If you know me, you probably see me in various "Five Below" stores throughout the city just to poke around. I like to pop in there and find new, cheap sh*t. Don't underestimate some of the stuff we spot a lot on a regular basis. Often times things incite my inner creativity and you gotta let it run to make life interesting and inspirational. Surely, $5 apparel, decors, and knickknacks are inexpensive, and we all know this phrase: you get what you pay for. However, I have good self-control and don't go wild on spending a ton on non-necessities. I usually buy a couple of items in one (1) visit. If I don't see anything that tickles my fancy, I walk out with three (3) pieces of Air Heads and one (1) stick of cow tales (4 for $1 loose candy deal). I like their incenses. I don't burn them but like to utilize them for decorations. They are $0.20 (as of 09/16/2018) each. The store also provides the plastic bags to put the incenses in at the station. I have purchased their graphic tees in the past. They run small and can shrink a bit after a few of times of wash, like most t-shirts do. Overall, the quality is alright and colors don't fade much. Hubby said this particular location (Brickyard Shopping Center) has a good number of amiibo figurines. I think the geeky people would like "Five Below" because of some merchandise involving with popular gaming characters is carried in the store. I also have seen and scored some cool posters in different "Five Below" locations. All you need is a frame, and ta-da, your living room/bedroom/guest room wall art is done! "Five Below" is a fun store to shop. I would say one of the drawbacks is that there are always children running around, assuming they do so under some type of parental supervision (not-so-much sometimes). I bear with it and don't really care! Employees in the stores are often not too enthusiastic. Nevertheless, they don't give me a hard time. read more

I will never shop at this location and I will never recommend anyone to work here . My son was laid off due to incompetent employees . The store manager does not know how to treat people or his employees ! This was taken to HR and I have spoken to the DM but I'm not sure what actions were going to be taken . read more

Wow, I really hit the jackpot at the Brickyard today. I had happened to see an ad in the Red Eye for Five Below and was like "Huuuhhh?" How have I never heard of this place? Five Below is like a hipper, cooler dollar store with better, brand name merchandise. Everything is $5 or "below", get it? I picked up a cute backpack, Scunci barrettes, a big ole Powerade (for $.69!), a funky wallet....oh! And these little Oxy Clean purse size sprays that I have looked EVERYWHERE for! I was so shocked and happy to have found them here! Anyway, my whole stash of fun stuff was $26. There was other cool stuff I wanted to buy too, but didn't want to go too crazy. I was just generally impressed by the stuff they had ...all under $5. Cool store...fun place to go when you have the impulse to shop but want to spend less than $5. read more

This place a variety of different things much like a dollar store. It's very well kept not messy or disorganized in anyway. They have a lot of neat and interstings things especially for children if your lookin to buy decent toys for a very cheap price!. I tend to stroll in in every now and then never found the need to buy anything but I am always amazed at what surprising things they have. I will be paying another visit soon to finish up some christmas shopping for my neice and nephews!!. I don't get why people are saying it's junk they wouldn't want, with the economy the way it is there are a lot of things at the store that you can use on an every day basis and don't break your pocket doing so!!.. Not a bad idea for a store. Not a bad name either. Unfortunately its mostly junk i wouldnt want. The things i was interested in were priced at five dollars but i wouldnt even pay two. Why pay a security guard ali g lookalike to protect this crap? The only things worth buying were the candies and the joke items. But you can also get that stuff at any dollar store. read more

I love this store. I wandered in one day to see what this store was about. Everything is $5 and below. You can find tons of things that you would at many other store for very cheap. iPad & iPod/iPhone accessories for $5 vs. $30+ at Best Buy - yes please. It's a no brainer. It depends on what you're looking for or need but you can get lots of different kinds of accessories. Cell phone car chargers for $5, can't beat that. Not even the mall kiosks can. They keep this place pretty clean too. read more

UPDATE!!! I have spoke to the District Manager of this store and the guard will no longer be working in this location. I am happy with the quick response of Five Below and their Public Relations team. I will consider shopping in the store now that the issue is resolved. read more

Great place for teenagers or college kids to decorate their rooms, and they have some cute home stuff and kids toys. It's not a regular dollar store with cleaning products, food, etc. They have a huge selection of cell phone accessories like cases but avoid buying any electronics here... The $5 dollar cell phone charger I bought was sparking and overheating and went right in the garbage. The $5 earbuds sounded so horrible I threw them out too. read more

I usually enjoy shopping at Five Below. Today however, I had the pleasure of being followed around by the security officer. Like he was anticipating for me to steal something .
