This place has EVERYTHING you need to set your home up from furniture to rugs, linens, bedding, curtains, blankets etc. Make sure you visit the basement which is a full-on furniture showroom. I hit every furniture store along Central Avenue and Belmont Avenue and this place was the best for prices and selection and it's also large and clean. Don't fear - most of the styles on the floor are very "Euro-esque" which caters to the clientele in the neighborhood. I witnessed a European lady buying couches in brown leather with chrome legs and tassels and financing it too. But they also have less aggressive traditional American styles. Just ask for Ali or Besam. If they don't have it in stock they will get from their warehouse in Elgin. I was looking for a very specific piece. My room is small and there is no room for bedside tables so I wanted a headboard/hutch with cubby holes to hold a water glass or clock radio. I use a futon with a wooden frame as a bed and I wanted a hutch to match. Ali and Besam found EXACTLY what I had in mind and it was only $80 so I was very happy. It's a new, unpretentious-looking outlet store, across road from the A&G Market, near the southwest corner of Central and Belmont. This part of Belmont Central is slowly gentrifying. In order to revive this neighborhood and to boost the business activities, free community parking lot is available on Central. If you feel like paying unnecessary money, I guess you can also utilize paid street parking along Belmont. Hubby and I took advantage of the nice weather to walk down there and check it out what this store was about. Think about "Cook Brothers Warehouse," "Forman Mills," and those major discount retailers (TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, and Marshall's). "Save & Tell Outlet" is like a combination of these three, with the entire downstairs basement featuring all furniture. Since we were on the lookout for a bed frame, we took a peek and found some possibilities. S&T is having a grand-opening special during the month of March on most of their furniture, saving up to $400 on some of the pieces. S&T carries overstock or liquidation from Macy's. The old Macy's tags were still present on their clothing items. I saw some young girls picking out bras and panties. I wasn't that curious, yet hubby was and went straight to the section. He then reported back to me that four (4) bras were on sale for $17. You do the math, and I would say that deal was pretty good! DO NOT BUY ITEMS FROM THIS PLACE. The delivery men are super aggressive. I went to visit my grandma when they were deliverying her furniture. I told them to move because they had a lot of space but instead wanted to block the alley. Insulted me. They then approached my dad's window wanting to attack him. Reminded me of a Anna's Linens meets Cooks Brothers. We were on a hunt for bedding. The prices range from $25 to $80 and tons of options. The store has clothes, socks, bras, underwear, jackets, toys, and furniture (located in the basement). I've passed by this store so many times and never noticed it. read more

Public Service Announcement: Buyers beware!!!! My experience with this company has been a nightmare. We purchased furniture from Save and Tell located at 5619 W Belmont Chicago Il twice and both experiences ended poorly as a result of bad customer service experience. The sales side was pleasant but the delivery of products was a nightmare. The first delivery the delivery driver forgot a piece of my order and had to go back to get the missing piece. Then following set up they left the packaging in my dinning room and told me they do not discard and that we were responsible for that. I complained to the sales rep later that week and he said he would talk to the delivery guy about it and apologized for the bad service. Then 3 weeks later we decided to give them another chance and purchased additional products that were delivered today 12/30/21. The delivery/installers delivered the goods and once again left the packaging in my house. I asked them if they would remove it. They refused and at some point even disrespected my wife by swearing at her and calling her an offensive name. It escalated from there....the bottomline. I implore any sensible potential consumer considering shopping at this establishment to go elsewhere. They are incapable of providing basic customer service. They have policies that run counter to the core principles of retail marketing. It is not worth trying to save a buck and lose your self respect. I ended up sharing my grievances with the owner this afternoon and he was appalled and promised he would address with that store's Manage (Ray) and staff. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!. I'd wanted to check this place out for a while and I left so disappointed. Went in looking for a twin mattress set and they tried to pull a bait and switch on me. The salesperson quoted an attractive price and I was sold. The moment we went to draw up an invoice she conveniently claimed to have an old price list and raised the price over $100. I had the worst encounter with the man behind the register that wouldn't give me his name he gave me the hardest time in picking up my order from wish he makes up his own rules by telling you he needs the scan code from wish app he won't except it any other way when asked who's rule that is he wouldn't answer when asked his name he wouldn't give it he has no kind of respect to his customers no greeting at the door and no thank you on your way out.the store is over crowded and over priced and very unorganized and customer service is horrible I will not give this man no more of my business hope no one else encounters the same rudeness I received from this person! read more

If it was in my hand I will give them no star ! We bought a dining set form shop n tell in Elgin. we had problem with bench that came with the dining set so I called and ask can you guys come n fix it ! Because we have 1 year warranty and they told us just bring it back if somthing happenes. young lady got back 3 days later telling me to send pictures of bench n I did. So Instead of fixing it she told me they will exchange it for store display piece just bring it back. So we did. The so called manager he came out and talking very rudely telling us oh I can't put this on the floor I have to send back and I won't get pay for it ! He sounding so stupid !!! why are they giving the warrantee if they can afford to replace anything!!! Think what if they are out of display pieces !!! Then what !!! He had no clue how to deal with customers! he had very bad attitude ! We are making my payments on time it's not like we getting for free !!!
