The reason I give them a chance is that they called me last week to do my yearly eye exam, so I decided today was a great day to do so because it is my day off. When I made the appointment, I indicated that I wanted to do my eye exam and order contact lenses too. When I came in and signed the paperwork, I even noted that I wanted to do both. The assistant conducted the normal routine, and the incompetent doctor called me in quickly to do the eye exam. I felt rushed and disconnected from the doctor; it was weird. I should have left at that moment, but I thought maybe that's just how she is. Then the assistant told me to go look for my frame while they would call me for my contact lenses. They never did. At that point, I was undecided about which frame I wanted. I was going to come back because I felt I needed more time, so I asked the female associate at the front of the store for my RX paperwork. I even explained that I needed more time to think about my frame because I was truly undecided. I wasn't sure why she was being so rude; she folded my RX paperwork in a rude manner and handed it to me. At that point, I didn't want her to help me with my frame, but for some reason, I decided to keep looking because I was undecided. For crying out loud, I'm going to wear the glasses for a year; I need to think about it. She left, I guess for her break, and the male associate was there alone. In that moment, I found the right frame, or so I thought. He proceeded to fit the frame and all that jazz, and I reminded him, "Hey, I also want to order the contact lenses too." He told me the incompetent doctor didn't handle the contact lenses RX, only the frame RX. He said to just wait 20 more minutes; she would come back from her break, and we could sort everything out. So I decided to wait; after all, I had been there for a while, so why not? When the doctor came back, the guy even spoke to her and told me the doctor was fixing the issue. I guess it was his turn to go on break, and the rude associate returned from her break and didn't even know what had unfolded. The assistant went back and forth with me about the contact lenses RX since the incompetent doctor wouldn't come out and explain the situation to my face, perhaps because she knew she messed up and didn't want to face her mistake. The rude associate was talking to me at a thousand miles an hour and not letting me speak. That's when I decided to ask, "Can I get my contact lenses RX? I am leaving. I can't do this with her." She didn't want to give it to me. I asked why not; you gave me the frame RX, so why not the contact lenses RX? She was so condescending towards me. That's when I said, "Okay, give me my $109 back. I'm taking my business elsewhere." She was telling the assistant not to let me take the paperwork and to document everything. I told the assistant I wanted documentation of the refund, and I gave her the useless RX back. Trust me, with how everything unfolded, you think I'm going to trust that RX paper? I want to go to a whole different doctor and start over again because we are talking about my eyes, not some cute little shirt. If that's how I'm going to be treated, I don't want to give my hard-earned money to Visionworks. Proceed with caution when it comes to these people because they will try to scam you and not give you what you paid for. And I want to give a huge thanks to the rude associate for making me change my mind in the end.
