have to come back more often. 3. Mind you, I've been wearing 2-week contacts for over 15 years, they switched me to a one a day contact (same brand) and refuse to give me my prescription until I come back and have them "checked." I went back to get them "checked" and she asked me how they were and then handed me the prescription. Didn't even bother to look at my eyes. At the end when I went to checkout, they were angry I wouldn't buy my contacts there. I had to ask for all my prescriptions and since then have been trying to order contacts myself from 1800 contacts, but they won't approve the order saying my prescription is valid. So I'm currently dealing with going back and forth with 1800-contacts proving to them I have a valid prescription on paper, but can't get their office to respond. They simply want to waste your time and charge you more money, all while selling you "oh we are a small family run business!!" Family ran businesses should take care of their patients and not nickel & dime you. They should not be shady and do things that are unethical. I will be reporting this business to the FTC. Super disappointing- I do NOT recommend going to see anyone in the "Grand Family" unless you want your time wasted and to be overcharged.

I do not recommend this office or store. The worst care and customer service. I am a new patient,…read moreseen three weeks ago for a contact lens exam. The experience was just ok, and I couldn't walk away with the trial pair because they didn't have my prescription. I was told that in a week to ten days, they will have my contacts, and I would have to wear them for a week before they could finalize my prescription. A week later, I called, and they hadn't arrived. I have a high prescription and need my contacts. Ten days later, nothing yet, but it should be a day or two. Two weeks later, nothing yet. Now it's three weeks later and I called them an hour ago. I was told to hold while they checked whether they arrived. 20 minutes on hold later my call is routed to a machine that says they are now closed. It is Noon! Then it forwarded me to a voicemail, and then it said I couldn't leave a voicemail because the voicemails are full. Who is in charge and running this place? I've called back and am still on hold for over 30 minutes. I should have taken note of the bad service; all I needed was my contact prescription. As someone who's been wearing contacts for 30 years, this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will update this to note how long it took to resolve.
