It's difficult to find anything I'm looking for. Of course they don't have any people on the floor. I picked up the phone so I could find out where something was. I used to enjoy coming to target but these employees are not helpful and don't know what they're doing. I had an email for 10% off and she didn't even take it off. Also nobody helped when I was trying to find what I was looking for. I had a 20 dollars gift card on my phone that she didn't know how to take off so the supervisor said that she had to rescan everything. Heck no am I waiting around to rescan everything because she doesn't know how to do her job correctly. I came here last month and there were two girls stocking things and they wouldn't even offer to move their cart so I can get through. They were just gossiping and laughing. Ugh. If you actually make it out through the parking garage alive, I congratulate you! This Target leaves a lot to be desired. Though it's large and seemingly in charge, the selection is actually quite dismal. But the clearance selection here is much bigger and better than I've seen at most (hence, the 3 stars). I've been here a few times and always has been a good experience. They even have a Starbucks inside the entry, plenty of parking but on the weekends it is a bit crowded but there is a 2nd floor parking just in case. Plenty of things to buy, and most of the store is nice and neat. They have two floors so you may have to go up or down the stairs or elevator to get some things. read more

While this semi-new store is large, it is not in charge. Since this is the closest Target store to my house, I have to stop in here lots. I am very familiar with the strange parking lot, only because I've been there so many times. However, people who aren't so familiar are confused, and it shows. The parking lot gets jammed with these confused would-be shoppers. The layout of this store is quite odd as well. I have never seen the ladies department on the second floor of a Target before. I dislike this Target... It never appears to be neat; the cloths are on the floor or on the wrong rack. The home section seems to have the least upkeep out of any department. The seasonal stuff is always in disarray. The parking lot here does suck. I comprehend that I am going to be walking around in the store so I don't search for the closest spot, but getting to the Target in the HIP just sucks. The selection of the Target chain is great. Some prices might be suspect on some items in direct proportion to the quality. With that said just like anywhere else there are deals to be had. The exchanges and returns are great, nothing but kudos there! My family has used the Pharmacy for quite a while without incident and that is a huge plus. This target is HUGE. Several floors if you need to just run in get ready for a marathon lots of walking. Plus it being connected to the mall it gets over run with kids and teens just walking around being annoying not spending money. Its usually very messy and unorganized .The lot is a debacle in it self its usually full or people who don't know how to park or drive making it difficult to navigate i try to avoid this target at all costs unless I'm at the mall already. read more

Not a bad target, but two issues: 1. Dual level setup makes merchandise a bit harder to find. 2. As long as they were going multi-level, Target missed an opportunity. The developer built them two extra parking levels above the store. They should have built four levels and made it a Super Target -- we have none in Chicago or the inner burbs. read more

I don't do reviews. but I ordered today at 10:02 am. it is now 3:01 pm I've called 10 times I took screen shots of everything. they never picked up. yes including trying different departments incase one was to busy I've worked retail I know it can get crazy. but come on. this long and no response ?! I'm sorry but I'm traveling with a sick 1 year old and I was trying to avoid going into the store because of her high fever. so I canceled everything.... it was just cat food at that. hard cat food wet food and one cocomelon toy 3 items only. two being in the same section. but anyway. no one answered. 10 times. I've never had a bad experience. but this was my first time trying to do a little k up order at target on Harlem and Irving. crazy thing and lucky thing is that the second I canceled at 3 pm it gave me my money right away. which someone on a budget appreciates I was scared to cancel sooner knowing I needed the cat food and me not having the money refunded in time. but over all wow ! i. can not believe a manager allowed 10 calls to be ignored with being busy with the holidays again I know this. She's the type of manager who's more comforted by calling target guest service herself to "double check" and pencils the name down of the person SHE is talking to. If this place is promoting from within, I'd mostly recommend rotating staff and sending in a GM from a different location to clean up the place. Yikes. Quite a shameful waste of time, energy, and pay roll at all costs. To the supervisor that held my phone after they demanded I prove I was actually on the phone with guest services, im disappointed you felt compelled to press the mute button under her leadership. Ok Target, so you sell Apple products of all sorts yet you do not accept Apple Pay? The whole idea behind the system is to avoid carrying a wallet so you don't lose it. Total waste of time. To assume that a store that sells Apple products would at least be able to take advantage of this technology was a great mistake. read more

Standard Target with ample stock. No issues with the store or staff. What I do have issue with is the disgusting bathroom. The company used to clean their restrooms should be fired. I went here at 8:30am on a Thursday. 30 minutes after opening. Had to use the restroom, walked in as a member of the cleaning crew was walking out. Can someone explain why the restroom was filthy 30 minutes after opening and 30 seconds after a member of the cleaning crew walked out? There were unflushed toilets with feces. The sinks had scum all over the faucets. So disgusting. If you want to increase your chances of catching hepatitis stop by the top floor toilets! read more

It's Target, what more is there to say? However, the employees here are unbelievably ghetto and unprofessional. The last time we were at the checkout we were completely ignored by the cashier because she was too busy yapping with her friend (who I assume was an off duty employee). The friend had 2 newborn babies and the cashier was pregnant, and they had the most graphic disgusting conversation about pregnancy, bleeding, spotting, cramping, dilation, etc. right in front of us. Both of them were complete trailer trash, no more than 20 years old, and covered with gang tattoos. Don't know whats happening at this Target, looks like piles of junk. Every aisle you go is either limited merchandise, a total mess and the women's and men's clothes are a total disaster. Unfortunately I get the consumer makes a mess, but as you can see there is no recovery from the employees. Starbucks is just as bad. By far the WORST TARGET EVER. Unfortunately for me, I live in the area so it's the only choice I have. Their selection is abysmal. They are always out of basic things that I need like garbage bags or Archer Farms skim milk. They never have my size in undergarments or shoes. Their children's department - don't even bother!! Not only is it a huge picked-over mess their racks are always EMPTY. Always. The funny thing is it's a huge two-story Target. They recently remodeled to include a large food section. But like another yelper commented the layout is just so hard to navigate. If you enter on the 2nd floor you have cards and gift wrap to the left and women's clothing to the right. I've always been a city girl, and hailing as I do from the wilderness of the Irving/Albany Park borderlands, have not had the advantages of civilization like having a Target close by. However, I do have a bus pass and I'm not afraid to use it, so when I learned that there was a shopping center way to hell and gone down Montrose from where I was living, I hied me over there to spend quite a lot of money over the years. I was shopping there before they put a lid on the mall. I remember when they broke ground in what once was a parking lot to turn the whole of the south side of the plaza into Target. I remained unconvinced, savage that I was. Why were they taking away my Walgreens? My Hallmark card shop? My currency exchange?? But after much harumphing and what seemed like a decade, the store opened and yes, I was tempted, brothers and sisters, by the promise of Starbuck's and discount pricing. And lo, it was good. Very good. In fact I spend a lot of time and money cruising Target for wonderful deals on all the fribble I consider so essential to a decent life. I get good prices on Method products, on bedding and towels, on kitchen goods, on DVDs and on all sorts of scrapbooky fribble which I use for decorating since I am not of the scrapbook sisterhood. I prowl the clearance shelves and snatch up amazing bargains like pillows, planters, garden lanterns and a Buddha. I shop off-season for obscenely low prices on holiday gear. I even get my prescriptions filled there, and while the staff is always polite and helpful, there is one problem with the pharmacy which makes me want to tear my hair out. All the pharmacists take the same lunch hour. Since it's apparently illegal to dispense meds when a pharmacist is not on duty, it seems really silly for everyone to just pick up and go at the same time. And nobody I complain to seems to get that I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to have lunch. I'm not stupid, I'm just asking them to make things a little more convenient for their customers. And that is why they lost the fifth star. One of the most refreshing aspects of going there is that if you're at the Starbuck's you're less likely to be in line behind someone who is vying for the title of Most Annoying Starbuck's Customer in the World. You know the person I'm talking about, the one who consistently makes orders that place him/her at the top of the Starbuck's Asshole Meter (The more complex the order, the bigger the asshole. It's scientific, I swear.) The 5.5 shot venti latte heated to exactly 175 degrees, with half skim, half 2% milk, but NO FOAM, a shot of regular vanilla and half a shot of sugar-free almond, and exactly two shakes of cinnamon. Oh and leave room at the top for a teaspoonful of cream. Yeah that's the one. Anyway, you don't get that very much at this place. Mostly they sell frappucinos to the teens who have delusions of sophistication, plain coffee to the plain guys who are waiting for their wives, and a plain old latte and cheese danish to me because their cheese danish is really good. Yes, brothers and sisters, I am a convert to The Bullseye. I even like their commercials. But this store in particular is my favorite, not just because it's familiar, but because it's clean, well-stocked and the people are pretty consistently friendly. Also? Great parking. read more

Sometimes I'm not so satisfied with this target. Tonite, I'm elated with it. I went to the one on addison and was lovin' this cute grey cardigan that hides my preggo tummy and of course, they didn't have my size. Nor did they have the cd I was looking for. I just got back from the HIP target this evening, and not only did they have my cute cardigan but I got a great pair of black maternity pants for $17 on sale and my wonderful, glorious Wolfmother cd that rocks, rocks, rocks!! I like this store. It is close by and easy to get to if you use the rear parking lot. The place is presentable and the staff is friendly most of the time. The pharmacy is great, the pharmacist is knowledgeable and trusting. I'm confident that the prescriptions are done correctly, I can't say the same for past experiences with Walgreen's or CVS. read more
