Overall such a pleasant experience. My eye exam was quick and easy with Keith and Dr. Maggie Toth. On the sales side, Nehru was so patient with me and a joy to converse with. He allowed me to explore the entire inventory, showed me all my transition color options, gave me prices with and without features so I could make the best decision that I would leave happy with. Left with a beautiful pair of prescription glasses and 50% off a second pair of prescription sunglasses. I love them and can't wait to get them in! I visited this location on 12/23/2025. The eye exam was flawless , Dr. Toth is great. I was going to write an Amazing review of the customer service and care until I got to the resale side. I selected my frames, sat. Own with the very young sales lady and when she worked up my out the door price she gave me a price of $900 plus after my insurance.I asked her go show me the breakdown on her tablet and she just would not let me get close enough to see it. She was so rude, disrespectful and I felt that she was calculating for her own sales goals. I left and took my prescription down the street and my cost was $249 for the same exact designer frames,same prescription, lens extras like scratch,glare, etc. This place is a joke! An Anecdote for context: Yesterday, I was at the hardware store to get a little tiny battery for my car key that I couldn't read the numbers on, and I handed it to the guy - who was about the same age as me. He took one glance and rattled off the numbers, I said: "What's the name of your eye doctor? Your glasses are better than mine!!" He replied that he was due for a new exam. Making small talk I commented: "That's what I get for going to LensCrafters, they were overpriced and don't work!" I was surprised to hear him retort: "Yeah, they're mall prices and flea-market quality". I couldn't agree more with that statement. Sounds like he's a former LensCrafter customer like me. Eye exam was rushed and part of it was automated. I don't think the "independent" eye doctor gave me a good exam, which led to poor glasses. These glasses were expensive and for that much money they'd better be perfect. But the store employees were unwilling to let me keep the first attempt lenses, (which kinda worked, but not perfect) to use as a backup. This would effectively have given me a spare set of glasses, and that much money for a good and an almost good set would have left me a much happier customer. But they adamantly refused. I felt lied to. I know those old lenses were going to be tossed into the trash can. There is an old retail management adage that apparently this manager was oblivious to and the punchline to the story is "Let the man have the pickle". It's core to retail customer satisfaction, especially at the prices (and commissions) they get. Yet she was ignorant of it - and with a hint of pretentious attitude as well. The hill they chose to die upon was that the eye doctor was a separate business and not connected with LensCrafters, if I wanted to beef about my exam I needed to take it up with them. Through this, they showed they don't care for my time or satisfaction, as they shirked all responsibility toward 'those strangers' in the back of the store. So as soon as I can recover from the enormous amount spent already, I'm getting good glasses SOMEWHERE ELSE! I'll never go back to LensCrafters. I feel they didn't value my time, because they keep asking me to come back, instead of working hard to get it right the first (or second) time. But there isn't going to be a 4th 5th or 6th visit to let them play trial-&-error with me. My time is more important to me than it is to them, apparently. I hold a very deep regret for using LensCrafters. If you're reading this, I hope you have a better experience than I did. (it can't get much worse!) I think I would have had more satisfaction throwing 7 hundred dollar bills out my car window and watching them flitter away in the rear view mirror, than I did spending the same amount at LensCrafters in Orlando, FL near Baldwin Park neighborhood. read more

I had a good initial experience during my visit to LensCrafters. However, I ordered my glasses on 11/18 - and did not receive them until 12/29, FORTY-ONE days to get a pair of glasses. I called on multiple occasions only to get voicemail stating someone would call me back within 48 hours. I tried contacting their corporate customer service and got the run around. The one bright spot there is staff member James - when I could get to him, he did his best to assist. At any rate, I got the glasses and I like them as much as I expected to, but from a promise of 1-2 weeks to 41 days is unacceptable. No more LensCrafters for me. read more

Can I take stars away from them...?! Complete lack of customer service by judgmental, pretentious employees. The female manager is condescending, belittling, berating, and demeaning. She enjoys discriminating against others and starting heated arguments to prove and substantiate her discrimination. Theres a special place in hell for her and her staff. The staff goes out of their way to notice customers with a disability and then treats them with absolute and deliberate hostilities. Corporate could care less, and will tell you so repeatedly. Avoid this company if you value being treated with respect and dignity. read more

I LOVE this LensCrafters. The optometrist is very nice and efficient. Scheduling an appointment is very easy. They just remodeled the store and it is so fancy, clean, and well organized. In particular, Keyla, an assistant manager, is awesome! She is knowledgeable, kind, and always gets us a great deal. I have now bought three pairs of glasses from her and will certainly be returning! Even on weekends, there is never a wait to be helped. I strongly recommend this store. read more

They gave me my paperwork and someone else's paperwork at this location. I hadn't noticed until the girls working at an awesome Fort Collins, CO location pointed it out to me. This is a huge HIPPA violation.. I'm upset because this man now has my information as I have his. Very poorly operated business; not to mention I was charged for an eye visit and the doctor rushed through my visit because my eyes were "red" and marked me down as "not approved for contact lenses" because of this. I never should've been charged because I was NOT given an exam, I was rushed in and out within 5 minutes and given the same prescription. The doctor in Colorado had no issues giving me a new exam and prescription where we actually did the entire eye exam. read more

Lens crafters refused to post my real review on their website. They suck in plain English. The lied to me then made glasses that would not transition in a car, after they told me they would. They told me buy clip on Sun glasses! After spending over $440 on transitional lens. Total incompetence in all their stores. This place does not answer their phones when busy, and doesn't even have an answering service. I called the eye doctor that's located in the back of the store, and they refused to walk 50 feet to the front to notify the retail clerks that I was trying to get an answer to whether the glasses I paid $463 for 9 days previously were ready for pickup. Instead she said that they were all busy today and could I just call back later? She verified that there is nothing wrong with their phones and that they just ignore calls when they get busy. LensCrafters - Optometrists Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Within the past year, I have ordered two pairs of high end frames and lenses from this location, and both times, they have been defective. Strike 1 My first pair, which was valued over 880 dollars, took 3 months to get in, and broke within 3 weeks. The lens broke with the simplest adjustment. This should've been caught with their "quality check." Luckily, they were covered under the 90 day warranty, so they're going to be replaced. Strike 2 The second pair, valued close to 700 dollars, took 14 days to come in, 4 days past the promised date, and if I didn't call them to ask, I would've never known they were ready. I called them ahead of time, explained to them that I live out of town and was coming in for just a few hours to visit my family and had to leave to head home early. The glasses were in and they had to "quality check" these glasses and it would be ready by or around 5. I asked if they could be ready earlier and they said maybe. Around 330 I was done with all my errands and needed to make my drive back to my home, I called again and asked if they were ready and the Jamie said no, go find something to do until 5, like go to a bar, and come at 5. So, at 5, to their convenience and not mine, I went in, waited about 10 minutes, picked them up, and made my back out of town. Strike 3 I got home and there is a blemish on my lens! Right in the middle of the left lens, there is a bump, which makes my vision really blurry if I look straight ahead. Shouldn't this have been caught in the "quality check" that delayed my return by 2 hours? Next day I called them and explained to them the situation. They said that they'd need to "see" the blemish in Orlando or I can bring them to the nearest LC to me which is 16 miles away, 32 miles round trip, about 1 hour drive time round trip. I explained to the rep, Jamie that this was a major inconvenience to me and I would greatly appreciate it if they would order a new lens for me, so in 2 weeks, when I returned to Orlando, I can drop by and swap the lens out. To my surprise, Jamie (playfully) said: 1. No 2. I need find my own time at my own convenience 3. "so what if it was 32 miles round trip, that's nothing, only an hour of your time, figure it out!" 4. Go to the other lens crafters to let them see it, so they can order me a new pair of lenses, 5. Wait another 10 days, find MORE time to make a 32 mile round trip Or 1. I can wait another 2 weeks until I return to Orlando, and bring them there, to have them check it out 2. Wait another 10 days for them to fix it 3. Then return to Orlando to pick them up Either way I have to make extra trips What frustrated me was: 1. Jamie had absolutely no consideration for my time 2. I already waited 14 days for a pair of sunglasses, delayed my trip for 2 hours for a QC that didn't happen 3. Now, I have to make my own time to drive 32 miles rountrip, allocate an hour of my time, just to SHOW someone my lens is deformed. Then, I have to wait another 10-14 days for them to be fixed, then make more time to drive the same 32 miles round trip, allocate another hour of my time, just to pick them up. I shouldn't have to make any effort to FIX this because none of this should've happened. Now, there is one thing that I will take from Jamie, which is to go to another Lens Crafters, permanently. I will not return to this Lens Crafters to spend another dime. This one goes down in my books as one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered I am disappointed to have to write this type of review because I have made a good friend from this same location. Luckily, he no longer works at this location. If you, my friend, ever read this, thank you for taking care of me and handling this problem even though you don't work at the E. Colonial location anymore. You shouldn't have to waste your efforts to fix something you didn't cause, and because you did, I will make the extra drive to visit your location from now on. read more

Two pair of premium tri-focals + insurance was just under $800. Never really bonded with the sunglasses in Ralph Lauren frames. Repeatedly asked them to match lenses to the prescription as my "clear" pair seemed to be excellent but the sunglasses seemed out of whack. "No they are fine," they said. Recently brought the sunglasses back to them to show them that when the frames closed they had scratched the inside of the lenses. Checking the receipt, they discovered the lenses were 10 days out of the one year insurance warranty. "Sorry no, the insurance expired 10 days ago... but for $637 we can have a new pair ready for you in a couple of weeks." Really?! Well that's not happening. Neither is any more of my business for LensCrafters. read more

This place gets HUGE kudos from me. Moved from VA, had problems with my contacts, so was in my glasses, then my glasses broke and I had no other options, unless I wanted to buy a seeing eye dog, lol. I aquired a cool pair of glasses from a friend and went to this store to hopefully get lenses put in. Even though my prescription had expired, since I bought by (broken) glasses from them originally, they were allowed to transfer the same prescription from my current lenses and build me some for the new frames............whew. Neil at the store was great to deal with, the more details I gave him, the more options he gave me. And never once did it feel like a "sales" pitch. So this place is my new favorite Lenscrafters. read more

The front desk staff and doctor were very nice but the wait is always very bad. They take you on time but then you have to wait way longer than the 15 minutes it takes for your eyes to dilate. The selection for eyeglasses is not as wide as other locations and I wish the eye doctors stayed consistent here so you could build a relationship. read more

He adjusted my frames to better accommodate my face, given their very high index lenses that usually give me trouble with fittings. He even popped the lenses out to better adjust them and I have never seen any other Lenscrafter employee do that before, so I'm glad he was able to fix them in ways that were had never been tried on my glasses before. On each occasion, I have been greeted in a friendly manner and received highly professional service. In particular, Allen (manager) has been extraordinarily helpful and accommodating on every occasion. He truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Although it is tempting to buy glasses online because of the considerable price savings, I will continue to patronize this LensCrafters location because they have consistently met my needs professionally and personably. read more

My first Eye Exam at 52 yo. What a fantastic experience. A good friend recommended to go to Lens Craftes where he goes as well. I was a little scared, but what a SUPER experience from making the appointment over the phone to the person who checked me helped me with the paperwork and the fantastic doctor who made a super friendly and professional impression. I work in hospitality and I haven't made such a great experience in a very long time. Taylor and Arianna war soooo nice and helpful and Dr Vi Nguyen was fantastic as well. I absolutely adore Dr. Regina Tran! She is such a wonderful doctor and really took her time with me despite my problem. I have pretty bad astigmatism, at least enough that I noticed my new prescription glasses and contacts were giving me problems at work. So much so that I was coming close to making serious errors on the job. When I found the time (about a month later) after our initial appointment, I called and they arranged for me to see Dr. Tran to get some help. I saw Dr Tran (or her husband, the other Dr. Tran) a total of 4 times to find the right prescription for me. She tested both my contacts and had the opticians help me figure out my glasses were sitting too far down my nose. My contact lens problem was a bigger issue, and we went through four prescriptions before she found my right one. I can see down to 20/20 again with both eyes, 20/30 with my left. My job is such that I couldn't afford to not see the details, and instead of Dr Tran just shrugging her shoulders and telling me to deal with it I could tell each visit she really cared and tried her best to figure out how to best help me see. Initially I was worried that a) I would never see well enough for my job and b) I might have to go and seek a second opinion that still might not have me seeing well enough. Dr. Tran didn't give up on my vision and for that I am truly grateful. It takes a special person to be confronted with a problem and keep working at it until it is solved. I'd confidently recommend her to anyone. read more

Came inside LensCrafters and I didn't see anyone at the receptions desk right away so I walked around for a few minutes. Arrived 20 minutes before appointment time in order to complete paperwork, something I was not asked to do but I figured it would speed things up. I was ready before my appointment time so I looked at glasses while waiting so that I knew which pair I would buy. I wasn't taken back by the assistant until 20 past appointment. The assistant finished with me then sat me in the exam room, which was freezing, for another 30 min before the doctor arrived. At this point I am an hour into the appointment and don't get dilated until another 15 minutes later. I have to wait another 15 minutes to get a reexamination once my eyes are dilated. While my eyes were dilated the receptionist had me pay my copay, which is ok, but I feel it maybe should be done before dilation only because I felt silly trying to sign something I couldn't see. Reexam showed my eyes haven't changed since 5 years ago and I just need to keep using the same pair of glasses I have had, just more frequently. Great, that saves money. However I just wasted 2 hours of my day and nothing changed. Not their fault for that part, but I wish the appointment only took the 30min-1hr that I was told both over the phone and also when I filled out paperwork. read more

I had my first appointment Saturday morning at Lenscrafters with Dr. Cynthia Rodriguez. My experience was great. She was friendly, thorough and very knowledgeable. When I brought up some discomforts I had experienced with contacts that had been issued by a much less competent doctor (Sears in Pompano Beach), she immediately pinpointed the problem and armed me with solutions. Needless to say, the contacts she fitted me with are very comfortable. She also told me that if these didn't work, she would continue to work with me until we found contacts that would be a comfortable fit. I'm so pleased to have found an eye-doctor with whom I feel comfortable and who takes time with her patients. It was a very pleasant experience and well-worth every penny spent. read more

They helped my daughter pick out frames that we could afford and replaced lenses in an existing frame - took a while to get the glasses in, and their was some confusion as to where both orders were, but the staff was great. We were on vacation and my daughter scratched my husband's eye (cornea). We came in on a Saturday and he was seen very quickly. Dr. Tran was great. She saw him for a follow-up on Sunday (not something you can get very easily from most Dr.'s offices) and again on Tuesday. The treatment was excellent - he is doing much better. The Optometrists and the retail store staff are good. Getting a hold of the doctors office is hit or miss. The retail side is constantly asking for your name and number so the doctor's office can call you back because the annoying receptionist is too busy pretending to be an eye doctor instead being a receptionist, like simply answering the phone. Her attitude being far less than desirable is what makes going there so unpleasant. Doing your job and letting customers know that it will take more than 5 weeks for their contact lenses to come in would be helpful, yes? (By the way, why promote a brand of lenses that will take so long?? These would be Coopervision for the future victims) Like I wrote, the eye doctors themselves are good. They are professional, thorough and very nice. Sheeva, Sheeja or whatever the receptionist's name is, needs to go back to wherever she is from and take lessons on how to defuse situations in a professional manner and not fuel them. Her repetitive, unhelpful remarks are not smart or clever, just aggravating. Sadly, she takes away from the rest of the office's professionalism. read more
