The team here was super helpful, even offering to tweak the pair I was wearing to make them fit way better.

If you're looking for a new eye doctor, your search is over. After being with my previous eye…read moredoctor for over ten years, I was forced to change because of my new insurance. I've been wondering about the health of my eyes recently just because I'm in front of a computer most of the day and my allergies have kicked into high gear this year. The waiting room is modern and has a ton of frames to choose from. With a younger doctor he uses more technology and the new knowledge really stood out for the best. The doctor isn't stuck in old run of the mill exams and really wanted me to know the health of my eyes and the real expectations to have. Here's a fresh new doctor with great technology, very informative, and surprisingly gave me a history of my eyes just by looking at my prescription. He was able to tell me that I was wearing thick glasses at 8 or 9 years old and that my prescription will continue to progress because of genetics. No other eye doctor has told me that. Instead he also recommends more antioxidants to help my eyes. He gave me new lenses which aren't your normal commercial Acuvue or others and told me to come back when I'm ready for to order my yearly supply of lenses. No pressure at all!

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience at Southwest Orlando Eye Care…read more Before my appointment, I completed all required paperwork and provided my insurance information in advance. Yet when I arrived, they couldn't find my insurance in their system. After unnecessary back-and-forth, they eventually located it -- something that should have been handled before I walked in the door. It only got worse from there. Once they realized I needed a full eye evaluation and assessment of my scleral lenses, they informed me I had been scheduled with the wrong doctor. My options were to either wait another hour or reschedule entirely. Since I had already driven an hour each way, I agreed to wait. Then I was told the doctor only spends 20 minutes per patient -- and that if I actually needed scleral lens fitting or proper evaluation, I would have to come back on another day. At that point it became very clear: their priority was protecting the doctor's schedule, not providing patient-centered care. There was zero ownership of the scheduling mistake, zero attempt to accommodate the situation meaningfully, and no concern for the fact that I had invested two hours of driving time. Healthcare is supposed to be about patients. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience to their calendar. This was a complete waste of my time. If you value efficiency, professionalism, and being treated like a patient rather than a scheduling problem, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Cute merchandise gift shop. They have all of the Disney park merch necessities, like bathing suits,…read moretowels, etc...plenty of Stitch merch, and they also have brands like Rocky and non-Disney branded merch. I love a good gift shop, but my only complaint this trip, which I am sure I will repeat, is that they do not seem to have super unique items at each gift shop stop, they seemed to have made this year's souvenirs and sell them everywhere. I ended up getting the spirit jersey rash guard at my hotel instead of the park since they discontinued package delivery back to the hotel. That was a perk I really enjoyed in the past. I hope Disney looks at the reviews and decides to offer this service again. They still have it at Universal, which allowed us to shop at the waterpark and not worry about carrying our items home. I think if they enjoy being spending money and making ample purchases, they would bring this back.

Another huge Disney gift shop, you say? Yes, yes it is. Although, because this one is inside…read moreDisney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, you're more than likely going to actually need a few things from here. One thing that I consider to be an absolute must to purchase is this plastic water-proof case thingy you can wear around your neck that also floats. No, I don't know the name of it, but when you see it you'll know what I'm talking about. LOL It has enough room inside to place objects like credit cards, cash, an ID, etc. Most people put everything inside of a locker when they get to the park, but who really wants to be running back and forth all day long to grab money, etc.? No one. A great gadget that I highly recommend you purchase. It'll also last forever, so you can use it in the future whenever you hit another water park. Then there are the items that people always seem forget (some absolutely necessary) like sunscreen, lip balm with sunscreen, sunglasses, beach towels, goggles, flip-flops, disposable underwater cameras, etc. Yes, these items are MUCH cheaper to purchase before you get on Disney Property, but Disney is banking on the fact you forgot. The beach towels are pricey (about $20 a pop), but they have really cute designs and they are actually very well made. I seriously have a couple of Disney beach towels that are a decade old and still look brand new even though they've been washed like a million times. They are also super-exhorbant. Some of them feel thinner than others, but they all get the job done. Cheaper beach towels you might purchase at Walmart are just that.. cheap. In my opinion, $20 for a Disney beach towel is worth the price. It'll also make your kid happy to be able to pick out a really cute one they love. The underwater cameras. I personally happen to own an underwater camera, but I know a lot of people don't. This is an item many people don't think to purchase before they hit a Disney water park. You'll probably pay triple for it here, but they are worth it if you didn't think to bring one. LIke the four major Disney Parks, they have photographers here who will take your photos all day long, but you'll pay dearly for them in the end. May as well take some yourself. You'll also find things here such as swim suits (for all ages), backpacks, beach jewelry, clothing items, buckets and pails for playing in the sand (cute little sand scoopers with a Mickey icon handle), etc. Think "beachy" things... that's what you'll find. And if a thunder storm hits and it starts pouring down rain, you'll also find every single person in the Park trying to huddle inside this shop. This always amuses me since everyone is already soaking wet anyway! LOL
