They are extremely strict on COVID safety. There are no walk-ins. You must call for an appointment and to pick up your glasses. Everyone that works there wears a mask, and masks are mandatory to enter. Your temperature is taken when you walk in the door and you are given hand sanitizer before they will talk to you. They are faithfully sanitizing and wiping down tables and equipment. I tried many times to called to make an appointment, but no one answered the phone. I eventually had to go there to make the appointment. The eye doctor lacked personality and seemed very indifferent. I kept thinking that he must not like his job too much. The rest of the staff however was very friendly and personable. They had a nice selection of designer and brand name glasses. I was able to select two that I was very happy with (every day and sunglasses). It took about two weeks for my order to come in. The sunglasses were ready in a week, but the bifocals took two. Price: Their prices were on the higher scale. The glasses were average, but by the time you add in the extras (tint, scratch resistance, glare resistance, bifocals, etc.), you are up there in price. I have VSP vision insurance and still paid more than I have in the past at other vision centers. If cost is not an issue, they were pretty good otherwise. Overall: My experience was very good, the cost was on the higher side, and I was frequently annoyed at them for not answering their phone. read more

Went for my eye exam for new glasses and sunglasses. Eye Dr. was ok, I just wasn't convinced she had it right. Waited 2 weeks for my glasses, got there, the not very friendly guy at the counter set them down in front of me to try on, I couldn't see at all through them, neither pair, very bad, seeing double, not at all acceptable. Then the guy acted like I was lying, so he looked up my script and told me it was all wrong. Really? Well, since I drove 45 min to get there, I was hoping they could put a rush on the order, he said 'it takes 2 weeks' that isn't acceptable as far as I'm concerned. I'm actually thinking about canceling the entire order, and going someplace else, this experience has been awful. I do not recommend this office or store. The worst care and customer service. I am a new patient, seen three weeks ago for a contact lens exam. The experience was just ok, and I couldn't walk away with the trial pair because they didn't have my prescription. I was told that in a week to ten days, they will have my contacts, and I would have to wear them for a week before they could finalize my prescription. A week later, I called, and they hadn't arrived. I have a high prescription and need my contacts. Ten days later, nothing yet, but it should be a day or two. Two weeks later, nothing yet. Now it's three weeks later and I called them an hour ago. I was told to hold while they checked whether they arrived. 20 minutes on hold later my call is routed to a machine that says they are now closed. It is Noon! Then it forwarded me to a voicemail, and then it said I couldn't leave a voicemail because the voicemails are full. Who is in charge and running this place? I've called back and am still on hold for over 30 minutes. I should have taken note of the bad service; all I needed was my contact prescription. As someone who's been wearing contacts for 30 years, this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will update this to note how long it took to resolve. read more

Sad to say but I can no longer recommend this place! First on the eye dr side I was told if my eyes were dilated it would be 40 mins before the dr could take a measurement! Or pay $50.00 for a procedure that would eliminate dilation and dr could read right away! I paid the $50. Next person arrives and they are given same choice but their wait time is 25 mins with dilation! On to the eyeglass side! One technician- I left after waiting close to an hour for service! No apology or acknowledgment from the check in person ! Not a great way to run a business! This family of three will be going elsewhere for glasses! read more

Everyone was great on the phone and helpful with getting my appointment set up. However on the day of my appointment, i4 was shut down in both directions. As everyone from Central Florida knows, the surrounding roadways get beyond jammed with traffic. I called to inform them I would be late. However there policy is only a 5 minute grace period, regardless of the circumstances. I asked to move my appointment later in the day, but this was not possible despite them closing at 6 pm. I wasted 2 hours sitting in traffic before turning around. No compassion. I'm sure they are a great place, just don't book an appointment on days with traffic. read more

The optometrist Dr. Lopez is awesome. Very kind and efficient. The optical staff not so much. The gentleman at the front desk (I believe was named Paul) was extremely bothered by any questions asked of him. It was my first time with new insurance and just trying to understand the process. Extremely poor customer service skills. After your exam you are pushed to buy very overpriced products without clear communication of insurance coverages. I felt like I was buying a used car. After speaking with my insurance company, I will be going to Costco in the future. Probably the worst optical experience I've had in 45 years of correct lenses. read more

There are only 2 staffembers attending to customers and I have been here and hour waiting on them to get to me. I have been using, or wearing, soft lens contacts for more than 40 years. I have an astigmatism and have developed a liking for acuvue oasis for astigmatis. I in fact wore them into the office for my eye exam. When the new prescription was completed I was told the only test contacts I could get were in a different brand but if the prescription was ok I could get them in acuvue. The prescription is good, but I don't like the contacts. I called to get the prescription to order the acuvue contacts online and was told the only brand the doctor would approve was the one she forced me to get for the test contacts and the person spoke to treated me as though I were an inconvenience. Miss Martha, at the optometrist reception desk was friendly, communicative, and helped us get in for appointment that traffic delays would have costed us. her imaging work was fast, pleasant and streamlined to the point of putting my past eye exam experiences to utter shame. The optometrist, Dr. Patel, further forwarded this pleasant and expedient experience. She was easy to talk to and clear to understand. Coupled with the expediency and jovial demeanor of store employee Jisaury, all in all we got through three exams, bought three new frames, and were checked out in what was factually a little under two hours, but what the pleasantness of the visit left feeling more like a span of no more than 20-30 minutes! whether visiting from out of town, or seeking a new local optometry solution, I THOROUGHLY recommend this location! read more

I have to say that I'm really impressed with this Strip mall vision place. I have been here twice for my kids (not me yeah Lasik), and both times have been excellent. Well, I'm back! I couldn't help myself. The selection of frames and the "special" Transitions that Janitsie(Jani) got me, for my first pair 6 mos ago, well, I had to have a second pair. This frame that Jani showed me(along with about 8 others) ended up being my fav of all of them. I also went with Grey Transitions(btw, they work IN the car PERFECTLY). So I treated myself to having 2 pair, totally different frames and lens colors-Thank you to the Supv. Jani & to the Store Mgr. Tempest!! My Wife bought her new pair here, too. I had gotten eyeglasses from Visionworks before, but not from this particular store. I used their doctor for the eye exam for the first time. I found the doctor to be very thorough, as she asked me about my ophthalmology exam, and actually confirmed and double checked things my ophthalmologist had informed me about. The ladies helped fit the frames I selected and went over my lens options with me. Visionworks takes my insurance, so my out of pocket expenses were about a third of what they would have been without insurance. They gave me a date as to when I could expect my glasses to be ready. My glasses arrived a few days earlier than expected. I went down to pick them up and the ladies adjusted the glasses to my requirements. Two days later I noticed a screw had gone missing from the glasses. I went back there today and the gentleman behind the counter replaced the missing screw in minutes, and cleaned my glasses as well. I would most definitely return to this store the next time I need new eyeglasses. read more

Staff was friendly and understanding about the difficult decisions in picking frames. They did not rush us out the store and kept saying take your time. Manager Tempest Mahesse was so rude and unprofessional, they have a $29 deal so they can get you to the door, then you go there they have kids working they don't know what's going on, they want to charge me $80 +$29, I was told my glass has extra stuff to make, ripoff. I was nice and calm about it, even after I waited about an hour there, I said I'm here now and you have a deal going on can you give me a good deal, when the young girl went to the manager to ask for a discount, the rude manager yelled loud voice and said no and other thing, I felt embarrassed when everyone in the store heard the rude manager talking about me, she can be nice and come to me to explain things and be nice, also for beginning I should of been told I will be charge extra, instead of waited all that time. read more

After almost 3 months my wife FINALLY got one pair of her two ordered. This was a nightmare. I have worn glasses since I was 3 months old (yes way back then) and have never had a difficulty in getting a prescription for lenses filled until this time. The store is all but a nightmare. They took the old lenses that my wife had bought from them a few years ago and tossed them out with the excuse "we din't know you wanted them" and then "well you didn't specifically ask to have them returned" it took them 4 or 5 revisions to get the script right and multiple returns to the Optometrist to recalculate the efforts of the optician. Eventually my wife decided to JUST have the normal lenses made and cancel the sun glasses and will get them done at another entity (Lens Crafters here we come) but the managment at this store is absolutely sub-par and trust me I am going to be telling Highmark Corp's CEO (who I actually know) how BAD the operation represents their brand. RUN don't walk away from this store if not the local chain because they are VERY good at excuses why NOT but not very good at getting things done RIGHT. As a surgeon if I operated as poorly as they do I would have a trail of dead bodies in my wake but the manager's only comment when told about the anger and distrust was "well do what you want" I will including finding time to contact the CEO back in PA she didn't even know the CEO of the company she works for's name or even the top corporate entity her check comes from) and getting this straightened out Optometry used to be a proud profession now it is ONLY a fashion statement and like designer shoes has NO place being a healthcare industry partner. I would give no stars if that was a option. The general manager if in fact she was ? Became very argumentative during the visit. Her lack of professionalism was astonishing. If a customer becomes upset it seems to be there tactic further upset the customer. Pointing fingers at someone , talking to them like a chastised employee. Serious customer service training needs to take place at this location as it's severely lacking. When you're spending over $500 on a pair of glasses you expect to be treated with more respect and less argument. Initial interaction with the staff was great. We were told we had to make an appointment for an exam, so we sat in the waiting area for the doctor. That's where it got bad!! One of the other employees came into the waiting room and started being rude to my wife because her chair was against the wall, and mentioned that's why the chair was in another location (my wife hadn't moved the chair at all). She then scolded us that we weren't going to be seen today, which we already understood (which is the purpose of making an appointment). When we tried to explain to her that we already knew that and that's why we were here to make an appointment....she was very condescending to us and told us she would make the appointment. We then got into an argument about how rude she was and she just continued to be more rude. Needless to say, we left the store (they have now lost a customer).
