The stars hold steady for an update. The store is getting fancier in a super mod way, but less of certain types of products. Groceries look like any Target but closer inspection on shelves shows limited choices, as the company wants only the guaranteed best sellers, like Chicken Noodle Soup and Tomato Soup. Even Menards a store specializing in hardware has more choices of soup and mixes than Target. I've mentioned before men's products have been in short supply for basics but the wide aisle and featured brands (i.e. high end), have increased. Boutique is the word going forward but sometimes we say cheaper will do just fine. read more

Horrible customer service, impossible to reach them by phone. The grocery store shelves are never fully stocked.

Target used to do a great job having employees maintain their bathrooms round the clock but this doesn't appear to be a priority anymore. The women's bathroom is always unclean & TP all over the stall floors. It's rather gross! Also, it used to be common practice for the cashiers to ask if you've brought your own bag. It's automatically assumed you've haven't which means you don't get the bag discount unless you clearly tell them this before they finish ringing you up. I generally use self-checkout but it wasn't open my last visit. The cashier got a bit rude with me when I mentioned I wanted the bag discount b/c I had my own bag. read more

Grocery, beauty, housewares, cleaning, toys, hardwares, kids, electronics, etc. Will all be found here. 1 stop shopping. I take advantage of curbside pickup. I enjoy the innovative nods this location has. The signs that highlight what department you're shopping in have a different glare to them. I feel like I could see them from further distance and helped me cut my trip short. Busy location for sure, serves grocery and anything else you're looking for. The community this location is in, is compact so you'll most likely be around a rush no matter what time you visit. Although the community is compact, this location is not, a lot space to see your product and they typically have stocked shelves. Parking lot most likely will always be a jam, its at the beginning of the shopping mall so even if people aren't going to Target, they most likely will have to pass it to get to where they're going. There are multiple entrances to the parking lot, so you have options to relieve what can be traffic at the stop light. Who doesn't love Target? This particular location is in such a great place - The Quarry has so many other stores that makes one-stop shopping trips perfect. This Target is rather sizable without actually being a SuperTarget. There's a pharmacy, a small produce section, clothing, shoes, you know the rest. I wish this were a SuperTarget! Seriously. I come to this Target the most. But when I need groceries, I find myself having to travel to a SuperTarget so I can get all the fresh produce and veggies I need. This Target has a great selection of items in pretty much each department :) My only "complaint" (not a complaint at all!) is that they restock items once a week...Tuesday, I think? which means that if you go towards the end of the week there are lots of empty spaces. But I love Target no matter what, especially this location! read more

I think Target is becoming my new religion. This location is great - it has all of the usual things you'd love to throw your money at plus a grocery section, Starbucks, and CVS inside. But can we please talk about their new Drive Up service??? Now you can shop on the Target app, which recently merged with their Cartwheel coupon program. I personally think it's way more beneficial to "shop" on the app because it's easier to search, sort/filter, and compare pricing and consumer ratings etc. I add things to my cart selecting the "Drive Up" option, and when I submit my order, it is ready at the Quarry within 2 hours (usually within the hour). I update the app that "I'm on my way" and when "I'm here", an employee comes out literally in seconds and loads my order in my car. REALLY COOL & CONVENIENT CONSUMER FUN! Otherwise, inside, the store is large, organized, and well-stocked. Their Beauty Team in the CVS area is very helpful and have given me useful and innovative tips. Even substitutions for things they don't carry! Annnd there's free wifi in their Starbucks cafe area. read more

Target is Target but since this one is so near me I go more often than I would like and have gotten to know it a little. Most staffers will look at you as you walk by and say nothing. This has happened to me numerous times and one interaction I had with an employee during self-checkout was jarring and uncomfortable so I would opt not to use it again... I realize this location is so busy at times but it just feels "empty" without having friendly and responsive staff. Our only good interaction was when we bought a TV. We got lucky in the tech department with who helped us because the other employees standing around drove me nuts. There's one good egg here so far, good luck finding him. read more

Ok, I'm new to the area and I have to say this now being my new local Target- that it's a major upgrade to the Target that I used to frequent! They have a ton of natural food selection brands that I often shop for at the co-op and the clothes selection seems to be way cuter (not that Target brand fits my frame great). When taking a handful of summer dresses to the fitting room area to try on, the gals customer service was more like what I usually find at a boutique. They took the clothes from me and walked me to the dressing room and hung them up for me- NICE! Not something I've experienced before at any other Target. AND it was with a smile. Double NICE (Uhm especially for this area- the general public seems to be lacking the common smile return curtesy I was used to farther out in the Burbs. Boo. I like smiles!) They also have a large selection of self check out registers- some with conveyor belts (I think that's what they are called??). It took me a moment to realize that they too were part of the self check out (Uhm it'll play the "I'm blond" card on this one). I also want to give a shoutout for the Starbucks located in the front of the store as well. I've gotten service with a smile from the cuties that work there and it has a nice, open seating area. Way to go Target- you've made me want to shop Target more often now! read more

I adore the Quarry Target. It is always clean, well stocked, and has an excellent selection. I appreciate that they are working toward improving their Health and Beauty section and offer testers of makeup where not all other Target stores do. Unfortunately, there aren't many mirrors in this section, which makes testing a little awkward. Their pharmacy is extremely helpful and efficient, as is the in-store Starbucks shop. I never have an issue or throw off the Target cashiers when I bring my own bag, and have also never experienced a malfunction or hang up when using the self-service cashier stations. With tons of Targets to choose from in the Twin Cities, this is probably our favorite one. It's not a Super Target, but the grocery selection is still adequate. Store is large, clean, organized and very well laid out. Parking and access are easy and plentiful. Pharmacy, Clinic, Starbucks, Photo printing and more. The staff is always super friendly and helpful; guest services makes returns and exchanges a breeze; the electronics staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. The Home Section does a layout similar to a department store, which is which is nice if you want to see how things might look arranged in a home. Generally not too crowded and they do a good job of staffing cash registers when it's busy. Extended hours during holidays. read more

Target is target. No matter which one you go to or what location they'll all be set up practically the same. It's a good place to get your regular grocery shopping done as well as pick up a few other amenities as well as some luxury items. Solid selection of produce though not robust, and some great options for meat and dairy. I've got the things that I usually go in to grab and it's usually right there when I need it, with the exception of the one time I went and they were out of Mexican Coca-cola. (That stuff is truly the gold standard of liquid) The layout is a bit difficult as there is only one way to get into the complex where all the stores are. Target is the first store so usually parking can get a bit tricky. But if you're patient, stroll up to the parking eisles right by the front entrance and you'll usually find a good close spot for easy in and out shopping experience. I used to park at the spots right as you drive into the complex to the far right of the store, and ended up with more cars far away than were close up. So just a little tip if that makes sense to you all. Probably only makes sense to me really. ;) It's a far easier target to shop at and park at than the one downtown, so go check this one out if you live in the North or Northeast areas. It'll provide you with exactly what you need. Target always does. read more

I needed a watch battery changed. Target is listed as one of the place where you can do that, in their electronics dept. I said "I need a watch battery changed." Worker # 1: "What do you mean?" Me: (incredulous) : "I need the battery taken out of a watch and replaced with a new one." (duh) Worker #2 (Worker # 1 had become silent and distracted by something else): After about 1 minute of trying, said "I don't know how to pry open the watch, so I can't help you". Need an IQ of at least 100, lots of training, and appropriate customer service skills for this job. These guys missed the boat on all three. read more

I just went to Target tonight (08/28/2022) to price match an item from CVS. An elderly white woman that had a hijab on at the cashier register (just wanted to be specific as possible because I didn't look at her name) told me that they didn't do price match for CVS. Which is a bold lie. This was my first time price matching so I was having anxiety but I know Target do, do it for CVS. She told me that I could go up to customer services and ask if Target do. I decided to just enter self checkout and ask the person working there instead to price match for me. The employee there was a young Asian male and he told me that they do PM to CVS and he helped me adjust the price for me. I am so grateful and happy that he was able to help me! For the other female employee on the other end I was very disappointed in. I felt like she just didn't want to PM for me because I would be getting a lower price. All in all, please keep the young man at this Target. He was so nice and helpful! read more

It's Minneapolis, Target rules this hood. This store in particular isn't a SuperT. It has some groceries, but isn't as stocked with delis and all like the Roseville Target. Nevertheless, I like this store because it is convenient. It's in the strip mall with PetSmart, Old Navy, and Rainbow. Bring a reusable bag for 5 cents off your purchase. read more

For whatever reason, I love this Target. Even though Target downtown is on my walk home, I will go out of my way to drive up to the bloody Quarry and get my Target on. They always have everything I want, unlike some Targets, and they usually have what I like to think of as bootleg bumble & bumble shampoo. The only downside is the college students trying to decide what hair dye to buy and gumming up the aisles with stupidity. But, once upon a time, that was me. And the people that work there can be really pokey about checking out... is scanning one-handed good for carpal tunnel? That's all the sense I can make of that... read more

This store, like many other stores, shines with pride with clean asiles, stocked shelves and friendly staff. My only complaint however is that the customer service people will NOT give out quarters. When i lived in northeast and downtown i'd always get quarters when i was at the store for meeters, laundry etc.. the downtown store will give 2-3 dollars in quarters with no problem. Twice i tried in northeast, each time a rude older woman waited on me and she said and i quote "we're not a bank, go to the rainbow foods, there's a bank in there." Totally taken back by this rude B. Went in to buy a new Cell phone and got took by the target Electronic team .Leaving my black Leather jacket behind at the cell phone service center not realizing untill about 5 hours later .I Gave them a call and it was their however the young man that answered the Target main line was very snotty when I expressed concern over the hole matter .After All they have my number remember. My purpose. Of visit. Was to buy a cell phone .That being stated I drove back in and my pocket. Knife was not in my Right leather jacket pocket like always .this pocketknife was $220.00 Not only that it was a family. if this is super target i just want to say that me and my friend were going to try-test a speecker for us and so we tested it to see how loud it is and a employee yelled and me and her and its like if u ddint want us to test the speackers then y are they even out and have a button to press to hear it and what it sounds like and its kinda stupid honestly it wasnt even that loud anyways the starbucks is awesome credit to starbucks there and also the rest of super target is very good i recomend going there also i think that they should fire him and also i would reccomed not pressing the speacker button if u dont want to get yelled at and there are no signs that say dont press the speacker buttons! thank u read more

I went for veggie broth and it was chicken broth, stock, none broth city. I almost gave up and finally found reasonably priced stuff in cans. The over priced organic stuff doesn't count. Also, it'd be an amazing blessing if this place had bathrooms in the back of the store. It's quite a hike if you've got a cart full of stuff and a kid. DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR PLUS SIZE CLOTHING! I must say that over the last year or so, the customer service has greatly improve, ever since they changed the location to right next to the cash registers. I go to this Target a lot and have always found it meets my needs in all areas except baby, toddler and kids clothes. The selection leaves a lot to be desired. I don't see the problem with local managers selecting their own store's clothing. One thing that would improve all Targets is to give your stores the ability to move merchandise to consolidate it (like towels) to one location. I asked an associate to get the right color towels to the Quarry location as it's on a local couples registry here in NE Minneapolis. He hadn't heard of that. So, wedding guests wanting towels in this color can go to different Targets to buy one towel at each. A bit tiresome. I bought only washcloths. Overall this Target gets 4 stars from me. read more

Was in need of patio furniture and David was a big help in the Seasonal Department. He looked on line for furniture possibilities at other stores. He grabbed a flatbed cart for me to move 2 lounge chairs I found on clearance. Because I wanted to continue shopping he hauled the chairs on the flatbed all the way to the front of the store for me. This target is completely unreliable. Products come and go. With zero indications where they have been moved. If you try to go to the pharmacy. Just don't there black light is broken so it completely hauled there operations. Unless you have already called in one. But if they have to look at your ID at all you are out of luck. Really target one light goes down and you can't do anything to find a work around? Pathetic, distasteful, and completely unprepared never returning to this sad excuse for a target. read more

I'm leaving this review for Linda, the cashier. She's a mature lady with short hair and glasses that was working last night (11/4) when I stopped in. She's been there quite a few times that I've shopped, and has always been so sweet and pleasant. She's always smiling. I frequently come in when I've been tired, stressed from a long shift at work, and I'm not in the best of spirits. Last night I was in a very low place. i'm just saying, when she signaled me over to her register, I was actually happy, because she's always so nice. register work/retail is brutal. I've done it.
