The staff was helpful but not overbearing or pushy. The shopping experience was very comfortable and inviting. The checkout process was quick and painless. Mixed bag review. Marked down because they do not accept EyeMed. I am not an expert, but I think that is one of the most common vision insurers. Had I rated solely on products and people, it would have been a 5! Great selection of frames as reasonably priced as advertised. Thorough eye exam, also reasonably priced, by Dr. Maria who really took her time with me. And then expert, patient assistance selecting my frames and options by the tech whose name I have forgotten. And she gave me a great lunch recommendation to boot. I feel it is a great value. I purchased 3 pair of glasses (progressives, reading/laptop, and sunglasses) despite the fact that they did not accept my insurance. Store is bright and colorful right on Park Ave downtown Winter Park. And my glasses will be delivered to my home, so no need to go back in unless they require adjustment (although that would have been a nice excuse to have another Winter Park lunch somewhere). read more

I came in to order my first pair of glasses and had a good experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They let me look around and checked in to see if I needed help. Ordering my glasses was super easy and they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I love when sales people are readily available and helpful without being pushy. I visited Warby Parker in Winter Park for my annual eye exam and routine glasses. I had a lovely experience. Dr. Yasmeen Awada was very sweet and informative - she was able to answer all my questions, and disclose all my concerns... she effortlessly walked me through the exam. From beginning to end, it was a breeze. After my exam she even took the time to check out some frames with me (which is normally the technicians that are located on the sales floor role). I took a lot of her recommendations into consideration and funny enough ended up ordering the same frames she was wearing :) This location was only 10 minutes from where I live so it is/was convenient for me. While my insurance wasn't covered here, I have the freedom to choose where I'd like to go and submit a claim to be reimbursed (I knew this before my visit) therefore it did not hinder my experience at all. I'm very satisfied with my decision to come here. There's something very attractive about the simplicity of the store and the nice clean forefront. I can't wait for my new glasses to arrive. I decided to take my mom in to Warby Parker for an eye exam and have her pick out new eye glasses as a gift for Mother's Day. It's probably been 20+ years since she had her eyes checked and she's been wearing terrible readers and using a magnifying glass to look at her phone lol. She also refuses to drive at night because she can't see, so I decided it was time to make her go to the eye doctor. She's a fashionable lady, so I knew she'd enjoy picking out trendy glasses at the very least. I was able to easily book her eye exam online, and Dr. Yasmeen was wonderful (and patient) with my mom. After getting her eyes checked, we determined that my mom needed help seeing both up close and far away, meaning that progressive lenses would be the best option for her. Well, I didn't fully realize the price tag that came along with progressive lenses since I don't wear glasses myself and boy, did I have sticker shock. I wish the price difference would have been disclosed up front. I was so relieved that I was able to use my HSA account to cover the cost. We also, decided that she would need prescription sunglasses, so we tacked that on to the bill as well. All in all, I spent about $700 for the two pairs + the eye exam which is quite a bit more than I was anticipating. Luckily, they were delivered to my mom within 10 business days and she's loving them (especially now that she can actually see) which is the most important part. read more

Final update- within less than a week unfortunately the experience went from being 5-Star to 3-star. If you don't plan to use vision coverage then by all means I recommend this location. However if you do want to use your full vision benefits, you're better off using them at a different provider (and then coming here to try eyewear, after getting your Rx/Pupil Distance measurements). For some reason, despite being told when making the appointment that I would be able to use vision coverage for eye exams at this location, it turned out that this was false. From my understanding, when speaking with the reps at Warby Parker when attempting to have this resolved, this is somewhat unique to this location. Still not sure why. Now I have to go through the tedious reimbursement process with my vision plan and wait for review to (hopefully) get some money back. For this reason I can't recommend this location any longer for those who have vision benefits to use. read more

I had the best experience today at Warby Parker's new location on Park Ave in Winter Park. They have an amazing selection in comparison to the Mall at Millenia location. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful too -- we had two people checking in on us and making recommendations for my husband and me. I popped in to look at options for prescription glasses and sunglasses and found SO many pairs I loved. Finding the right new frames is easy too because they have everything grouped by style and labeled by width -- everything from extra narrow to extra wide. As someone with a wider face, I love having so many options that work for me. Their glasses are also very affordable, with most frames including prescription lens at around $145. On top of that, Warby has a Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program that provides free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to adults and children. To date, the program has distributed over eight million pairs of glasses, within the US and around the world. You can make your glasses budget go much further here and know you're giving back too. I ordered a pair of prescription glasses that should be delivered to my house in the next 5-10 days and I also picked out a pair of sunglasses that they fit me for right in the store. I'm so excited about the glasses -- they're a limited run of clear frames that have a small tortoise inside rim -- very unique and fun! I will absolutely be back. read more

We've been to this location twice now and I'm always wowed by level of customer service! Their optician is super kind to both myself and my daughter, helping explain what she's doing and what tests are for. Once you get your electronic prescription, the front staff are very attentive and help you get exactly what you need. Located on Park Ave. Street parking can be a little bit of a challenge. There is a parking garage that you pay for by the hour not far away. They have an assortment of glasses to choose from for women and men. Prices seem fairly reasonable. I didn't end up purchasing any glasses from here. I brought my prescription to Warby Parker to purchase glasses. That is absolutely fine. The problem is with the shipping process. I was advised by OnTrac that my classes would arrive on 5/23. Then I was advised they would arrive 5/24. On 5/24, I was advised there would be a delay due to a discrepancy in the shipping address. This was all handled through text messaging. In trying to help determine what the problem was with the shipping address, I was advised, by text, the only way to contact them, that they would have no information and, the shipment might be received in two days or it would be returned to the original place. I offered to pick them up wherever they might be, and was advised there is no way that can be done. I contacted the store where I purchased them and they said they cannot contact the shipping company and I will just have to wait but that she would also watch the account. When I questioned her what she would see differently than me she said nothing, but as it was within the time period (10 business days) promised we just have to wait. It's simply astounding to me to mention that someone cannot give a proper answer, and no one is responsible for anything. I would suggest to Warby Parker that they try USPS! read more

Happy to report my first trip to Warby Parker was everything I hoped it would be! Like many of us, I was eagerly anticipating the opening of their Park Avenue, Winter Park shop. I planned my eye exam via the app and arrived early for my first visit. I had a brief wait while the optometrist finished with a previous client, but I was happy to look around. The app is a perfect way to pick out your favorite frames. The virtual try-on is a great way to kill an hour (lol). My exam was quick and I was fine with having my eyes dilated. If you are hesitant to drive immediately after there are plenty of places on Park Avenue to sit and relax or walk around. My Sadie arrived in less time that was projected - about 7 days. I most appreciated the affordable frames. I could not see my way to paying $150 for a pair of glasses after the $75 eye exam. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Warby Parker to anyone looking for a stylish pair of inexpensive glasses. read more

Gas, tolls,&time wasted money! 2Exams wrong they DONT reimburse you! Still 4 months later still haven't been reimbursed for the 2 pairs of glasses w/wrong script. Went to (Americas Best Altamonte springs) & prescription perfect 1st time & confirmed warby script wrong!!! Paid only 1 fee n free exams for 3 yrs!!! 4 months later warby DONT have my info after I've lost so much money & time just trying to get my money back! Now they say they only owe me for one pair? Dont spend your time with prescriptions lenses at Warby Parker. In the 35 years I have been wearing eye glasses I never had to go back and get the lenses redone. My husband and I have purchased sunglasses at Warby parker in the past and loved it. This year we decided to break from the norm and purchase prescription glasses from here instead of our overpriced optometrist. The eyeglasses are great but both of our prescriptions lens are far from perfect. The eye exam was completed by our optometrist and not warby parker. When we both received our shipment of prescription eyeglasses and tried them on we feel like we are disoriented. We cant wear them. We tried calling them but they asked us to go into the store. However, we are very busy and realize this is going to take alot of effort to get it repaired and have decided to go elsewhere to get them redone. How are both of our prescriptions messed up for the first time? We are very disappointed in their quality of lenses. For the record I dont have a special prescriptions lens and this has never been a problem. Therefore, buy your frames here but don't pay extra fees for special lenses, go elsewhere. I honestly didn't want to leave a bad review and was excited to buy prescription eyewear here, but its been a lackluster experience. We are both disappointed. read more

I visited the Winter Park Warby Parker store today in hopes of buying (another) pair of Warby's and walked away feeling very ugly thanks to the "doctor" on staff who made me feel completely unattractive and absolutely no help at all to what glasses might be appropriate. This business pulled the bait and switch on me. I went into the store and purchased a pair of glasses and sunglasses, they ran my insurance in the store and gave me a price. I paid in store to have the glasses made and shipped to me. I get an email several days later telling me I need to pay them more money now for my order, or cancel part or all of my order. Really terrible business model if you ask me. read more
