Having to have cataracts removed might seem like a scary surgery-- it's actually not. The staff at Milan is still working after a major pandemic hit our country. They are a very friendly and welcoming staff. There has not been a time when I felt they were not. You are required to wear a mask when in their office. Continue with social distancing. Yes, they sanitize between patients on all their equipment. They are still up holding all cautions so bare with them. Show up for your appointment and bring your patients. Everyone they see is a priority. I like the staff and the fact that they treat you with respect and kindness. I appreciate that I personally was taken care of and relaxed so much that the surgical process only took 15 minutes for my first and second eye procedures. ( done on two separate dates). The pain factor is minimal and my vision is now 20/20. I didn't realize how much I was missing until I received my two new lenses. I followed all their instructions to the letter, and healed without any complications. Thank you Milan Eye Center for your great customer service and professionalism. The doctor was extremely thorough and even consulted other doctors within the center to formulate a collective diagnosis. I can see super clearly now betrer than the last year or I just undergone the second surgery and it went by quite smoothie I can now see better than I have for the past 5 or more years. The doctor I was seeing (admitted he didn't understand why I was having blurred vision) quit going to the Canton office, and I was told that I needed to go to the Marietta office. I told them that was not convenient for me and that I would like to be assigned to another doctor. They told me that was not possible. What kind of professional medical facility would rather lose a patient than resign them to a different doctor? The change in location isn't convenient, and i am not happy with my current doctor. I had a really bad eye infection because I got Clorox in my eye. The Dr. took his Saturday off to see me, then proceeded to call his girlfriend to find out what they were doing tomorrow (Sunday) . Clinically very competent. Administratively very poor. If you have a problem while recovering from surgery, it's almost impossible to get a live person to call you back. They never, ever return voicemails. A real problem when you need help after having surgery. Can't believe any surgical center would treat you this way!! read more

I saw Dr Karan Sajja 6 months ago. He did a bilateral upper lid ptosis repair. It's been an awful experience. It took 5 months for my left eye to show any kind of an eyelid! I wouldn't go see any friends. I looked like a freak. Now it shows a little bit of an eyelid but it is uneven. He over corrected the drooping. My eyes look too open and it's the shape of a circle. Your eyes should look more like an almond shape. I'm going to have to go to someone else to see if it can be fixed. My 3 year old granddaughter asked me what was wrong with my eyes 6 months post op. Don't let him touch you. read more

I went to Milan Eye Center in Canton , Ga. The Doctor said that I needed eye surgery and I asked him how much it would cost, but he said he couldn't answer that question, and told me to ask the front desk! The front desk says they can't tell me anything unless the Doctor schedules surgery! I've called over and over trying to get the procedure price and appointment for surgery, but instead I get angry receptionist and a complete runaround with no help whatsoever! I'm having to look elsewhere for a better company! Very ridiculous place. Even some of the staff that were doing part of my eye exam , kept messing up and got my measurements wrong. I called for routine exams for both my son and I---- we both have medical concerns with our eyes that we are being tracked for...me with glaucoma and he with astigmatism and some muscle coordination issues as a result of his cerebral palsy. The receptionist informed me that we couldn't be seen if we didn't have medical concerns. I explained the above....to which she told me to just go to an optometrist. We are taking our business elsewhere. What an unprofessional, unknowledgeable group!!!! They need better trained people and a more accurate representation of what they DO there. I think they are a bill mill & only want you as a patient if they can get the big dollars. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! read more

Doctor cut my eye trying to remove an eyelash. He got so flustered that he didn't finish tests. He prescribed an antibiotic that my pharmacist said couldn't be filled because it had been out of production for several years. Then, to top it all off, I couldn't get a prescription for my myopia because the doctor sends everyone to an optician which meant another appointment and more fees to get glasses. I should have just gone to America's Best to begin with. I would not recommend this office. read more
