First of all the eye exam from the resident optometrist is quick and efficient. It's all digital now and the result is amazing. No more which is better A or B - LOL! Perfect with. 5 minutes. The proof was I. The eyeglasses. When I put them on (made and available for pick up within a week), I teared up just a little. I didn't know what I was missing. Clarity. Sharpness of the images. Wow! Frame selection is simplified. Shop by lens shape (round, square, rectangle, etc) and price. The guys running the place will get the best deal/insurance pairing for you. Got eyeglasses and sunglasses, both with corrective lenses, for a very reasonable price! I called this location to set up an appointment. The call was picked up quickly and the woman who answered said she was putting me on a brief hold. Fine. No big deal. After being on a brief hold for 25 minutes, I hung up. If this is the way they manage their business, I don't trust them with my eyecare. read more

This place has very terrible service, maybe not Visionworks where you buy the glasses but doctor portion is very bad. We were 5 min late because of traffic, there was no one in there waiting for an appointment and they wouldn't take me. The next appointment was late too which I watched them walk in and the accepted them and took them. We have been coming here for a while and they just lost our family's business forever over 5 minutes. It's crazy the way people can't accommodate normal issues that happen in life. I'll start with the good: extremely friendly and polite staff, convenient location. But the rest is not good. My wife and I arrived on-time for our scheduled appointments, only to have to wait over half-an-hour due to them putting walk-ins ahead of us. Then after we were finally seen and ordered our glasses, my pair arrived on time, but my wife's arrived 11 days late, and we had to push to get information. When pushed, we were informed that the frame was out of stock: why couldn't this have been told earlier in the process? My wife could have ordered different frames, or used her vision benefits elsewhere! Anyway, when my wife's glasses finally arrived, they appeared to be the demo frames, but with prescription lenses, owing to the fact that one screw is loose, they appear to have been worn before, and did not include an original ray ban case or lens-cleaning cloth. And finally, on my personal prescription sunglasses that I ordered, they refused to include to factory non-prescription lenses, and blamed my insurance for this. Upon calling my insurance, they confirmed that this was not their policy AND I should have been given the original lenses. So 11 days late and I was lied to. Never Again Never again. read more

This dr was amazing no problems what so ever. The staff at this location is completely disrespectful. They add on all these add on chargers without telling you which basically they make you get it if you want it or not. That's not how you do business forcing your customers like this makes a consumer not trust you. And I have ZERO trust in this office as they have done me a disloyal service. At 6PM, I called to schedule an appointment. Their business hours for M-F was listed 9AM-7PM. Store clerk answered and informed me they are not currently taking appointments since they are closed. I mentioned the business hour listed. He responded they are only open for sales in the store. He advised me to call back tomorrow during their business hours. The doctor portion was in and out and easy. Doctor was very nice. The picking out the glasses took a bit as they have a really good selection (this is a good thing). The waiting to get fitted and lens selection took a bit however as they were busy when I went (around 5pm). But overall great experience. Got my glasses almost a week before expected. read more

I came into this store several times due to the purchase or my frames keep coming apart never got the frame replace fit to the manufacture defect in the Splendor frames came in in March and was told that they couldn't help me again on Saturday I came for them to tighten my frames told to wait by the door some one. Came in after I did and they let them come in and sit yet still we had to wait by the door why do Visions works keep treating me and racial profiling me when I spend my hard earned money in your store why when I ask you when my warranty on my frames were in tact didn't you replace it with another frames. You didn't feel I deserve the same customer service treatment you give others. My family and I went there this morning. We had an appointment for our son at 9:00A.M. We were running a little late. We ended up getting there about 10 minutes late. The guy that was there was extremely rude. He was on an iPad when we got there and ask us to wait, then he asked us how he can help? While i was speaking he proceeded to go to his computer. He never once looked at us. I understand we were a few minutes late but he acted as if we were hours late and basically told us it could take hours to get us in. " I don't have an estimate time, I don't know. I don't have a time to tell you". The entire time never once looked up. This was my first time, and it will not be the last, I was immediately greeted, my appointment was at 9:15, and I'll be damned, the very first eye doctor, I was actually taken back at 9:15, all the staff was very friendly, the doctor was very professional, when it came time to choose eye ware, the staff told me exactly what my insurance covered, after the eye exam, I was immediately greeted by the glasses staff, 3 walksfull of glasses my insurance covered, I was told I could even call a friend and get their opinion before I chose a pair, a very pleasant experience 2/10. Picked up glasses today, another wonderful experience, the only thing which isn't major, I never got a call my glasses were ready, I just happened to call because it's been a week. read more

I arrived 10 minutes early to my scheduled 11:15am appointment today, checked in with paperwork and copies of ID and insurance info, and was told to browse at frames and I would be called up shortly. the waiting room was a little crowded so expected a bit if a wait, end of the year and all... I waited for 45 minutes and watched two guests who arrived after me get called before going back up to the counter to ask how much longer it would be and to confirm they had me down as an appointment instead of a walkin. Came to find out no one had put my information into the system so my check in was never recorded. The girl at the desk asked the other girl to take me back next then looked at me and said "Ok so you will be next". She didn't explain or apologize for me waiting so long even though I scheduled an appointment and walk-ins were being serviced before me!!! I did not leave the store until almost 1:45 and i didn't even sit down to order glasses or get fitted for frames!!! Spent almost 3 hours for 1 routine eye exam! Dr. Kimble was a nice, informative physician but the customer service in the rest of the store was unacceptable! Will not be returning to this location. read more

I would give no stars if possible. My husband and I had appointments yesterday at this location. They charged us $100 when our copay is $10. The extra was for a mandatory retina exam they charge that is not covered by oír insurance. Mandatory per their store. Not clinically for two healthy young adults needing routing eye exams. Needless to say, I was so enraged by their customer service and the cherry on top the optometrist's unethical behavior through our conversation. Will never schedule an appointment with any Vision Works store nor recommend one not even to the flies. read more

I just ordered 2 pairs of glasses and got them for Bogo! I had my eye exam with Dr Kimble there and I must say that she is one of the best eye doctors that I've ever had to check my eyes. I had seen another top Ophthalmologist in Orlando thinking that I was getting the best doctor for my very bad eyes, but Doctor Kimble at Visionworks made the other doctor look like an amatuer. The other staff helping me fill my new prescription were equally professional. Doctor Kimble was outstanding. Will update this review when I get my new glasses. read more

TERRIBLE! Went there to pick up two pairs of glasses with my wife - went OK, she was satisfied with her purchase, BUT - I asked them to adjust my glasses and they said sure. I handed them over and when Lori returned with them, the lenses were damaged. They were high index lenses, and she must have hit them with a lot of heat when she adjusted the temples, and now the lenses are crazed (lots of hairline cracks in the surface) - completely unusable. She wouldn't admit to damaging them - said the lenses were that way when I arrived - ridiculous. Spoke to the manager and she offered to give me 50% off a new set of lenses which would cost me (discounted price) $125 for clear, single vision, 1.59 index polycarbonate lenses. I left disgusted. I ended up going to Costco and getting the lenses replaced for $113 (single vision 1.59 polycarbonate lenses WITH Transitions auto darkening at their REGULAR price). The Costco opticians said they remove high index lenses from the frames when they make frame adjustments to prevent crazing. Obviously, they know a lot more than Vision Works. I'll never go to Vision Works again. A simple adjustment that should have been free cost me over $100! Their regular pricing is so high - more than twice Costco. read more

Great customer service and vibes. Great selection for men's frames both aesthetically and financially. I have Cigna but this is the first time a receptionist had taken the time to explain all the special discounts on certain frames I could get, not just the allotted "frame fund". Normally I go to Bayhill in Dr. Phillips but this was wayyyyyy more economical and had more choices. I got two pairs of prescription glasses (both designer) and a pair of prescription sunglasses for $250, copay, lens upgrades and all. read more
