At my last visit with my 3-year-old, I arrived at 9:40 AM and wasn't finished until after 11:30 -- nearly two hours of waiting. I understand that delays can happen, but this level of disorganization, especially when caring for a young child, is unacceptable. When I came back for my own appointment, I waited over 30 minutes in the lobby before even being seen. I always arrive on time or early and schedule the earliest appointments possible to avoid long waits, but that clearly didn't help this time. It's very disheartening, because over the years I've purchased at least five pairs of glasses, two pairs of sunglasses, and two pairs of glasses for my daughter. I even planned to get another pair this month. Sadly, after these last two experiences, I've lost confidence in the practice. My family and I will be taking our business elsewhere, and my mother -- who was planning to start coming here -- has now decided not to. I truly hope the office takes this feedback seriously. Loyal patients deserve better communication, organization, and respect for their time.

Their frames were all fairly priced. Once you get to the back, the state of the art technology was top tier. I was jaw dropped by the ease and care of the technician guiding me through the process. After the pre eye screening tests, I was ushered into a beautiful little private office exam room where elegantly placed decor and equipment married together in perfect and tasteful style. When Dr. "A" as she is affectionately called, walked into the room, I knew this would be my forever eye place. Dr. A is not only thorough and proficient, but also she is kind and personable. When I looked at the prescription weeks later to order me some more glasses online I noticed they did not have the PD (pupillary distance) on my prescription. That is required to get the distance between the pupils in each eye from one another. I called back to ask could they update my prescription to include that. They told me it's not required to include that in my prescription. Well it was required to order the correct glasses so why would you not include that info? I was then told I had to come back to the office for them to measure and they had a little snippy attitude about it. I am not interested in doing business with a business that gets an attitude for me requesting what should automatically be included on the prescription. This is a tactic to try to keep people from getting a better price on their overpriced glasses and I do not appreciate it As a result I will not be patronizing t going forward .

Dr Mohamed was so thorough and not rushed. Great demeanor and I could not be more happy with the quality of the exam and tests and her recommendations. I looked at frames and the employees checked in with me a few times even though they were busy with a full store and didn't high pressure me but I knew they were there if needed. I do think I'll end up going somewhere with more high tech frames lightweight materials and hinges - the high end frames they had were more heavy and had traditional hinges and prominent designer logos on them which I try to avoid, but they do have a ton of choices. I liked Dr Ambareen Mohamed enough to go to her every year even if I have to get my frames somewhere else. On my insurance the practice is listed as Avenue but it's inside this LensCrafters.

To be fair, the tech came and got me about 10:45 and did the initial scans; after that, I got put back out in the waiting room again and called back in for the doctor. She did give me time for questions, but everything was happening so fast I couldn't think and then had several more after I left. The checkout lady, Mary, was very kind and helpful; she got me an appointment quickly and easily. Walking in was confusing; the check-in kiosks are around the corner from the entrance, with no clear signage, so I didn't have anywhere to go until I wandered around and check in via QR code. Not the best experience, but like I mentioned, options are pretty limited for healthcare these days. These guys were able to see me within a week, and, end of the day, I was satisfied with my care. Plenty of parking, easy entrance, clear signage to find the office (it's in a medical building with numerous other offices).
