The waiting room has 2 couches and 2 chairs. There were tons of people there on a midday Wednesday and all the spots were full, but no one was standing or uncomfortable. Actually it was such a cozy spot that the stranger guests waiting were chatting amongst themselves. They also provide complementary coffee and snacks in the lobby. The employees were so professional and kind. You enter to visit the Dr on the right and exit the left to where the glasses are, then talk to someone at a table open to the lobby. I go three days without insulin because of a lack of professionalism, dedication and lack of concern? So while talking to the office manager I cancelled my wife's and three kid's appointments here. The optometrist explained in detail what was going on with my daughter's eyes and broke it down in layman's terms, which I appreciated. The staff was all very nice and welcoming of my two kids, who I had to bring along to the exam. After the eye exam, we were quickly greeted by someone who helped us pick out glasses for my daughter. I wasn't too happy with the price of the frames -- they were a bit high -- and adding the necessary lens features would make the overall cost even higher. I do wish there were more lower-priced frame options available. Overall, it was a great visit to Optical Island. We'll be back for future exams and hope to see a wider range of pricing for frames.

Clinical staff were nice, but to themselves. CON: 1)PAs and doctor seem overworked or unmotivated. This is not a good sign as there are errors made because of this. In fact, there was an error made with a female PA who saw my daughter. She recommended an ear infection antibiotic and did not mention this medicine turns my daughter's stool red. As you can imagine, I freaked out and ended up in the ER during the weekend to be told that it was the meds. I was hit with a 400.00 ER bill due to PA not communicating this one important info. It was surprisingly affordable to have 3 new pairs of glasses to help me see so clearly. I even added transition lenses with the blue tinting to reduce glare on all three. I didn't use insurance and I still didn't break the bank! Service was with a smile and super quick! I was in and out within 10 minutes. That includes adjusting them to my liking. This is the 2nd time I've gotten my glasses here and I love the staff and their selection of frames. I'll see you all next year!
