It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and were in desperate need to getting our eyes checked as we work mainly on our computers and haven't been able to have any checkups last year due to COVID. It was super easy to make an appointment online (I love this feature so much) and we were able to book our appointments a week out. As the office is in Baldwin Park, the only parking available is street parking; so get comfortable parallel parking. I felt very happy with the social distancing measures and COVID precautions taken by the office. They only allowed 1-2 clients in at a time and only patients with appointments were allowed in. I think walk-ins would've been welcomed, but only if the office didn't already have clients inside. My entire experience was pretty painless and I ordered a new pair of glasses and received some pretty good advice and recommendations from Dr. Jagani. Kim and McKenna were super helpful in finding me a pair that suited my face. I docked half a star because they tried pretty hard to sell me on doing a retinal scan/photo -- while I understand that it would likely provide good information about my eyes, I didn't feel that I needed/wanted it during this appointment. I had declined it on the online Patient Intake Form, but was offered the service on three separate occasions during my appointment. It just felt a bit awkward having to turn down something four times, in total. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service provided by Baldwin Park Eye Care and am happy to have them on my medical care team.
