Well, $15,000 out of pocket and I am back to wearing glasses full time. Even worse is that prior to my surgery, I didn't need reading glasses. Now I can't even see the food on my plate when I eat! I have to wear prescription sunglasses during the day and regular glasses at night and when it's raining. The glare and halos at night make my driving scary and dangerous. I knew that with only 2 star reviews that I should have chosen another ophthalmologist but Dr. Cohen had a pretty strong sales pitch and I took the bait. Listen to the reviews and make your choice wisely. I had such high hopes of being glasses free for the firts time since i was 9 years old.

She argued with me about anything that any other doctor has told me about my condition. She basically told me that I was on my own as far as seeking recommendations for a specialist for an eye condition that I have been diagnosed with through testing. She gave me very bad advice about further treatment for my eye condition. She had a "God" complex as far as her time and treatment of patients is concerned.

I was only 23 years old at the time and very fearful of the operation itself. Dr. Schoenberg walked me through everything step by step. This gave me some faith in him and the machine before the operation. It wasn't until during the procedure when I realized what a great Doctor Schoenberg is. The nurse was saying technical terms to him while he was operating and Dr. Schoenberg's response was "I am not worried about that right now, I am worried about Charlotte." That is when I had complete faith that Dr. Schoenberg. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing and was taking good care of me. I was beyond grateful to have him as my doctor. After he was done with the Lasik surgery he was BEYOND excited for me, so excited that he even asked to take a picture! That meant the world to me, especially because I've never been able to see clearly. I have always had glasses, since the age of four years old. I will never forget his kindness and enthusiasm for this big change in my life. I was one of his youngest patients and I am telling you right now, it was hands down the fastest and easiest procedure I've ever had. My eyes have stayed at the 20/15 vision even after three years later. Great staff and wonderful experience. Goodbye glasses and good riddance!

This is terrible "care" It feels more like a meat factory. People are waiting forever to be seen. I am here with my mom, being her advocate because she is being pressured to do cataract surgery and she still does not know what that surgery will do. The doctor is very full of herself, very prideful, sad to watch‍

When I looked down at the foor, the floor appeared 10 feet away, When looked up through the top portion of the lense same thing. The only time I could get sharp vision was if I looked through the very center of the lense. 2 months ago I decided to try a new pair. Had the exam from Dr. Lam, and like before I was escorted to the optical side of the building for new frames. Yesterday I went to pick them up, but while there I could read 8, 10 and 12 point type. But the lettering on the wall which was 20 inches tall was blurry. The sample reading card 8"x8" I was holding looked like a trapazoid! Not Square! The young lady who was fitting me for frames said "we made a mistake and "they" must have over prescribed the lenses. Finally, this morning I called at 9:50 to cancel my 10:15 appointment. I live 5 minutes away. They receptionist said they are going to charge me anothe $50 cancellation fee because they have a 15 minute window limitation on cancellations! Go figure! They will not grant a refund, not part of their policy, even though they admitted by their glass-fitter it to being their own error! They got their $$$ and all they can say is sorry.

We saw a video and how the surgery will be performed. He explained about the healing process and how to apply eye drops and also about the restrictions after the operation. After the consultation we met with the insurance lady who explained about the insurance process and gave us some paperwork. Each person at this office was very pleasant and professional. We were very happy about this location because it's conveniently located close to our home. When it came time for the follow up visit, after the first eye operation, we were able to get an appointment for the next day after the surgery at this location with a different doctor. That was fine too. However, after the second eye surgery, our appointment at this location was cancelled. Reason was that there was no doctor available at this office. So, we had to drive far to another Woolfson office located at a very congested area in Atlanta. Again, the staff was nice. But we do not want to go back to that location because of the construction work going on nearby. The saga continues! We were able to schedule the next follow up appointment in Canton, GA. That was nice because we saw Doctor Paven Korotana who was at the Atlanta location. She was very nice and informative. Hopefully she will be at the Canton location for the next follow up visit. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of care that my husband has received from Woolfson Eye Institute doctors and staff. The only complaint really is having to drive around Metro Atlanta area for different appointments,

We went around to a couple different stores (in and outside of the mall) before landing at Pearle Vision. Although pricier, you were instinctively aware that the glasses were of better quality and the customer service was great. I didn't feel hounded or hassled at all as I freely took FOREVER to try on multiple frames. Keisha was great, being both very knowledgeable about the products and options, and assisting me in finding a frame(s) that complimented my face. She was also very patient. So, when it took me about 3 weeks to select 2 frames, she still worked with me as if I were a new customer or better yet, a loyal regular. I chose 2 frames and a pair of sunglasses all of which I love. I even returned to get the anti glare added on (which Keisha had recommended but I declined) after realizing it affected my driving at night and how I looked in pictures. Love the staff here! Courtney, the office manager, got me in the door, with excellent customer service skills. How often do you hear that anymore? I think these folks try a little harder to BE good, and to give you GOOD, QUALITY service, because they know they're competing with the guys you see on tv all the time. I had a good experience, recommend these folks, and will be returning.
