Like all other Marshall's locations, better organizations are to be desired. It was Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, the associates were working on straightening. However, the amount of traffic wasn't conducive to their attempt to get the entire venue cleaned up. I was able to find some hand soaps. They do have an extensive selections of them, organic and inorganic. Choices were many. They were pretty fully-stocked for the holidays. I found a couple of Kenneth Cole Reaction man's messenger bags, but their conditions were a bit shabby. I would say make sure you check all the buckles, pockets, interiors, and exteriors before making your purchases. The same principle apply on clothing, food, accessories, and miscellaneous items. If you set the bar low, you won't be disappointed. I typically walk in and grab 20 items of the rack and walk into the dressing area and I try them all on. This is my favorite Marshalls location. I'm shopping here for years and I've never had any issues shopping or returning items. I have a rewards card from this store so I can save some money each time by redeeming coupons I received for past shopping. Low prices, unique finds, great costumer service - all about this store. Love, love. Shopping here makes me happy. Coming back happy every time because I know that I will find some nice and useful surprise for myself in the Kitchen supplies Department or Women's Clothing Department. Some of my best looks were purchased here. I love Marshalls because they sell best brands of underwear for unbeatable prices. Cheaper than in the mall, but same quality. They have finds for everybody. And they know how to sell it best way. read more

I've been here 3x. Not a great Marshalls in terms of selection, service, organization. On my most recent visit, the fitting room attendant patted down the puffy coat for shoplifting. First time that's happened to me when going to a fitting room. Made me rethink the neighborhood and its crime levels if Marshalls has that policy in place. read more

I intended to go in for a few things to update my work wardrobe, but couldn't resist loading up my cart. This Marshall's is pretty clean and organized. This Marshall's is kind of gross. The racks are a mess and clothes are not grouped, but spewed all over the place. For example, jeans. I wanted to look for a new pair of jeans. There were some by the aisle, some racks by the clearance section, and some hung in random spots. I glanced over at the home goods section and did not even bother. Since I have been on a Marshall's rampage this past year I decided to go on a "tour of reviews" for all the ones I believe are worth it. So I had to start from this one. It still remains my favourite one due to the fact that its cleaner than any other I have ever been in. Dont believe me? Visit the bathrooms! Nice things, low prices, but no inventory. They need to carry more stuff that people buy. Basically, they need a lot better logistics system for them to order more items people buy and less of non - standard product. For example, they have tons of brown kitchen accessories, but two left of the silver. Any the two silver ones are damaged. Come on, most people but silver, why order equal amounts. read more

So I visited the Rogers Park location the other day and noticed they sold some pretty good perfume brands. So I held out for a few days before making the purchase but couldn't resist much longer. I have really wanted the Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B perfume for quite some time. Soooooooo, I stopped by this store to see if they had it. The other store had a bigger bottle for $34.99. However, this store had a gift set for $24.99. Perfect! Not only did I save a little money, but I got a smaller bottle (which is actually better -you need to use it up quickly because sometimes the perfumes at these discount retailers expire more quickly) and got two additional products. I am really happy with my purchase and will make it a habit to stop by Marshalls for their other deals more often! read more

I love shopping in this economy Marshalls has made my experiences convenient. Not to mention close to home, relatively cheap for the lil black dress or my recent spring and summer clothes and home goods. I was shocked when I found a stunning pair of leather soled nautical leather /canvas sandles with 1' heel by Ralph Lauren. I decided on my outfit and so I purchased the sandles for Mother's Day for $39.99. I wore them on and off for about 3 weeks once on Mother's Day and for work. All my clients and family complimented me on the style and asked where did I buy them so I referred them to Marshalls. To my dissapointment Its now June I started feeling a pain as if I was walking barefoot ...the bottom sole completely shredded the leather sole was so thin.. I was shopping and engaged in convo with the cashier and I showed her the bottom as I was wearing them that day I said Ralph Lauren should recall these sandles total wasteof money. She called Mindy the store manager and asked if I had my receipt and asked when did I buy because they are on clearance for $29.99. She said normally its a 30 day return policy its too late..you bought on May 3rd and its now June 24th I let her know I paid by credit card and I can easily take it up with Discover or contact the Ralph Lauren store directly. Mindy made an executive decision to make the customer me totally feel satisfied and happy with my purchases at Marshalls that she told me to bring my receipt back and it would be helpful if I still had the original box and said I cant believe the sandles wore out so quickly and graciously returned them and I really appreciated that. read more

Granted Marshall's has better prices than most department stores, it's not the greatest. I can recall one experience where I was happy to find lovely lamps for $25 each for my apartment. No later than a few weeks later I went to Ross and saw te exact same lamps and looked at the price to find try were $16 each! I was pretty pissed.
