Everyone that works there wears a mask, and masks are mandatory to enter. Your temperature is taken when you walk in the door and you are given hand sanitizer before they will talk to you. They are faithfully sanitizing and wiping down tables and equipment. I tried many times to called to make an appointment, but no one answered the phone. I eventually had to go there to make the appointment. The eye doctor lacked personality and seemed very indifferent. I kept thinking that he must not like his job too much. The rest of the staff however was very friendly and personable. They had a nice selection of designer and brand name glasses. I was able to select two that I was very happy with (every day and sunglasses). It took about two weeks for my order to come in. The sunglasses were ready in a week, but the bifocals took two. Price: Their prices were on the higher scale. The glasses were average, but by the time you add in the extras (tint, scratch resistance, glare resistance, bifocals, etc.), you are up there in price. I have VSP vision insurance and still paid more than I have in the past at other vision centers. If cost is not an issue, they were pretty good otherwise. Overall: My experience was very good, the cost was on the higher side, and I was frequently annoyed at them for not answering their phone.

Waited 2 weeks for my glasses, got there, the not very friendly guy at the counter set them down in front of me to try on, I couldn't see at all through them, neither pair, very bad, seeing double, not at all acceptable. Then the guy acted like I was lying, so he looked up my script and told me it was all wrong. Really? Well, since I drove 45 min to get there, I was hoping they could put a rush on the order, he said 'it takes 2 weeks' that isn't acceptable as far as I'm concerned. I'm actually thinking about canceling the entire order, and going someplace else, this experience has been awful. I just don't know how it could be so bad, from the guy at the counter, to the complet mess of my prescription. I am done with Visionworks

The leading head receptionist was very nice, friendly, and personable. She walked me through the check-in process and did the photos for my eyes. After that, I saw the primary eye doctor, Sandoval. Dr. Sandoval was alright, but she was very go-go-go when it came to the eye exam in general. She dilated my eyes, had me sit in the office and then came back to get me after thirty minutes. It felt rushed, but it was as thorough as it could be. I was told I did not need much adjustment in my prescription. However, I was told that I needed to monitor my eyes for Glaucoma in the future. After my eye exam, the salespeople on the main floor were trying to push me to buy new glasses. However, since I didn't need much readjustment, I didn't see the need to purchase new glasses. You could tell the salespeople were disappointed when I kept saying, "No." I was not enthusiastic about this place. It felt like they wanted to get you in and out as quickly as possible and make a sale. At least I got my eyes checked.

Given my long-standing experience with him, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my vision needs. A few years ago, I made the mistake of purchasing my progressive glasses and sunglasses from another provider. Unfortunately, they didn't perform as expected. While I could see distance clearly, I struggled to read my phone screen and use my computer monitor. After dealing with the frustration for a couple of years, I decided to return to LensCrafters, even though they're out of network for my insurance. The difference in quality was night and day. In December 2024, it was time for an update, and I couldn't be happier with the results at LensCrafters. Both my progressive glasses and sunglasses are performing beautifully. I've learned the hard way that cutting corners and saving a few dollars isn't worth the hassle of poor-quality eyewear. I'm so grateful for Dr. Manikowski and this LensCrafters location--my vision has never been better.

So I said to them what other options do I have because I really like those glasses and would like to have it repaired or replaced. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that they could find a pair similar to the one I already had. They did. They remove the lens from my previous pair and put it in a new solid black color frame. The design of the glasses are very chic and magnetic meaning that I could get a different color clip on frames to make my glasses stylish. Some…read moreof them are better than others I have been told, both by patients and the ladies at the front desk and on the phone. I do like the fact that they have multiple eye specialties in-house, so if there was a problem Florida Eye Clinic would still be able to provide care. One location handles the scheduling for all of the locations. Between annual exams, getting new glasses, and contacts, I've made a lot of appointments. Some I've cancelled and rescheduled; one they cancelled & scheduled due to a hurricane. I've always gotten a call back if not later the same day, always by the end of next business day. I did leave a voicemail on a Friday evening once with a concern (not an emergency), and got a return call at 8am Monday morning. The Kissimmee location also has the optical department (glasses store) in house as well, but I do not know if that is the same for all locations. At the Kissimmee location, Dr. Sandoval is great and probably the best optometrist I have had in the 10+ years I've been seeing optometrists/eye doctors. Contacts require at least 2 appointments-- the initial exam & fitting, and a follow-up. If they have to order the trial pair(s) or there is an issue, then that would mean a 3rd appointment. I've experienced this at numerous places so it's not abnormal. The administration staff was efficient at check-in & check-out. The parking lot at the Kissimmee location can get full, especially in the mornings when they have a lot of appointments. Appointments can run behind sometimes, but I think the longest I waited past my appointment time was my very first visit and it was maybe 15-20 minutes. They seem to be busiest right before back to school, when everyone is getting glasses for the school year, and at the beginning of the year when benefits start. Some tips: There is a single unisex restroom in the main lobby/waiting area. When planning your travels, there is an elementary school on West Donegan Ave and the carpool line can cause congestion at the intersection with North Central Ave if coming from that direction. If it's your first visit, do the paperwork before you arrive! It's a lot of writing and there's more paperwork when you get there. If you take medications, write down the names and the dosage.

Today they are the opposite and just suck. From making you wait 3+ hours for your 9am appointment is just disrespectful, let alone unethical. I have lost all faith in this company and advise anyone to please go seek help to a quality institution that actually cares.

I have worn contacts for at least 7 years with only one minor mishap. This is the second, more ridiculous and expensive mishap. I had a big glob in my eye, and I'm sure the color powder had something to do with it. I wanted someone good to look at it. I found this place on my insurance website. Having no clue as to whom to choose, I decided to pick a doctor that appeared to have an East Indian name. Dr. Saira Choudhri. Perfect. The office was kind of hard to find, but I did after some driving around. It's across from the Loop behind the Vitamin Shoppe in a professional office park. I just felt like everyone in the waiting room was old. I was the only young person. The feel was clinical, and rather impersonal. It needs warmth. Not a discount, just an observation. Dr. Saira Choudhri is more qualified than necessary. More beautiful than necessary. So, here I am, with blue still coming out of my nose from color run, and now yellow coming out of eyes, with a gorgeous, overqualified eye doctor taking out my daily contact lens with no effort at all that I had been trying to get out for the past 3 days. And she tells me I have allergies in that eye, gives me my drops, and I am on my way. And I am suppose to see her again in 6 months. I felt as if I was dealing with competent people here who really know their stuff. It's a professional and clean environment, and would definitely recommend. I just don't think you'll go there to make BFF. See, told you it was ridiculous.
