My wife had a very good experience at this location recently. The ophthalmologist was great, however, most importantly, the optician (Brian G.) who fitted her with the glasses was extremely kind, caring, patient and successful in getting her in a pair that worked for her. You'll see quite a few signed, athletic paraphernalia in the waiting room as the doctor has some of the Orlando Magic and other professional athletes under his care. I was so pleased with the entire experience of getting my first pair of prescription glasses. Dr Leuong is very skilled and has a really fun personality. They have a stylish guy named Brian who helped me pick out my frames. I wanted something beige and basic and went out with cheetah print with teal accents. I love my glasses and get lots of compliments on them ! All the employees have him pick out their frames. He is just a total fashionista who knows what looks good on people's faces. All the other employees are just as wonderful. Linda and Danielle are just as sweet as can be. read more

Very happy with Dr. Ross and his staff. The whole family has been going there for a number of years now. They use a machine to image your retinas so there's no need to be dilated. They also have a nice selection of frames and take VSP insurance. Highly recommend! read more

Lol no record of me as a patient okay Dr Ross, maybe because you "lost them", I was a patient for 6 years so that's a significant medical history to lose. Also, I was certainly charged $25 to get my glasses and vision checked after informing you I had an issue with my glasses not working with the perscription you gave me and you personally informed me at the end of double checking my eyes that your office had "lost my records" without any apology whatsoever. Nice try but, no. Original review: Went to this doctor for years both with insurance and self pay when I was between insurance, but the doctor patient relationship became a HUGE problem when I wanted to get my glasses offline and not in the office. I got my prescription from the doctor and ordered my glasses offline. They didn't work. I thought my prescription looked a little funny, like 2 numbers had been switched. I called to discuss and was treated with attitude. I had to go in and test my glasses there and they said they were definitely what they should be and we're quite rude about it all and charged me to have my glasses tested. I ordered another pair of glasses offline with the numbers I suspected were switched and would you believe that they worked. The doctor then claimed that they lost my entire eye history file for the 6 years or so I had been a patient there. Just, wow. So disappointing. read more

If you don't have a thousand dollars in cash to pay, don't go here- they don't care about you if you have eye insurance, is what I felt. No longer a good office. Dr. Ross has checked out. He has different staff every time I go in. The skinny female optician has horrible energy and a bad attitude and didn't listen to what I wanted and ordered me the wrong prescription. She also tried to scam me to pay for Progressive lenses that are covered by my insurance. She also lied about my coverage just to get an extra $15 out of me for lens polishing that was completely unnecessary for my type of frame. Then when I went to pick up my glasses, another male optician tried to tell me that progressives don't work on distance. What a lie. Dr. Ross heard the whole problem and didn't even offer to help me, just wrote me a check for a refund without even offering to help or talk to me first. And they have little to no frame options in the store. There are lots of other places to go that offer so much more than Dr. Ross does these days. He should just retire before he has nothing left in this practice. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Ross almost 5 years ago and I only saw him once before I moved out of state. However, he and his staff made such an impression in that one visit that when I moved back to Florida last December and needed an exam and a new pair of glasses, I came right back. I was so impressed that after all that time, he and his staff are still amazing. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live anywhere in or near Orlando. I called and made an appointment for a new patient. They were able to get me in quick, but never asked me about my insurance, or anything more than my name and phone number. My insurance company says they are in network. I go for my appointment and the lady at check in says "oh uh we don't take your insurance. But we can help you get reimbursed." I said but you're listed in the insurance company's website, to which she replied, "yea we know." What a joke of an organization- this could have been avoided when I scheduled, any other doctor ask for insurance info upfront. read more

This was my second visit with Dr. Ross and I won't ever go anywhere else! He is such a great doctor and the staff is very friendly. The exam is very thorough and the doctor is happy to answer any questions. He is great at explaining things in a way that's easy to understand. From the lady at the front desk to the guy who helps you pick out the perfect glasses - everyone is so enjoyable and helpful. I've brought my husband here and he loved it as well. I have been going to Dr. Ross, and his staff for several years on the recommendation from a co worker. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was a special place. Dr. Ross takes more time with you than most, explains everything. He does testing I've not had ever. But the Bill is the same as the factory practices. When I was fitted for contacts, he made sure they were just right. His staff hasn't changed since my first visit, and I've bought several pairs of glasses. They'll tell you if a pair isn't for you. I've recommended several friends and family, who all think the same thing. Abandon the chains! Go see this doctor, you'll love him. read more

Wonderful customer service! I couldn't have been happier. I was traveling from out of state and scratched my eye along the way. Dr. Ross' team made sure I was able to be seen when I landed in Orlando. Due to flying, there were some delays and they were very accommodating​. As a new patient, Dr. Ross spent more than enough time with me and answered every question that I had. I was given Acuvue Oasys lenses as I had worn Acuvue 2 for years. Well, they didn't work out and I went in for a new brand. Dr. Ross and his staff went above and beyond to make sure the new lenses fit, felt good and even did multiple tests on my vision and a quick contact fitting to make sure. I paid nothing for the extra service and even received a refund on the spot for overpayment as my new lenses were monthly and not bi-monthly. I recommend Dr. Ross fully and will be a patient as long as I live in the area. Bottom line: He's caring, he's thorough and he is a pleasure to speak with. read more

Great experience! I hadn't had an eye exam in many years so did not know what to expect. Dr. Ross and staff are professional, upbeat and cheerfully answered all my questions. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I opted for the series of three eye exams to establish a baseline for future visits. Dr. Ross thoroughly explained the results, showing my results on a tablet and comparing them to photos of various pathologies he had posted on the wall.
