This is our nearest and go-to Target. It's adequately met our needs over the years for miscellaneous household goods at reasonable prices and also for pickup of online orders. Their customer service is excellent and we've never had any issues with returns and they readily match internet prices if you show them their internet ads. It's a clean, bright, and spacious store. It's physically connected to the northwest end of the Golf Mill mall, but there really is no mall traffic anymore as the mall has been shuttered for years at that end of the mall. Their parking lot is adequate and spacious but like most Targets, watch out for all the sometimes crazy pedestrian traffic by their entrance. read more

this review has to do with curbside pick up for target. I cannot imagine shopping without curbside pick up ever again. It just makes shopping so easy. No dealing with the hassle of checking out at the Leynes, or having to worry about looking for stuff. The service that you get from curbside checkout is pretty seamless as well, so I applaud all the people that brave the elements, delivering the stuff from the store to our cars. Since we were up in the area we decided to maybe go to a mall or something and saw this Target which is not quite attached to the mall. It looks like you should be able to enter but you can't so we just wandered around and looked for a few items that we were interested in. In the end I found a toy that my older kid back home might like but it was a bit more expensive than what I could afford at the time. The kids with me did some shopping around but in the end we didn't make a purchase in this particular location. We had a couple of much better targets near where we were staying west of the city that would be easier for some of the shopping we intended to do. I've definitely been in better organized Target's and ones that were kept cleaner than this one felt. I personally don't shop at any Target very often but on the occasions I do I expect them to hold up the standard that I thought the company had. read more

Discovered that this Target is practically in walking distance save for the fact of a recent accident that limits my mobility. There is nothing wrong with the store. I like it because the service is nice to everyone, regardless of their race, or gender and it has an easy self check out system. All shelves are well arranged with so many cashier counters easy to shop in less time. Also the online order puck up and return and exchange counter is just as u enter the store so It is easier to pick up just in couple minutes to pick up Ample parking available so easy to park and go. This store is bigger and probably more collection then one on touhy avenue in Niles. Courteous staff who is ready to help with passion to serve customers. I found everything I was looking for and was able to get some great additional discounts with the target cartwheel app. Their selection is large, and their clearance items are at end caps so as not to clutter the main aisles. It was my first time in Target and I went there to buy something cause I am just around the place. There is an ample parking that is available which is great since I have a car with me. I observed that the size of the place is just enough to shop. The shelves are all well organized and it is easy to pick anything. However, I also observed that the workers in here are unprofessional, some are using cellphones while working, and some are a bit rude. Then when I was scanning some products I found an item that is already expired. I only get a few things and I check them one by one before heading to the counter. Luckily, the cashier is nice than the others. I can say that I had a bit awful experience here in Target and I hope it will be better next time. read more

I actually came here with one of my clients because he needed to buy some things prior to his upcoming trip to Washington DC. I personally didn't buy anything, but I did get the chance to look around at the men's section at some of the clothing items that I personally liked. I honestly never been too fond of shopping heavily at target, but they do have a select few casual clothing items that I like, which this location was typical to the others i have visited in the past. I tend to love looking at the DC/Marvel Comic t-shirt selections as always, which never let's me down. Another thing that I have to say about this location is that they have a great selection of men's hats, such as Fedora's & Goodfellow hat's, which was an attention grabber. Furthermore, while walking to the register I was acknowledged, and greeted by one of the employees, which from my observation many that I encountered at this location seemed to be at the college level, and mature. Not a bad location, but as for returning, I highly doubt I will because I live on a totally different side of town and really have no need to visit unless I'm in the area and needed something that I knew they had or I just happen to return with one of my clients, which is a slim chance. This is an OK Target. There was a weird pricing issue where they had a tag for contact lenses solution that said for sale $7.99 but at the register, it rang up to $9.55 which is quite a lot. Luckily they were able to sort it out with me at the customer service desk, but it ended up taking up another 15 minutes of my time waiting around and whatnot. I did find some nice clothing for sale though, including an American flag bikini (two piece) for about $10. read more

This Target is just fine - usually in stock and located near Golf Mill Mall. This review is for the excellent service I just witnessed at this Target location. This Saturday afternoon I wanted to grab a few odd items so I stopped in around 3. There were long lines, but nothing too out of control. All of a sudden the store manager came out and apologized for the delays. His team swooped in, manned more registers, handed out popcorn and issued everyone in line a $5 credit on their order. This is the best customer service I have ever seen!!! People weren't even upset about the lines, but Target preemptively corrected the problem ensuring we all left the store happy! Stopped by Target to get a drink from Starbucks. The girls working there doesn't seem to mind that their customer does not have his mask on correctly. HIS NOSE WAS HANGING OUT OF HIS MASK. He is around an area where they are preparing food and there is still a pandemic. The security did catch this and told him to put on his mask over his nose. As far as Targets go this one is fine. The store is clean and organized. The people I've interacted with all good. Probably the only downside of this location is the mall. Golf Mill mall is closed on the north half so if you want to go to the mall you have to go around to one of the southern entrances. read more

This specific Target is the place! I always go here and this is mostly the only very shop that I go to, firstly, their Parking is well arranged and Parking is very easy, it is also has a wide-ranged so that customers that desire to go there won't need to be so stressed about where to park their car's. Very Convenient, just by that I could already say that it is well built. The Place is very open, very spacious and all and are very clean and organized, once you go inside, you could already tell that they did their best to clean and to give a nice front view of their shop. Their Staff's, you could tell that they are all very hard working. They work quite fast and efficiently just for their Customer, they are all very friendly and they greet with such joy, for me that's something that I appreciate. Very prompt and friendly service they have, the employees are polite and they are all well-trained specialists in the time of quarantine, social distancing is very efficient, masks and all. Their customer service is very nice, one of the best things about their store, and they are also very helpful, getting some big items and having big heavy boxes, they will surely help you to put them into your car. Every aisle is organized which makes your shopping less harder and you'll have more fun picking without having any issues about the place. All in all the service, the employees, how the management treats and handle their customer's from when we first enter up to when we are finally exiting. All are very good, definitely recommending this place for those who strive for having a better and easy shopping day! Stopped in at Target this morning. The no frills experience was akin to shopping at a deep discounter or thrift shop except Target's prices are higher. A positive. Needed to return one item which was really the purpose of my trip. Fast and cheerful service. Thanks ! Downhill from there. Decided to shop a bit. Very cumbersome and frustrating as 50% of the aisles completely blocked mid-aisle by multiple shopping carts, some with merchandise. I assume the purpose was re-stocking, but can't confirm since there were no employees in proximity to most of them. Suggestion to Target, pull those carts to the end cap until you're ready to get to work. I normally shop at Target mid week and the situation is always the same, but come on it's almost 10 a.m. on Sunday morning. Didn't your weekly "sales/promotions" just start today ? Was it a surprise to you ? So. I navigate, back-up, circle around, virtually moving my cart around like an amusement park kiddy car. I decide to head to the check out. Not one cashier lane is open. So the self check outs are open. Normally I use them when I have a few items or am in a big rush, but today I have a full cart including gift cards and two things encased in plastic security boxes. I ask the Loss Prevention person (must be LP, right, since he's just watching people to be sure we don't leave without paying). He replies self checkouts are open, then curiously also adds if I'm "mad" he can try to call someone. All very weird as he seems to be inferring that I have a problem. No, I'll self service, thanks but I have gift cards. He doesn't reply so I put them aside. Did have to call him back over to remove the plastic contraptions, Did he really then need to be snippy and point out that they would have needed to be removed at a full service lane as well ? So this was all just very strange, Shopping at a Salvation Army store would have provided a better customer experience. My purchase totaled just over $126. With the exception of two grocery items I could have ordered everything comfortably and quickly from Amazon this morning, paid less money and had it delivered to my home within a few hours. My girlfriend and I stopped by this Target on the way from Minneapolis to Atlanta, and, even though most targets only slightly differ, this location could definitely use a few upgrades. Some info: -The sides of the building literally have paint falling off. -Parking shouldn't be difficult there, since it seems like most people in the neighborhood don't even visit. -Due to the low volume of people that they get, it doesn't seem like they're worried about stocking their shelves to the max. (Items might not be in stock at all.) -Clean bathrooms. -Unusually high number of teens there. -They open 8am everyday until 11pm on the weekdays, and Sundays. Close at midnight on Saturdays. -It's really quiet there. Did I mention not a lot of people visit this Target location? -Does have a small grocery section. I told her the date and she insulted me, telling me how i look sooooooo big and if that I'm having twins coz I'm quite big! She had quite the audacity to comment on my weight and my pregnancy for an obese person. Some training in decency with your staff will come a long way. Attention Target Corporation: this place needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL. Attention Target customers: go to another Target. This place is smaller than most Target stores, with half the selection. It's old and run down - no Starbucks, just the little food avenue with popcorn and hotdogs. There's ALWAYS a backup at the checkout - understaffed. Parking is awful. It's a large lot, it's always packed, and people here have a tendency to not comprehend how to direct their vehicle between two straight lines. (Shoutout to the lady whose entire review for this place was nothing but her bitching about how she got swiped in the parking lot and Target wouldn't help her find the culprit.) The staff here also seems pretty disorganized - I went to pick up an order I made online after receiving the "your item is ready for pickup!" email, and I head to the guest services desk. On December 28th. So maybe that's my mistake. But the line was long, other customers were acting like jagoffs (here's to you, you dumb old b*tch who thinks you're too good to wait in line. This is Niles, Park Ridge is one town over.) and when I finally get up to the counter, my order is NOT ready for pickup. They have to go to the back, figure out what it is, and get it. Not the seamless transaction I was hoping for. One more thing to note about the staff. I get it, you're all horny teenagers and a job like this is really just an excuse for you to try your hardest to get laid. But some professionalism would be nice in front of customers. I'm standing in the guest services area with four other customers, and one staff member is playing flirty keepaway with a radio that the other staff member needs to use to call her manager to finalize another customer's transaction. Cute in an indie film, but not so much to the customer who wants to make her return and leave without witnessing the mating dance of morons. The staff is always great and helpful when you need them. The store is also very clean and neat. The selection for most things at this Target, however, is not that great relative to the other Targets nearby. I feel like this is where the afterthoughts from the other Targets are sold. The clothing and shoe collections are so limited. I guess the other stores might have better sales figures in their clothing and shoe departments than this one. That said, this Target still serves it's purpose for me. It's where I go to get my essential toiletries and hair products from. read more
