She Did help me with my contact prescription and went through various trials until she found the right script. The glasses side however... I purchased a pair earlier in 2023. When I went to pick up, the glasses didn't feel like they fit. Too big. So I said something. The attendant put them back on my face and pressed them down into my ears telling me they were fine. I would end up going back FIVE TIMES to have the new glasses adjusted because they were too big. Each time being told thinga like "they're fine, they fit fine I don't understand what the problem is, try this adjustment out for a little while", and my favorite, "why are you working outside, of course they'll feel too big in the heat". Meanwhile, I was wearing a broken pair of old glasses because the new ones DIDN'T FIT. I go back and complain, saying I want to exchange. They did do the exchange but did not refund me the difference between the new pair that were too big and newer pair that fit.

It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.

Thankfully I don't have any major issues with my eyes; regardless, I am overdue for a full checkup. Scheduling a visit with Dr. Hunt was a breeze. When you call the office a real person picks up on the other end. After a brief conversation and providing my insurance details I had an appointment for the following week, sweet! The representatives at the office call ahead to remind you of your appointment and also send a email if you choose to provide one. The office is tucked away off the main road and is in it's own building; one of several in this medical complex. The staff greet you when you enter and they do a great job keeping everything clean and organized. I was impressed with the layout, fitting areas, and variety of glasses frames they have available. Dr. Hunt was friendly and informative. I asked for the comprehensive vision and eye exam which includes dilation, several visual and ocular tests, and scans of both eyes. Note that dilation and other tests cost about $20 more, each. Dr. Hunt was very knowledgeable and provided valuable feedback while answering all my questions. Dr. Hunt also provided a prescription for glasses that would help reduce strain when reading or driving at night; however, he stated that I have better than 20/20 vision so It's not necessary at this time. All and all I had a great experience at Hunt Eyecare and definitely recommend them. If you are in need of a great optometrist, Dr. Hunt is the one.

This business presented an estimate for services that was inconsistent with my insurance policy and…read moremore expensive. Even after acknowledging the inconsistency, their offer was for me to pay the higher fee or part ways. I chose to part ways. - One the office staff presented the full breakdown of the costs based on my insurance benefits. The initial estimate showed that I was responsible for the entire cost of the contact lens exam. I explained that my insurance covers a portion of the exam and was told that "this is just the way the billing shows up on our end". - I showed the office staff my insurance benefits which specified an allowance, $0 deductible, and additional discount on contact lens exam. - At that point, a different person presented a new estimate. The instruction from the insurance company specifically said "Take the 15% discount before applying the allowance." This was printed on the paper the staff was presenting to me. The amount present by staff was incorrect and took the discount after the allowance, which resulted in a higher overall fee. I asked that this be corrected to match the insurance policy. The staff informed me that this is again simply the way the billing was showing up on the insurance portal. I asked to speak with someone else who could help resolve this issue. - Another office staff came to explain to me that they spoke to the billing manager and they acknowledge the policy (and the print out we were both looking at) says that the discount is supposed to be taken before the allowance, but the difference is only about $20 and my choice was to either accept paying the additional fee or part ways since the billing system could not be fixed. - I chose to part ways since, in principle, I should not have to pay for the discrepancy between Delaney Eye Center's and the insurance company's billing systems. - I wrote a review on another platform about this issue, and Dr. Salazar's response was to dismiss my claim saying that I did not come to the clinic (I did) and that my insurance calculation was inaccurate (it was not. The staff themselves admitted it was accurate.). Super disappointed by the process and the leader's response. A simple apology would have been more effective.
