My mentor gifted me a visit for an eye exam and a new pair of glasses as a graduation gift. I loved those glasses with my WHOLE heart and wore them throughout the first couple years of my time at Cornell, prior to my prescription changing. While I now only peruse their collections in-store or online from time to time, I have always appreciated how they've kept up with the trends in styles and their wide range/variety in frame styles, shapes, colors, you name it. They offer such unique looks as well and it's just a great eyecare store. Even though I haven't had the insurance that SEE takes to have my frames and exams fully covered here, I never rule them out of rotation when shopping for new frames. I do get a slight percentage off, so I keep that in mind as well. It also helps that any time I've visited their storefront that the staff is AMAZING. I went to their store this past weekend to take a gander at some of their frames and was helped by Lillian - she was just a doll! Super sweet, kind and very knowledgeable of the frames. She helped me determine some pricing of frames that I was interested in as well as looked up my insurance benefits to give me snapshot of what my insurance would cover in their store. Again, my current insurance through my job is not an insurance that they take, however, I do get some discounts with my current insurance. All in all, this eyewear store is just a gem! They offer great service and even cooler, funkier eyewear styles. You cannot go wrong with SEE eyewear!

At that moment, I didn't think of leaving a review, but today I received a call, and when I returned the call, the receptionist didn't even know why I had been contacted. When she figured out it was because my glasses were ready, she asked me to make an appointment to pick them up, always in a very rude manner or without any interest. Although I speak Spanish as my native language, I can understand and speak English. Even so, when I asked for another date to schedule, the lady rudely replied: "Spanish speaker? Ok, wait..." and transferred me to someone else. But in a very disrespectful way, because I never told her "Can you repeat that? I don't understand, I can't talk to you..." I just asked for another date. She transferred me to someone who speaks Spanish to complete my appointment. Apparently, Mrs. Christine doesn't want to assist you, or not in a friendly manner. It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.

They have a stylish guy named Brian who helped me pick out my frames. I wanted something beige and basic and went out with cheetah print with teal accents.
